A person's life is never a footnote. You just gave Lorenz Beha a life in our minds and memory. Good video!

As strange as it may sound that remind me of something I saw in play years ago that I sadly can't remember the name of. something along the lines of " Everyone dies 2 deaths, the 1st the end of their mortal life and the 2nd when the last person speaks their name for the last time."

I like your comment, Idovlin! And the reply!!! Both very memorable. I think I will remember them the rest of my life!

I'm always struck by how careless the criminals are, didn't destroy the blood stained clothes, didn't hide the stolen goods in the woods but of course if they really thought things through they wouldn't be be criminals in the first place

Really interesting thanks, I’ve never heard of that case before. Sounds like he was an opportunist who took what he could sell, sad to brutally cut a life short for such greedy motives.
I like the photos and sketches used in your videos, they give a real sense of going back in time. I also like how the local pub was used in such a multi purpose way. Talk about making the best of a bad situation.
On a side note, my mother in law is from Kings Lynn and I have visited Baden Baden, both beautiful places.

I am finding that pubs were often used to store bodies and things of that nature back then when needed, I doubt health and safely would be please about that today. Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed it.

As much as I will be covering more well known topic too, I don't want to just cover the same stories other already have. That being said I have recently found some info meaning I can over a major event in the countries history from an point of view that is often ignored.

A gruesome tale but well told. A couple of side notes: the 'bundle' our poor victim carried, here in US, in 'Hobo Speak' is called a 'Bindle'. The ledger book carried used to be referred to as a 'Pocket Book'. Now Women carry them but this is where a Man kept his accounts. You have a great presentation.

Another very interesting video. I've limited my how often I watch so I don't run out of your videos!
Inside Norwich Prison there is a small grassed area which contains the graves of some of those executed there. In Winson Green Prison the old execution room had been converted into a dentist's surgery. The chair was fixed to the hatch in the floor and the beam was boxed in above the chair. Any prisoner having treatment was unwittingly looking up towards the piece of wood from which many people had been dispatched!

There's something missing here in the account but the "why" can be missing in life, people just do things in the moment. Envy, jealousy, perceived desperation, who knows.

the pub you showed? It was the Griffin in Tittleshall , Not the one you show. The body of Mr Lorenz Beha was found in a nearby ditch Friday 18th November 1853.
His body was brought to the Griffin where it was seen that evening by surgeon Mr. J. Jump of Litcham. He further inspected the body the following Monday.
