Have you thought about doing 100% Achievements on Deathworld speedrun? Would be fascinating to watch the balance of hitting timing of train and lazy basterd while fending off biters, then late game outposts among the biter wilderness
Lazy bastard on a death world is an absolute pain. I wanted to get back into the game and decided to give myself a bit of a challenge with that combination. Lazy bastard slows your initial expansion down so much to the point that the moment you get assemblers the first two you plop down are likely for gun turrets and ammunition.

i have a question for Nefrums, why dont you have underground belts and splitters in your Mall ? you are always short, robits always ask for them, why do you handcraft them when you can be doing something els? 1 stack of each is more then enough

This is really impressive😮😮😮 judging by the skill with which you make these builds, it feels like you could do it sub 2:30 h or even faster😮 I have no clue if that is possible😅 I am seeing so many green and even golden splits in this run, so I guess that it is super hard to cut even shorter. I am looking forward to more speedruns from you (especially 100%, this one is really amazing)
His goal for Death World is 3 hours. The default settings record is 2:19, set by Nefrums 18 days ago. I think it's pretty safe to say that Death World adds more than 11 minutes, so with this build (which is a slightly smaller and more military focused version of the DS build) 2:30 doesn't feel realistic to me.
@@laremere i understand, that the human factor is included, but the more he plays, the more he remembers the build (just look at those fantastic inserter placements) That is why it feels to me like in some time WR will be shorter (including the default setting run). In general, my theory is this: Nedrums makes small mistakes in this run (mentioned by him, not the chat), after a certain time he remembers them. Judging by the time loss for them, quite a lot of time could be cut. (I don't want to diminish current WR which is almost sub 3h, it is fantastic)
@@Gnomaana I think that it would not be insanely long, but more like super tedious. Even if you can make a new blueprint for smaller patches and somehow make it work, clearing biter bases and defending the outposts would be super annoying and just not worth it to even try.
Ddrjake is currently attempting it. He got really close already. He's not that good at Factorio but no one else has done it and he wants to see it done. He doesn't do it in single session either but doesn't save scum so it's in one run.

the community allows it since its too easy for 1 small mistake at the start/midgame to ruin runs in the endgame

Out of curiosity, would it be plausible to attempt a 100% run on a death world?
It would take an absurd amount of time. The ore settings would make it so the green circuits would take FOREVER.
