11:20 Thank you for mentioning that extra detail about the mouse! This laptop is probably my favorite laptop right now even though the gpu power limits are pretty low. I’m assuming that’s because thunderbolt 4 has power delivery limits so they can’t push many watts, so I hope in the coming years we’ll get to see a better thunderbolt that can support more watts to give laptops like these more power. Great video!

They actually coulda put a slightly higher power limit for the GPU if they wanted. The Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i 14 has the same thunderbolt 4 USB C ports and a 80w GPU whereas this one has a 65w gpu

How is the rtx 4050 in this laptop compared to a desktop one
I'm a student and i upgraded from an m1 macb air to a 2024 g14. I loved the new g14, but there was a slight delay with my airpods while watching videos, about 200ms. Apparently apple compensates for bluetooth lag so there is no lag while watching content on mac. It bothered me too much (cause im sensitive ik) and i returned to get a macb pro 14. I'd venture to guess it'd be the same experience with this laptop. Just ought to let anyone know if they are considering switching from mac and are sensitive to that kinda thing.
I have this laptop and use it with my AirPods Pro and have no noticeable latency issues

such a small yet powerful laptop
im gonna buy this laptop when i can afford it. definetely better than the zephyrus g14. i was planning to buy the g14 with its amazing 3 oled display and 120 hertz but when this laptop came out, i want to buy it instead. not only can it perform better it also has huge battery life for traveling. most gaming laptops require to be plugged in 24/7 to work good, but this laptop doesnt really need to be charged all the time, it performs well even without the charger. also the cooling is amazing on the laptop and is better than most. definetely a win win for the omen transcend 14!

I got the Omen 16, but I wish I had waited for this one. It’s more powerful and is smaller for more portability. I’m mainly doing school work, so this would be so much better.

It depends on if you are doing school work really. If you are doing school work and are bringing your laptop places constantly, then get the Omen 14. I think the Omen 14 is the better laptop overall, so go for the Omen 14. The Omen 16 is cheaper though. Try watching some reviews on them both.@@stonedgoat4348
@@stonedgoat4348 Thb if you take it out to travel the trancend 14 just wins because it is smaller. If you wanna use it for gaming and gaming only the hp omen 16 probably wins beacuse it has a 1080p 165hrz display. This results in more fps compared to a 2.8k screen because that is just more demanding.

I play Geforce Now Ultimate on a Yoga Slim 7 pro oled 2,8K, but unfortunately the screen only does 90hz, it's still amazingly good, but this would be a perfect upgrade to 120hz 😁👍

If you want to play fps game like valorant or overwatch, then get the 240 hz laptop. But for AAA games, 120 hz is perfect. So it depends.

A good alternative and probably cheaper to play games on battery would be the Asus ROG G14 because it also allows to switch to Performance mode without being plugged in
Be aware of possible OLED burn-in after 24 months. Mini LED is still a better choice.
Most phones are oled and last for about 5 years with no burn in. I think the burn in worrying is a bit far fetched

gaming on laptop without using the power supply ? lol. and on lap ? get burned with low fps that will only last like what ? an hour at best ? lol. gaming on gaming laptop only when ure stationary. the reason to buy them is because u can take them on the go for work related stuffs or simply to game in hotel room, again, when stationary.

good to note, the slim charger on this laptop is because it doesn't use as much power. You do get a lot more portability but it means the 4070 in the laptop runs more like a 4060

legion have 135W GaN charger for legion laptop though, it's legion C135 which is more than 2 times smaller than this
