    Lori Vallow Daybell is currently on trial in the deaths of her two children, Tylee Ryan and Joshua "JJ" Vallow. While the legal process is ongoing and no official diagnosis of psychopathy has been made, some of her behavior and actions may be indicative of psychopathic tendencies.
    Psychopathy is a personality disorder characterized by a lack of empathy, remorse, and an inflated sense of self-importance. Individuals with psychopathy often engage in manipulative and deceitful behaviors to achieve their goals and may be prone to impulsive and aggressive actions.
    Some of the behaviors associated with Lori Vallow Daybell that have raised concerns about her possible psychopathy include her apparent lack of concern for the welfare of her children, her manipulation of those around her, and her seemingly callous demeanor towards the deaths of her children.
    In addition to these behaviors, forensic psychologists may also look for other indicators of psychopathy, such as a history of criminal behavior, impulsivity, and a lack of remorse for past actions.
    It is important to note, however, that a diagnosis of psychopathy can only be made by a qualified mental health professional after a thorough evaluation. As such, any discussion of Lori Vallow Daybell's possible psychopathy should be approached with caution, and we should await the results of the ongoing legal proceedings before making any definitive statements.
    In forensic psychology, other indicators of psychopathy that may be looked for include a history of criminal behavior, impulsivity, and a lack of remorse for past actions. It is important to note, however, that a diagnosis of psychopathy can only be made by a qualified mental health professional after a thorough evaluation.
    It is necessary to wait for the results of the ongoing legal proceedings before making any definitive statements. Nonetheless, Lori Vallow Daybell's possible psychopathy can't be ignored given her behaviors and the nature of the case.
    True crime fans are fascinated by stories of crime, particularly those involving mysterious circumstances and complex relationships. The case of Lori Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell has all of these elements, making it a particularly compelling story.
    The case involves the deaths of Lori Vallow Daybell's two children, Tylee Ryan and Joshua "JJ" Vallow, as well as the deaths of Chad Daybell's wife, Tammy Daybell, and former wife, Lori Daybell's former husband, Charles Vallow. The circumstances surrounding the deaths are shrouded in mystery, and the involvement of a religious cult and allegations of supernatural beliefs have added an additional layer of intrigue.
    Furthermore, Lori Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell's behavior throughout the investigation has been unusual and often contradictory, leading to speculation and theories among true crime enthusiasts. The couple's refusal to cooperate with law enforcement, bizarre social media posts, and the discovery of the children's bodies buried on Chad Daybell's property have all added to the intrigue surrounding the case.
    In short, the case of Lori Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell has all the elements that make true crime stories fascinating to fans of the genre - mystery, complex relationships, and unusual behavior. However, it's important to remember that these are real people and real tragedies, and while it's natural to be curious about such cases, it's important to approach them with empathy and respect for the victims and their families.

    Lori Vallow deserves the death penalty.

    • @HapticFrequencies
      @HapticFrequencies Před rokem +11

      Yes, probably, but that was taken off the table when she entered an Alibi Defense. All that means is that she claims she didn't know & wasn't present during the murders. She's claiming she was in her apartment with Melanie Gibb & David doing a podcast. But, I think Chad's lawyer is having a coronary right about now. We just re-established Firing Squads for the death penalty less than a month th ago.

    • @LadyLuck13
      @LadyLuck13 Před rokem +4

      @@HapticFrequencies not strictly correct. The judge took the death penalty off because prosecutors handed over evidence late. Lori wanted a speedy trial so they couldn't delay case any longer. Her lawyers didn't have time to go over evidence so to try to save a mistrial they took death penalty off the table .

  • @beastshawnee
    @beastshawnee Před rokem +17

    Exactly true. My dad was also a narcissistic psychopath. Very extremely abusive and yet seemed normal to most. Everyone said he was the “greatest guy”-and he was to them. But home was hell and he tried to murder me multiple times, drove me in front of oncoming cars at red lights when I was the only one in the car-and That was rare to be alone but he did it 5 times that I recall. My grandma realized it and said “Richard is trying to kill Barbara.” Mom didn’t believe her -neither did I back then -He tried to suffocate me-pillows on my face and his full body weight on my head- and he tried drowning me multiple times but he kept getting interrupted or he just failed and gave up. He didn’t want me to really figure it out. I could hear people screaming at him sometimes to let me up and once a man ran out to punch him. that was the last time that I remember him really holding me down there like that. He’d dunk my brother quickly but I learned how to hold my breath like a pearl diver with all that. I could hold it so much longer than my friends. And I had asthma but sheer will power made me. Anyway he was insane and I knew it by age 8. But yeah-he NEVER thought he was wrong about any of the stuff he did. When he was in his 70’s he was ranting about my niece who he wanted to kill (about some argument 30 years previously) He was so angry he was spitting when I walked in the room and said “you can’t just kill people) And he screamed that he HAD THE RIGHT to kill anybody us kids, his grandkids and even his great grandchildren because he had used his genetic material to create us so-he could kill us. I laughed and said “yeah-good luck with that.”. Neither Loti not Chad thinks they did anything wrong. They ARE insane but people will say it’s no excuse-and it’s not. But yes you can be insane and also do financial crimes. These people act mostly normal. My Dad never stopped being crazy for one minute ever but sure some days were way worse than others. But there was no point in me telling anyone because zero people would have believed what I lived thru back then. At least I never believed I was to blame for any of that mess. Some kids internalize that. Instead I internalized my mom’s criticisms of me and she was just trying to minimize me as a truth teller…But I am over that now. I am none of the things she said.

    In her compartmentalized mind she didn’t kill her kids cuz she didn’t she had her brother do it out of eye sight. She then had to poison him because her brother was one compartment her kids were another compartment and compartments are not to know of each other and everytime she saw her brother she was reminded of the kid’s compartment with her brother dead now both compartments are locked inaccessible. She would eventually have to kill chad compartment too. She didn’t kill him before arrest because she was deluded into thinking the world was gonna end and she needed someone. Psychopaths are also narcissists therefore everything revolves around them, they think they’re better than others around them, hence chad won her attention because he told her she was a goddess! Watching her in the court room gave me cold shivers all over my body! I had a student once who was a psychopath, and he just did whatever he wanted to do in spite of any rules, laws, or even a thought about anyone else at all. One day I allowed the class to play basketball, and this kid would physically hurt people to be able to get the basketball and make some points. It was very dangerous to play a game like this. We went on a fieldtrip, and his mother insisted on helping to chaperone it, thank goodness, and he was running around stealing things from outdoor vendors where we went. He apparently got into trouble frequently for breaking into houses to steal things. He just had no recognition or care for any restraints of any kind that applied to whatever he just wanted to do at whatever given moment. I perceive Lori Vallow Daybell as more of a sociopath. I don't think she's that blind to understanding the restraints and laws and things like that. She can get others to do what she wants and work around laws and rules so that she can get away with her crimes. I think a psychopath is capable of doing a lot of very bad criminal things but is likely to get caught fairly quickly. But I do think that Lori Vallow Daybell is closer to being a psychopath than most sociopaths. I think she's more daring and less able to really perceive the needs of others in the least. I don't think she does perceive that there are laws and restrictions that apply to her as well as most sociopaths do, even though she's not completely blind to this fact.

    You are correct. She is pompous in where she feels she did nothing wrong. She is almost taking and considering herself as the “victim route” and I pray the jury sees right through all of that. Her sister summer jail call proved it all. She admitted she knew the kids were dead for months WHEN she admitted how she has been “crying on her hands and knees” and nobody has seen it. They were “her children nobody knows the pain” blah blah. And then she said she was on the beach in Hawaii getting married TRYING TO MOVE ON IN LIFE. To me she slipped, she admitted they were dead and she knew it and did nothing. Never let police know, and just as her sister said if Lori wasint in jail she would have continued on with the gig and nobody would know they were dead. Heather daybell chads sister in law has come forward saying how they had plans to put a mobile home over top of the graves in his backyard. They never wanted nor expected for those kids to be found. Praise God for shining light on this awful darkness. May justice be served for these poor children

    People were saying, “Oh, she’s going to care when they come get her at 4 in the morning to to be taken off to prison.” Does she look like she cares? She DOESN’T CARE! She hasn’t exactly been staying at the plaza hotel lately and yet she maintains that same glib smirk, with that unaffected stare. She’s delusional and she’s evil. She truly believes she’s special. That she’s the exception to EVERY rule. There is absolutely no rewiring how her brain believes her own sense of grandiosity and importance in the world.

    P.s I’ve just read your profile and want to say thank you for your input, your an amazing young man, inspirational actually and also proof that trauma like what you’ve witnessed has not turned you into an abuser! I hate that those who have been abused and go onto abuse use this as their excuse, I was beaten up throughout my childhood by both my parents, I know what it’s like to be beaten by dog chains or the sweeping brush or the tongs of the washing machine or jumped on, but I’ve not gone on to abuse others, I’m so against violence against people/animals, I’m a nurse, love my patients, don’t get me wrong I still hate my dad even though he’s passed away about 20 years ago now, don’t think I will ever be able to forgive him, I was about 8 years old when I became his fix! However I may not have become an abuser but i allowed my ex partners to beat me up, they were jealous and controlling but that’s all behind me as I’m a different person now, stronger and look back m and acknowledge that I didn’t value myself because of what happened in my childhood right through until my teenage years where I had fled from home for the last time while my dad was throwing me against walls in the hall…life is good and I hope it’s good for you❤

    Yes. The fact that she’s indignant is the biggest indicator to me that she firmly believes she’s just an instrument of God and no one else gets it. Imo, she shows TONS of Capgras Delusion symptoms, compound that by narcissism and psychosis, and it would explain nearly everything. Trauma bonding to beliefs to shield herself from the guilt of the horror she’s responsible for.🤷🏻‍♂️
    I still am shocked she laughed at a devastated Colby on that jail house call.
    I keep talking to people who are like “awww she knows what she did is wrong.” I honestly don’t believe she does.
