      That was the whole appeal. The point of a university facebook was to put a face to your peers in an annual book. Mark Zuckerberg transformed that into a digital platform that updates rather than remains static for a year.

      If anything I liked Mark better than the Wesmatch guy. They both look like they would be the stereotypical "nerd" image everyone has in their minds though. But Wesmatch seems a bit more smug about it to me and I can't imagine what he's grinning so much about.

    it's honestly heartbreaking and makes me sad that what mark has become and how much void he is of emotions. I remember having watched this interview back in 2004 and seeing how much lively he was. Looking at him today, I just feel sad to see how much he changed. He used to be exuberant but now he is nothing but a shell of his former self.

    One of the things that makes this so fascinating is the reporter and interviewer that's been at CNBC for decades, she interviewed Mark so early on and still reports for the news today. Really amazing just how much tech has grown

    This is very inspiring. It was just a small app connecting people at a school.     This is amazing to see. The first guy monetized way too soon and obviously went for the quick buck. Mark on the other hand had a bigger vision and up until today he doesn't charge a single penny to his users. That's why he won.

    I remember having to join "facebook" in 2008 because I was in college and my groupmates wanted me to join so we could communicate online. I needed my student ID# to join. Only reason I ever joined facebook. later everyone and their grandma joined and I felt suckered into keeping it lol
