Logitech makes a lot of computer peripherals. From keyboards for your mom, to keyboards for your gamer bros, if there is a category of product that lives on your desk, Logitech probably has their hat in the ring. And after creating some iconic pieces of kit, like the Logitech G Pro Superlight, or the MX Master line-up of products, it's no wonder they're a top brand in a space crowded with competitors like Corsair, Razer, Cooler Master, and many more. But is it all good? We build a full gaming setup using only Logitech products to find out.

The racing wheel and pedals is their higher end product. If you would have gotten the G920 or related line, that's around $200-400. The difference is that the higher end uses a direct drive motor which provides more detail and force feedback, while the lower end has a belt driven motor and lower feedback similar to their older models like the G27 Linus mentioned.

The price of Logitech products is high, but I've never found a company with customer support as good as theirs. My cable for the Logitech GPRO X headset broke a few months back, after it was out of warranty, and they sent out a new cable free of charge in less than a week(They also rma'd my G513 keyboard in less than a week when the usb passthrough stopped working, and back when I first got the headset, they rma'd it after the right speaker started disconnecting). The support staff responds fast, and they know what they're doing. I think a lot of what you pay goes into peace of mind. The company actually cares about user experience.

Some advice from owning the Compass mic arm. It's sold as a combo deal with the Blue Yeti, but it's not really designed for it. The internal mechanism is literally a steel wire with no grease that holds the entire arm in place using friction against a piece of plastic. It's very prone to self combusting if you over tighten it, and there's no indication on how much you're supposed to tighten the mic arm. It's especially bad if you're constantly moving the mic vertically, hinging at the base. Mine lasted less than a year before the steel wire ate through the plastic, and it lost the ability to hold my mic up. It's a very aesthetically pleasing mic arm when it works, but the Blue Yeti with Boom arm at maximum extension is a bit too much for the arm to hold comfortably, unless they've majorly changed the design in the last 3 years. Even at the discounted price, the Compass is still substantially less sturdy than comparable mic arms like the Samson MBA38. The Compass is rated for half the weight of the Samson mic arm, and it shows.
I'm not going to say "don't ever buy it", but if you're going to buy it, have a plan in place to avoid constantly moving the mic arm. Use the Compass for what it was intended for: Looking pretty and keeping your cables clean. If you want something that's durable enough to move from the middle of your desk to the edge every day without fail, look somewhere else.

I have a crazy merch idea: Make a special version of the LTT desk pad that has a section with thinner rubber, along with a cutout for the control box on the Logitech powerplay. How surprised Linus may act, he knows lol.

I have a full SteelSeries set up, keyboard, mouse, headset mouse pad.
I got it after my crappy razer stuff all started failing one after the other.
I really want to go with Logitech next.
The problem is all the SteelSeries gear just won't die. I guess thats a good thing.

I still use H800 headphones. They're lightweight, I can connect them to my phone or computer, and they aren't giant puffy over-the-ear things. And the sound quality is perfectly fine. They were discontinued, though, and I have to shop ebay for replacements whenever the micro usb connection inevitably breaks. Those used to retail for $40-60, and I can get them "like new" for $35-45.
Their most comparable current product IS 240 DOLLARS. To heck with that.

Man, I used to be a big Logitech fan back when the G13 programmable gaming keypad was a thing. I loved that I could utilize one software UI for nearly all of my peripherals. These days though, Razer is the only brand that produces a somewhat decent and relatively affordable programmable gaming keypad with their Tartarus models, so I'm generally stuck running multiple UIs as Razer's Mice, in my experience, have all been hot garbage regarding QC, longevity and software bugginess. After switching to my Swiftpoint Z gaming mouse 5+ years ago though, I'll probably never go back to Logitech for mice anymore either. I already got in on the early bird special of Swiftpoint's soon-to-be-released Z2 gaming mouse. If it's anything like it's predecessor, it will be well-worth the dollars spent. And realistically, at the $130-ish I put down as an early adopter, that seems to be a great price considering how fully featured the Z-series mice are compared to these mainstream competitors.

I so love my G13, a mode /color each for gaming, productivity and mostly random macros. It's still just running off LGS from 2018, and I found it cool that my new g502 hero works off that software too ( I guess it's an older model)

I currently have a G915 keyboard (only keyboard I can actually use due to it being full size AND low profile), a G903 mouse, a Powerplay mousepad, some 1080p Logitech webcam I can't remember the model number of, and G733 headset.
The headset was the last item I bought and only went with Logitech because I had issue after issue after issue with Sennheiser and figured since I already had so many Logitech products, I may as well stay in the ecosystem. I've never had a problem with it and it works brilliantly.
The only product I have an issue with is the mouse. The G903 has a known issue where you can't really hold down either mouse key very well. Because I have the Powerplay mat, I'll be sticking with Logitech when I replace the mouse but it'll likely be the G502.

I bought a logitech G502 and it wore out in a year. I spent a 1/3rd the amount on a razer basilisk X and so far it has last 3 years. I prefer the feel of the logitech by a large amount over the razer. But the razer just continues to work flawlessly. The logitech double clicks and the scroll wheel button stopped working.

Of course for anyone not in the Canusa the Logitech pad is half the price at least of the LTT one. And that before VAT and customs we have to pay (double VAT since Canada vat is already paid and can't be removed and LTT store doesn't have a VOEC)

8:32 If your Bluetooth speaker have a volume button, Android OS has this thing called Absolute Bluetooth Volume enabled by default, which force you to only be able to control the volume of your android phone, and not one in the Bluetooth speaker no matter which button you press, and if your Bluetooth speaker reset its volume to say 50% after booting , it'll stay that way

plus their customer support seems to be pretty good. bought a g pro x superlight on sale for a hundred bucks about 1.5 years ago (on a third party site) and the scroll wheel was dying. I rang up support and they sent me a new mouse in a matter of like 2 weeks. didn't even have to send back the old one so now I still have a mostly functional backup mouse in case the new one dies.

I just bought that Blue Compass mic arm after the one that came with my cheapo mic got bent to hell. My kid really wanted to sing let it go.
The arm is ok, but the tension in it, even backed all the way out, is super high for how light my mic is compared to the massive Yeti it's meant to hold up.
But the price was right, so I'm just going to suck it up.
