The Nets in 2013 seemed to have a bleak future ahead of them after Billy King's failed superteam experiment. But under Sean Marks, the Nets were able to build their superteam through incredible contract moves that allowed them to free up a ton of cap space allowing major players to play for them. We are yet to see this team at its full capacity as injuries continue to plague them but it seems evident that this new Nets team is incredibly dominant.

I still get notified on my Facebook memories on the anniversary of that dumbass trade. I knew THAT DAY, back in 2013, that that trade was a horrible move for the Nets and our organization. It's sad because one of my favorite Nets teams was that first Nets team in Brooklyn and hated getting rid of the Kris Humphries, Gerald Wallace, and MarShon Brooks and of course so many future first round picks.
Been a nets fan since 2016 and my favorite player on that team was Jarrett Allen I really wish he was still here but I will remember his amazing blocks I just love to watch defense more than offense. I will always be a nets fan 4 ever even through another rebuild.

Russell really gave us hope.he made brooklyn look like it had potential.still got my russell jerseys.he set the stage for kyrie and company to give us a chance.
it sucks what happened to Lin in BK he was gonna really break out in his first yr while he only played 36 games he was very impactful in those games and the team looked good with him leading the charge he had Kenny Atkinson who was the only coach in his NBA career who actually had faith in him and played him the right way. My heart dropped when he got a crappy patella tendon tear opening night 17-18 he was having a good game too.

I think the most significant move was Houston giving away Harden for so little, they didn't even keep any of the players from the trade. But the superteam is injury prone and hasn't got a chance to develop chemistry, which means the degree of difficulty is higher for them. Due to this reason, I think they deserve some respect if they win this year

The nets are one of those teams that nobody cares about but whenever a star player goes there, (LeBron, Harden, Giannis, etc) everyone then wants to join the team. This is probably the reasons why half of the teams in the NBA (like the cavaliers) are even relevant.
