How I Built this Baseball Shadow Box (the Easy Way)

It has easy to make details that make it pop. The shelves have a small hole in them to stabilize the baseballs. It will free stand on a desk or hang on the wall. It has a very strong wire to hang it. The recessed backing makes it very strong. baseball

Nice work. I have a good friend asking me to do this type project for her. She has five boys that were in baseball and hockey. She also has softballs for a couple of them. I'm just getting started in woodworking and thought this would be a major undertaking. After watching this I think this would be a little easier. I was having issues on how to keep the baseballs in place. Your idea is great. Thank you for posting such a very detailed project, you have help boost my confidence on maybe trying to do this for her. You have a new subscriber.

Thank you Greg for your kind words and subscribing. One suggestion to make this a little easier is to not use miters on the corners. Butt joints will work fine. The back adds a lot of strength to to everything.
