Sort of confused at what Simon's issue has been with Gary Neville's criticisms of the Glazers when he has basically echoed them word for word here.

hahaha, IMO it was because of Klopps substitutions yesterday why they lost that game that they dominated and were so much better than utd, a total class difference. Liverpools huge injuries also benefitted utd, no Allison, no Trent, no Jota, No Jones, no Konate....... If Alonso goes to Liverpool they will get even better than they currently are.

Somebody tell Graeme that Casemiro has more Champions League medals than him. He always dines out on that fact that he has three, and often other players can't compete and have to just shut up. Not with Case. Does that make Graeme a steady-eddie in the Liverpool side?

The issue with replacing ETH is simply who would come after him? Graham Potter? Southgate? If either of those are in charge there would be 0 positivity from day 1.
Onana is in his first season. Honestly in the last 5-6 weeks he has improved quite significantly and is getting a lot better at adapting to getting hold of the ball. De Gea had a terrible start at Man Utd until he settled in. Once he did settle in there was a period where De Gea was the best keeper in the world. Onana is coming through, he'll keep improving. Now we just need the right midfield to hold the game and press teams on a more regular basis.
As a United fan, I did not expect Simon & Sourness to speak professionally about United. I respect this piece of content. Really valuable. One thing I wish they spoke more is How Mino Riola.
I think the biggest enemy of our club is Mendes, meanwhile Riola rinsed our club during our biggest injection of cash Chevrolet deal. Having a sporting director that has developed relationships with these agents will certainly help us out.

I'm so confused,everybody bypasses what Ten Hag did last season,it's incredible. Expected to finish 8th-10th-ish,finished 3rd and two Cup Finals,winning one. Everyone's airbrushed it. It was a minor miracle with all their problems what he did. Or did I imagine all that? I mean,fair's fair.....
Because we know how that happened. He played his strongest team in cups when others heavily rotated and we had really nice draws (in the Carabao) - hell we even lucked out with their keeper in the final. Also one guys goals really carried the team.
They were not expected to finish 8th - 10th, you’ve made that up. Had easy domestic cup draws, ALL at home. Handed their city rivals the treble. Lost 7-0 at Liverpool. Embarrassed v Sevilla in the Europa league. Failed to beat a top 10 team away from home. Chelsea, Spurs & Liverpool fell off a cliff. The football was pretty dire. He did the absolute bare minimum

The first XI looks v decent on paper, esp. if players hit form. United need more quality in their squad though, u can't start playing Dalot or Lindelof @ LB, or McT as a false 9...or having to bring in youth-teamers into the starting lineup, as soon as you get a few injuries/suspensions.
Utd should stick with ETH. It’s one of the worst summers to be looking for a manager with a lot of big teams such as Liverpool, Barca and Bayern looking for managers, plus a couple of the big international teams may end up needing new coaches. I can’t see changing being anything other than a huge risk.

A headline that always annoys me. I’m a United fan, but what does ‘back’ mean? Certainly not in competing ways at the top of the Prem. When we win it or come close on a consistent basis again, only then can we say we’re back. And no way is that happening in two years, or at least shouldn’t realistically, we’d have to have the best transfer windows with all the luck that every signing works out, and those that do hit the ground running straight off the bat. They're not playing differently with Onana because the players that were brought in to play that style are out injured. With Maguire and Evans you can't play that style. The spine of the team to play that way are out and have been all session. So he's going with plan B. But let's not mention this. It's like I ask you to describe an iceburg to me and you tell me what you see above the water and neglect to mention what's below the water line.

Confused as to what your view is as it’s contradictory. You think the players aren’t good enough, but you think Ten Hag should be sacked? So he could be getting the maximum out of the players but because the players aren’t good enough they are where they are and he still deserves to be sacked? The previous managers have also called out these players and we have sacked manager after manager and stuck with the players. Surely sticking with a manager is the way forward.
Getting rid of DDG was necessary, he was way too error prone, mistakes waiting to happen and couldn’t play from the back. ETHs main problem is that players like Antony, Mount, Sancho didn’t click and players like Shaw, Malacia, Casamiro, Varane, Awb are always injured.

Here's the thing you played well for 35 minutes 1st half, the majority of the 2nd until you equalized was a like a training session for Liverpool, they were so comfortable. And like Klopp I'm fuming that we lost to this Man Utd side, because they are a poor team and this is as good as they can play and they sucker punched Liverpool towards the end of the game, and that control Liverpool had, they lost after that. Utd didn't beat Liverpool, Liverpool got complacent and allowed this match to slip away from them.

They need 3 or 4 years of an actual rebuild. No attempted fast tracking with Schweinsteiger, Ronaldo, Casemiro, Di Maria, Varane, Sanchez style signings of players whose best days have been and gone
