📌Ingredients :
2 medium eggs.
1/2 cup of sugar (100g).
3/4 tablespoons of vanilla extract.
~ 6 and 3/4 tablespoons of all purpose flour (50g).
~ 3 and 1/4 tablespoon of cornstarch (25g).
~3 and 1/4 cup of milk (800ml).
5 tablespoons of butter (75g).
700g of palmier cookies (puff pastry cookies).

It looks like twenty minutes to cook the rue, ten minutes to simply put the sweet rue and cookies into the pan, five minutes to sprinkle cookies on top and prepare for the refrigerator, and five hours of chilling. In what world does that add up to ten minutes?

They are French pastries made with puff pastry. Different from a biscuit or a cookie but described as a 'biscuit'. They are called Palmiers not "Palmers".

But the only sweetness is in the biscuits, right? Eggs, flour, cornstarch, milk, butter...whip it then set in a pan and layer with biscuits..crunch up remaining biscuits to top "cake". It may be good, but it doesn't sound very sweet. Most of the flavor and sweetness would have to come from the biscuits...so I'd say that's an important ingredient to this recipe. Better pick a very good tasting biscuit..and also, pick one I'd guess that's not going to soak up the moisture from the whipped layer and get soggy. That'd be quite depressing and ruin the whole thing...including that the "10 minutes" it takes to make this would have been a waste of time...unless you scoop it all into a bowl and add bananas and vanilla pudding and mix...to create a rather elaborate "restaurant" style banana pudding..which would likely be quite delicious...and definitely sweet(er). Just a suggestion so nothing goes to waste: it in case the first go doesn't go quite right. I'm usually dead on about these ideas, although I can't say I've tried it. Then spoon into bowls and garnish with a piece or a few slices of banana sprinkled with brown sugar...or top with fried banana.

This is nothing new. Add slices of banana along with the cookies. Now you have homemade banana pudding. Top it with whipped cream.
