Kirsty Partridge Art

Kirsty Partridge Art how long did this take you? Like how long did it take for each?
Just wondering
Kirsty Partridge Art plzzz tell me what prismacolors you used yours came out great pls tell me
I was trying to draw my brother’s leg, so I came here!

Ri but I was waiting for fluffy hair and it never came 😔
I'd tried everything I got,but my technique in color pencil is wasn't good enough, cause here I'm back to where I'm before.
Kristy: Marker Underbase
Me: *frantically grabs fistfuls of Copics and Prismacolors I sold my liver for*
Only a liver?!?!?!?
kitty cat how silly of me! I forgot to write my rib cage and my left arm! Sorry about that!
@@silverknight3424 I'm a lefty so I had to sell my right.
I think you need one more kidney
What where did u get it from i sold my heart and it was a scam
Is it just me or is the layering technique good for drawing hair?
yes this technique is good for long fur and hair :D

@@fladimo9594 I've done that before 🤣
Lol me too
#relatable
SAME
in every method i was like:
ok it starts to look like fur.
ok now it doesnt look like fur at all
aaand now it looks like fur again
aaand it's gone....
annnd it's up again.
ok it's finished.... is it? yes it's finished.
Suncho actually every drawing disappoints me. In the beginning it's beautifully detailed and contrasted and then she ruins everything by just making the fur being all black or brown. In the end it's beautiful, yes, but what's the point with making such an effort if she just colours everything in the end ?
It adds depth. If I draw something and use just two colours it shows. Layering and building multiple tones really makes a difference. It's the key to a good piece of work, anything good takes time and patience 😊
She is doing to many steps for a result with indirections. We cant say it is wrong or right.
It is her effort.
But the result is well done.
@@agisa123456789 actually by doing alot of steps it gives more depth, a more realistic look, and it gives more of a less grainy look. but if you want a realism/illustration type of drawing, then yes you can stop at the beggining :)
After my last drawing, I realised I had to up my game when it came to drawing fur. This video has helped loads! Tried all 5 methods and it's been a definite improvement on what I could do before, so thanks!
Subbed and will be using your tuts for future reference.
*makes five straight lines*
omg I’m an artist! I CAN MAKE FUR!
Pusheen Life HOW DID YOU MAKE STRAIGHT LINES?!
u are truly an artist
is there any way you could show your reference photos in future videos? if I wanted to draw brown fur, for instance, I'd want to get out a brown pencil the exact same color. I'd be interested to see how you get from the photo to the first layer, second layer, etc., if that makes sense.
You are extremely talented when it comes to art hacks, drawing, shading, blending, burnishing, solvents, and coloring! Thank you for your technique tutorials....it really gave me the knowledge that i was lacking in some areas and much improvement on others. Can't wait to keep learning from your videos. Practice and patience! Have a good day!
This was SO very helpful! Not only are you an amazing artist, but you are also great at explaining your processes. Thanks so much! 👍💖
Your description along with showing your work is really good! Though I can't help but to think "What kind of sorcery is this!?" after a few layers. I never knew how to proceed passed one layer, so this was magical and so useful to me, at the same time!
Have you tried it out yet?
your videos are so helpful
Thank you! I am glad you find them useful :D
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else needs to find out about steps to draw pencil portraits try Skyarza Portrait Coach Star (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my m8 got excellent success with it.
The Etching technique would be excellent for elephant skin

Since I don't have polycromos, I use prismacolor scholar pencils cause they're harder than the prisma primers. Works for me ! Love what you did with the solvent. They all look excellent ! Never would have thought of or seen the etching before. Can't wait to try it ! Thanks, your awesome !

Wow u make it look so simple. I think that I'd still mess up. When I was in high school I had the highest grade. I stopped drawing due to starting a family. I'm 53 and feels like I'm starting from scratch again.

Wow... this totally looks like 5 glued-on patches of 3-dimensional fur at the end. Amazing!
N_ Nic. It is 3-dimensional fur art. Just isn’t glued on
Thanks so much for sharing, very helpful for beginners with colored pencils
I'll definitely be using these methods!
So fascinating! I wanted to learn this anyway, but it was a great cure for insomnia. I forgot myself trying to get the techniques right, and relaxed with focus on hand and pencils . . . and some of it actually looked like what you were aiming at. Then I got a glass of milk and went to sleep.
