- On June 02, 2016 the Airbus A321neo prototype conducted some brake tests on a wet runway. The flight testing was executed in Germany at the airport of Hamburg Finkenwerder (EDHI). Enjoy this compilation featuring two landings and three takeoffs.

Ich danke Dir! Der war übrigens extra wegen des schlechten Wetters von Toulouse nach Hamburg gekommen - die brauchten eine nasse Bahn für ihre Tests. Als es dann trockener wurde, ging es zurück nach Toulouse.

Sehr schön bei dem Wetter, da haz sich das Filmen gelohnt. Airbus Testmaschine gab es erst eine in Graz, leider unangekündigt und der A350 war auch nach wenigen Minuten wieder weg.
Danke Dir! Ich hatte zum Glück auf Flightradar gesehen, dass der aus Toulouse unterwegs ist. Hat sich dann auf jeden Fall gelohnt hinzufahren, wenn es auch eine nasse Angelegenheit war.

Ich danke Dir! Das war quasi eine kleine ILA in Hamburg :-D Komischerweise sieht man im Video kaum, dass es die ganze Zeit geregnet hat. War auf jeden Fall kein Vergnügen, da 90 Minuten auf dem Hügel zu stehen. Aber das konnte ich mir ja auch nicht entgehen lassen, wo ich schon mal dort war.

Ja, das hat wirklich nicht viel Spaß gemacht, da im Regen zu stehen - waren rund anderthalb Stunden. Aber das wollte ich mir doch nicht entgehen lassen.

At 4:16 the PW engines on the plane kinda sounded like the PW JT8D. Anyways, big thumbs up for this thing!
Hector Zambrano the sounded almost identical to the PW2000 which somewhat does resemble the JT8D. Search it up its crazy how close they sound.

That huge bypass ratio would make up for some very powerful thrust reversers. :P
Wie immer, die Neuen und guten Sachen kommen bei schlechtem Wetter raus ;-o) Der lange ist natürlich noch besser, zur ILA kam nur der 320er. Sieht schön aus auf der nassen Bahn so!
In diesem Fall war es sogar mal gut, dass es geregnet hat. Der war nur wegen der nassen Bahn von Toulouse nach Hamburg gekommen - die wollten unbedingt Tests im Regen machen. Als es dann abtrocknete, ist der wieder Richtung Toulouse abgehauen.

Auf den Aufnahmen sieht man den Regen echt gar nicht so sehr! Man kann in sich bei der zweiten Landung am ehesten vorstellen! Sehr schöne Aufnahmen sind das doch geworden! Daumen geht dafür ganz weit nach oben!
Ich danke Dir vielmals! Ja, ist merkwürdigerweise kaum zu sehen, dass es die ganze Zeit geregnet hat. Hat jedenfalls nicht viel Spaß gemacht da zu stehen, aber die tolle Show hat dann doch dafür entschädigt.

finally no more buzz saws on the a321 those aircrafts used to be a heck of a best while taking off its sounds similar to the 777 though
These Pratt Whitney GTF engines don't have a buzzsaw sound thankfully . Unfortunatelly LEAP version engines do have it.
Absolutely love this plane! Does anyone know besides this and the A320 neo, will they be making an a318neo and a319neo?
As far as I know they are not planning to build an A318neo. But there will be an A319neo. However it's not very popular, only 58 orders till now.
