    In this video I go over the step by step process to remove the current fender from my 2017 Kawasaki Vulcan 650 S and install the Chrome Glow Fender Eliminator LED light. This totally changes the look of the bike and gives it a much more aggressive feel. The LED light includes a red running light, brake lights, yellow turn signals, license plate light, and hazard lights. I am using the clear LED option but Chrome Glow also sells a smoked light version (not sure if this impacts visibility of the light so I went with the clear option). Links to order this light are below.
    The installation is fairly easy just follow the steps and take your time. The hardest part is aligning the LED light bracket to sit perfectly flush with the rear fender, trial and error is needed. The kit includes everything you need: LED tail light, brackets, posi-tap connectors, zip-ties, reflectors for the license plate, and easy to follow instructions.
    Towards the end of the video I show the light in action in daylight along with some exhaust notes from my bike! Also a sneak-peak at the next mod install on my bike!

      @@omairsyed thanks I also was looking for an install video and couldn't find one so I decided to make the video myself lol. So the lights were synced fine just by plugging them in normally. My bike does have a relay installed already for the power outlet mod so the relay might be helping with the light sync but I am not sure. Relay is cheap and easy to install. I went with the clear light because I was worried the smoked light would have reduced visibility. It takes some trial and error of placing fender on lining up the light then remove fender and slightly tighten the light then place fender back on to confirm alignment. I did that a few times. Tighten the bolts under the light first so then you only use the adjustment screws to move the light front back left or right. The adjustment screws are on the top of the light. I got a question do you need a fender eliminator bar to put a universal rear light and license plate on the bike

    • @Kamdorian
      @Kamdorian  Před rokem +1

      It depends on what comes with the universal rear light and plate mounting equipment. The stock Vulcan has a terrible metal extended fender underneath the stock tail light assembly that has to be removed before mounting any aftermarket parts. Once removed you are left with 3 holes in the rear fender that can be used to mount any taillight as long as it's the right spacing for the holes on the mounting equipment. The taillight I used is made for the Vulcan 650 so it fit perfectly. There's some other options out there that fit perfect as well. Which light are you trying to use?

      I like the low profile new fender especially because it shows more rear tire.

      You are 💯 wrong. It is horrendous. Looks like a car bumper. The eliminators are much more sleek.

    Is a led relay required for connection?

      @Kamdorian  Před 2 měsíci

      Not required but does help with reducing hyper flash in the turn signals. Amazon sells the relay for very cheap
