📌Ingredients:
2 cups of milk (500ml).
2 medium eggs .
~ 1/2 cup of sugar (90g).
~ 5 and 1/4 tablespoons of cornstarch (40g).
zest of 1 lemon.
2 tablespoons of lemon juice (30ml).
1 cup of sweetened whipping cream (250ml).
20 ladyfingers.
~1/2 cup of milk (150ml).
roasted almonds (sliced+chopped) for garnish .

I’d soak the lady fingers in a little alcohol. Maybe lemon cello and also put a layer of lemon curd in there… You could soak the lady fingers in any flavour you like..eg Baileys and then a layer of hazelnut cream etc.

You can put in refrigerator if you want to cool faster. The custard will solidify either way, and then you need to break it again with the mixer before use. This custard is good for 5 days in refrigerator if you want to make it in advance and finish recipe later. (it's the same type of custard used in many recipes, I also add vanilla flavor to it)
