As we stand on the brink of the Daybell trials, I'd love to know your thoughts. How do you feel about the potential death penalty for Chad?.. and Lori's recent courtroom antics? Remember to subscribe for continuous coverage of the Daybell saga and other true crime stories.
Is it accurate that death penalty inmates get better treatment, food etc? I saw a documentary in which a 'lifer' inmate killed someone in jail because he saw the death penalty inmates getting better treatment. This definitely turns me off supporting the death penalty, as it often takes decades to go thru with the death part.
While I mostly agree with Chad's lawyer about Lori being the Alpha dog (and likely serial murderer going back to to her youth), that doesn't mean he's entitled to a lighter sentence than her necessarily, imo. She got her deal and he'll get his own deal. In any event, he knew what he was doing - he chose evil. He was not under s 'Storm' spell. He was under an evil spell.

Idaho just faild to execute a man on death row for 50 years, because they couldn't find a vein. They implemented the firing squad last year. Why wasn't he in front of a firing squad? Chunkface will be found guilty imo, but he'll die on death row. Idaho does everything they can to put it off. As for what I believe about DP, it doesn't matter. Each state will do whatever they want.

Narcists crave attention (self-importance). Even negative attention is better than no attention. Her ability to annoy people with her flirting, smirking, laughter and displays is her way of assuring herself she still has control, that she is still alive, and still can move the world. It is all delusion, but in her mind it is very real. I hope Chad takes a plea before the trial, and that Lori is found guilty of killing Charles and attempting to kill Brandon. It will be good to see Justice for these victims.
Did you see that Idaho had a serial killer (Thomas Creech) who was scheduled to be executed today but was unable to carry it out due to inability to find a suitable vein? They tried 8-10 times to find a suitable vein. So they sent him back to his cell. They didn’t execute him by firing squad because they didn’t have a facility where this could be carried out. Not sure what city in Idaho is able to provide that type of execution.

Dear Linda. My best friend in grade school was raped and strangled at the age of 12 way back in 1984. Her killer was found guilty and sentenced to death. His execution was not carried out until 2011 ! Her family and the state endured appeal after appeal - this is how the government makes everything so much worse for victims and their families, it's almost like the proponents of the Death Penalty are being punished by the opponents of it who are the political majority in most American States, even death penalty states.

I thought it kind of weird the attys arm around her chair and her smiling so big and batting her eyes looking at him and gettingg so close to him. I have a gut feeling she's played her "poor little helpless princess me" an evil seduction trick, on him and she is seeing him now as her " hero and rescuer" and maybe he's seeing himself as that also. I’ve been listening to this case from day one. What discusses me the most is how blatantly evil these two people are. I wish Lori had gotten the death penalty and I would love to see Chad get it. And yes, I know our judicial system takes so long for all the appeals to go through, but these two individuals are not even human. Trash has more meaning than these two people.

I was against the death penalty until had children. The mere thought of someone harming one of them brought out a vindictive side of me I'd never seen before. I would like to see some way to shorten the delay between sentencing and execution, BUT still leave enough time to ensure a valid guilty verdict. How long should that take? I don't know, but the multiple decades many of these criminals hang on seems too long. An interesting statistic to have would be how many murderers that do get out on parole end up back in prison. What's the percentage? Thanks for the video, Linda!

Thomas Creech's February 28 execution was halted after the Idaho Department of Correction execution team was unable to set an intravenous line after an hour of repeated attempts. Mr. Creech remained strapped to the gurney and conscious while unsuccessful attempts were made to access veins in both arms and legs.Feb 29, 2024

If a murderer gets a prison sentence instead of death, as far as he is concerned, he won, he is still living. As for the person who said they "realised" that the death penalty wouldn't bring her father back, that is meaningless, what on this earth could ever bring him back? The lack of critical thinking here is disheartening to say the least.
I think its unfair to say it lacks critical thinking. It's an honest opinion from a victim and what they considered (and did not consider) justice.

A lack of critical thinking leads to the chaos we see today. Chaos is the new norm, and it is full of people who don't use their brains and are emotionally immature, another recipe for chaos. IMO it’s SO wrong defendants can choose not to be present at their trials. Miss Lori Legend in Her Own Mind and equally appalling Adam Montgomery. Cowards. Hope they both get a really hard time in prison, a recurring taste of what they did to their beautiful children.

I think she does it out of revenge toward those that dislike her. Now that she’s locked up there is not much more she can do, which is fabulous.
