To anyone asking about the Delta A321, it's visible right as liftoff in the group of parked A320 family aircraft (towards the back) around 18:20!
+Awesome Shizzle There's only one fan, but yes, this is the geared turbofan. It's called a "reduction gear" not a transmission, because even a single ungeared shaft is a transmission as well.

What an absolutely BEAUTIFUL JET...!!! And i love the quiteness of those engines. The older A320's use to have such a heavy drone/whine upon take off. These engines are whisper quiet. And of course that's what everyone wants on a flight whether it's a short 3hr trip or longer for that matter. GREAT JOB AIRBUS...!!!

Mega M Super quiet. Doesn't seem to make a huge difference, but I'm surprised that they didn't implement chevron on the nacelle like on other modern engines.

Wow those Pratt & Whitney PW1000G engines are so quiet just right amount of noise for long flights which can be tiring due to high noise but those engines are wonderful.
Pratt & Whitney my new favorite engine manufacturer.

+YULplanespotting Keep in mind that given the unusually low gross weight the flex thrust used was unusually low. Also the engine is designed to put out 35k thrust on the a321neoLR. Also we have yet to listen to a 33k CFM leap. Dont lose hope! :D

The neo is nice but I think it takes away the A318/19/20/21 buzz which I love about the planes, this is definitely nice and it reminds me a lot of the GE 90's at takeoff.
watch out for the a330 neo wish you can make a video with it😀

Sounds like some older engines at idle even makes more noise than the PWs at takeoff thrust.

Superb video as always and congrats on scoring this special occasion flight. Btw there's a lot of back and forth how to judge the pitch. How did it feel too you as a very frequent flyer? But then you are obviously in business class, Did you have a sit in the eco rows?
Great video however I hate to go against the majority however I am not in love with the engine sound ( my opinion), just not enough buzz for me! Great vid and lovely plane non the less!
