Absolutely masterful work sir, truly well done!
Great instructional video! I'm looking to try to re-upholster mine but I've never tried before! Feel much more confident to try it now!
Have at it. You will learn so much. Good luck.
What an incredible video! I'm new to this hobby, but this is my next project. Thank you for the great explanation.
Good luck on your journey. Try something new with each project.
I really like your method of tightening the cables. Is there a specific name for the "tensioners" you used?
Eye bolts and corner brackets I bought at Home Depot.
Fine Craftsmanship Hoss. Thanks for the shim trick on the leg. I learned something new today. But I'll probably forget. Thanks for taking us along. I am milling for a pie safe at the moment as well. I hope it turns out as nice as yours.
Thank you for the kind words.
Hell yea that turned out really great and who doesn’t like to stick their finger in a box😂 I love innuendos, it’s the little things in life
Thank you for watching.
This is the second time that I have come across this video, enjoy you precise explanations throughout the build . I have only started woodworking four years ago you inspire me to be a better woodworker patience is the key thank you.
Thank you for the kind words and thank you for watching.
Great video brother
Thank you for watching.
How can I get that box
Thank you for watching. I don't have them for sale. This was only a how to build video.
Hi Ron - congratulations. This is one of the best Tensegrity Table builds I have seen. Do you take commissions?
Thank you for watching. I normally just do it for the fun.
@@RonMulletWoodwork Ah c’mon. It WILL be great fun 😄. I have a pair of very elegant, white, classic, Bang & Olufsen Beoplay S3 pentagonal speakers that will look fantastic on top of a taller (18”) version of your tensegrity table with a smaller pentagon instead of square top and base in white. I will design it and send it to you for your consideration. 👍
What saw are you using? Do you like it? Any complaints?
I use a Jet contractors saw. I love it. Thanks for watching.
15:25 "I'm sure most of you have figured out how all this works anyway." *Me:* Still trying to figure out how it works. Lol
Thanks for watching. Sorry for the confusion.
@@RonMulletWoodwork not a problem. I'm glad you showed how it worked at the end. It reminded me of my favorite "magic" trick from when I was a kid: a disappearing coin box. You put a coin in a slot then close the box, which pushes (slides) the coin into a hidden compartment within the box. When you open it again, the coin isn't there. And to magically make it reappear, you have to turn the box around without your audience noticing, open the box from the other side and voila! The coin has reappeared! It was my favorite trick because I didn't have to do any sleight of hand movements. My fingers were (and still are) too short to get that to work. Anyway, your box is a lot better not only because of the quality but also because you can make larger things "disappear" besides just coins. This is definitely on my wish list of "to-do" items. I have to get more tools (especially a saw) before I'll be able to try making though. 🙂
Nice work Ron.
Thanks for watching.
I really like this build. You are a great teacher!
Thank you for watching Amy.
Ron, a great job on that clock. I have the plans and have started on it. I like the way you were able to make some cuts.
Thanks for watching Jim. Good luck.
Beautiful Ron, would you have plans available for this project?
Thank you for watching. No, I don't.
I’m curious where did you get the tile?
I'm sorry, but I don't remember. Thank you for watching.
Love your woodworkery, but you play fast and loose with the witchcraft. Stay safe.
I will beware. Thank you for watching Kevin.
Great content and it looks great thanks for posting
Thank you Bradley.
thankyou
thank you
Thank you for watching Walter.
You're a genius
Thank you for watching Dan.
hi , where do you get the tensioners form
I bought all of the hardeware at Home Depot. Thank you for watching.
I don't know how you don't have way more people following. I watch entirely too many youtube videos on building boxes and this is one of the best hands down
Thank you very much Michael. I appreciate your kind words.
Does yours get really hot... almost immediately?
No. I have never had a problem with heat. Thanks for watching.
😻 *Promo SM*
Do you sell these? Love how it looks.
No I don't. Thank you for watching.
You're very right about this being cool 😎
Thank you.

Great video
Thank you Giu.
Really nice build!!! Love the jigs you use.
Thank you for watching.
Beautiful design and amazing work
Thank you.
Sir what are the dimensions?
I'm sorry. I don't have them anymore.
Nicely done as always, Ron. I like your commentary as you build, as they usually include some cool tips.
Thank you very much.
I have replaced most of my equipment with link belts. It also helps to replace aluminum pulleys with steel pulleys. That is the icing on the cake for vibration.
Sounds like good advise. Thanks for watching.
The link belt video shows someone taking it apart and putting it together by hand, I assume the person in the video was an Olympic thumb wrestler - pliers are the way to go.
LOL Tom. This was my first link belt and your advise is spot on. Thanks for watching.
Really cool engineering and ingenuity 👏🏼 I’d love to reinforce this concept for a chair.
Thanks for watching. The wood connection joinery will need to be extremely strong.
You might not off seen it but on screen I could see a big difference that’s money well spent thanks for sharing this one it’s good to know this product is out there
Thank you Bradley.
Even Rockler knows their pricing system is a ripoff 🤦🏻 Good simple, yet telling comparisons with no fancy tools and fluff!
Thank you for watching.
I put them on my drill press and band saw too. They run much smoother too.
I agree. It is a good long term investment.
What an amazing difference. Worth considering! 👍
I think it's worth the money long term.
Thanks for showing this . Ive been through lots of designs and like this one the best so I'm making this box for my granddaughter and you said the final demensions are 14W x 9H x 7 D. With the face dimensions of 9H I can't figure out the draw widths and the top section using 1/2" separator and 3/4" bottom section. Can you give me the top and draw widths that will add up to 9" using 1/8" saw blade thickness.
Good question. I wasn't clear that the front starts out at least 9" wide. Make all the cuts starting from the bottem and you will end up with the right dimensions for the drawers etc. Then you can cut the remaining width to what ever total dimension you want. Then you cut the back and sides to matching width. Good luck.
Teşekkürler
İzlediğiniz için teşekkürler.
Thanks so much for the great instructions. These will make great gifts for my grandkids!
Thank you for watching.
Mr Mullet you make great videos and projects. I have watched every single video, and have learned how to do some new things. Keep up the great work 😊
Thank you Charles for watching. I appreciate your kind sentiment.
Hi Ron, great vid, any chance you can share any info on the tension screw that you used pls?
Thank you for watching. It is a 2 inch eye bolt ran through a small angle brace with a nut to adjust the tension.
It is a magic! And nice woodworking job!
Thank you.
Excellent!
Thank you for watching.
