    In this video I cover a review of the recently installed Fenrir bar end mirrors ($65 on Amazon, link is below) and CXEPI Brake and Clutch levers ($35 on Amazon, link is below). After installing these mods (install videos below) I took the 2017 Kawasaki Vulcan 650 S on a ride to test the vibrations in the mirrors and handle bars and various speeds and functionality of the levers.
    These mods will work on all model years of the Vulcan 650 S (2015 - Present). The mirrors worked perfectly with very minimal vibration at high speeds and are much better than the stock mirrors. Visibility is also very clean and clear with the mirrors, its just quick look down to see what is behind you and you still have clear view of what is ahead of you. The bar end mirrors can also be mounted above the bars but I kept them below for the cleaner look. I may try mounting them above the bars because sometimes the mirrors hit my knees if making full sharp turns at low speeds.
    The levers allow for quick rapid shifting of gears and reduce the pull force needed so less strain on the hands, great for people with hand pain. The clutch lever worked perfectly through all gears up and down and there was no issue with the clutch sensor. The front brake lever worked perfectly and had no issues activating the tail light. Overall, I am very happy with these mods and I highly recommend them. Leave some comments below if you have any questions!

      That's awesome! Glad the videos helped. I love the boards too!! I may change my setup to extended reach position so will have to adjust the angles of the boards a little bit. All part of the fun of tinkering with the Vulcan.

    I did the same setup, I'm a bit to big for it I guess, the mirrors hit me in the knees when doing low speed maneuvers. I'm going to use longer bolts and run the bolts through the original bar ends and play around with it to see what I can manage

      @@Kamdorian I got some M8x110mm bolts, probably 30mm longer than I needed, but spun the mirrors upwards and installed them with the stock bat end weights and it's all good now. I don't like the look as much as below the handlebars, but function over form for me.

  • @Darktidejg31
    @Darktidejg31 Před 5 měsíci +1

    Could you get a longer screw to keep the bar end weights? That way you get better mirrors with no added vibrations? Best of both worlds? All amazing mods, bike look great.

    • @Kamdorian
      @Kamdorian  Před 5 měsíci

      It could be possible yes. However I have no issues with vibration. The weight of these bar end mirrors are close to the weight of the stock mirrors.

    You should practice going to the left side of the car in front of you at stops so when a cager comes a crashing in you have an escape route.

    • @Kamdorian
      @Kamdorian  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Great tip I appreciate it!! Do you mean lane splitting and being right next to the car?

    • @forrestnome9521
      @forrestnome9521 Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@Kamdorian No. Lane splitting is illegal in NJ. That would be lane filtering to go the front. I don't trust doing that bc NJ drivers hold grudges and try and hit you. When you come to a stop always set your bike to the left or right of the rear bumper ahead of you and keep an eye out for the vehicle behind you coming in to hot and if so you can easily pull off to get out of the target zone.

    • @Kamdorian
      @Kamdorian  Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@forrestnome9521 yeaaa lane splitting is illegal and I never do it for that exact reason that cagers hold grudges and go wild road raging. I see what you mean now always good idea to have escape route so staying on left or right of bumper means I can easily pull out if I see a cager coming fast on my rear. Thanks again and ride safe!

    • @Kamdorian
      @Kamdorian  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes there should be a threaded hole inside the bars after you remove the stock bar end weights. Check the 6 minute mark of this video czcams.com/video/MnQjeLdtQIg/video.html it shows the bracket and screwing in. Remove your bar end weights first to check what the inside of the bars looks like first then order these mirrors.
