There are a bunch of videos on this subject, your vehicles part is the one that matches my 2008 Trail Blazer. There are a lot of parts that will work but it involves cutting and splicing wires which makes more of a job of this than it has to be (IMO) so I basically ordered one of the cut and splice parts, sent it back and ordered the one in your parts description, and it was a pull and plug job. Thank you for posting, you not only saved me a ton of cash by DYIing, you saved me a lot of work by getting the exact match part for my car. Thanks again!

Omg I finally finally found someone with the exact same problem. I have 05 GMC envoy. My front doesn't blow period but the rear is fine. Did you or anyone find the problem? Please help. It's literally 2 degrees right now and all next week will be the same. I can't see going to work from the fog in my window and I can't have my family in there.

Hi - I don't have a "power prob" ..... what can I use instead of a power prob to test the resistor and the blower motor? Thanks

Did any of the lights on the control panel light up? On my 02 Envoy, it’s as if there is no power to the controller panel.

My Envoy O2 is blowing cold on one side but hot on the other not sure what's going on also. Might be related is I changed my radio and my back AC stopped working I heard if you change the stock things will get out of whack

Did u ever find the problem? I'm having the same issue. It's freezing and I need heat. The back is fine but not the front. I wish I can fill the back but more of putting that heat to defrost cause I can't see anything. It's just nerve wrecking going to and from work. Please help

@@jaguarblack4332I have a 2002 en boy ,in my case it ended up being a plug w loose wires underneath after removing 1 plastic panel under the glove box ,although these envoys trail blazer ,Buick same model are known for electrical issues could be control panel or actuator device switches 1 vent to next ,good luck ,I got lucky one day wife accidentally kicked the panel driving down the road and front vent kicked on so I removed it found loose connection 👍

The connector to the resistor melts down as well

For anyone seeing this comment now. Check the point where the 2 wires connect. One of my connectors was burnt and causing the wires to heat up. I took out the bad crimp connector, put in a new one and bam, no more hot wires. This saved me $50 since I did not have to buy the resistor kit.

Spent the last 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get the blower motor plug off, because the POS that engineered it couldn't just make it a squeeze and pull. Still haven't got it 😡😡
