Went to a TLM today. It was a Saturday mass. I was so impressed with the reverence of everyone, all women were modestly dressed. The real presence of Jesus and the Holy Spirit hit me differently. I loved it
I think with TLM, since it has been reduced to a secondary and suppressed role, the attendees of TLM go there voluntarily because they love it. Before the liturgical reform of 1970, TLM had a lot less reverence in many parishes as it was the mass EVERYBODY had to go to whereas now people who attend TLMs are going because they're enthusiastic about attending a TLM. Personally I'm not a fan of how Francis is actively suppressing the TLM, and I believe that the reverent Novus Ordo should be codified as the only acceptable Novus Ordo while still giving parishes and diocese the ability to hold TLM if they want. However, I come from a country where Catholicism is a minority religion, and in my particular parish, we do not get many attendees for mass. A TLM would be all but impossible to pull off in my parish as we just don't have the people or resources to hold it. The Reverent Novus Ordo provides a medium to allow parishes which are smaller in activity to hold a reverent mass if they can't pull off a TLM. Personally I'm not a fan of how Francis is actively suppressing the TLM, and I believe that the reverent Novus Ordo should be codified as the only acceptable Novus Ordo
@Nieden-Pilled I am a generation who attend both of liturgical forms, the problem was when TLM was the only mass, people were not well cathecized. Now people with digital knowledge, i.e. younger people, who easily study the history and faith, go to TLM with utmost reverence than in my childhood the last time we had TLM. The solution is not to change it to NO to be easily understood, but to teach people how to participate.
The evening Sunday Mass at my old parish which is the youth mass { Lifeteen as it was called} was so crazy because of the guitars and drums, which just breaks your eardrum, and the music will round your head when you leave Mass. I hated the Teen Mass for that reason. I am so grateful that I have found the Latin Mass, there is no turning back!! I am so happy that I received the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Latin Mass.
meaningless comparison using the worse example of novus ordo. Why dont you find a clip of how pope JP 2 celebrated novus ordo? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy going to latin mass a lot but I don't agree the new mass is not a form of most sincere and powerful prayer. The centre of the mass we celebrate is Christ. Full stop.
One you can actually understand what he is saying and the other is just speaking a language I can’t understand or connect to. What is the ultimate aim of a mass ?
I enjoy both Latin and norvus ordo. I think for this example the video picked the most generic fast non emotional priest they could find. I have witnessed many Novus Ordo masses that are beautiful. Both forms are extraordinary! There is nothing ordinary about celebrating the covenant of the last supper.
@@adude849 Ok, child, listen. Take note carefully so that you do not appear an idiot who talks without knowing and thinking. Listen so that you learn and grow. Do not mistake tradition as frozen and a once and for all thing from the past. That is traditionalism. Tradition is living and dynamic. It is growing, evolving, and as the definition of the term goes, it is handed down from generation to generation, from culture to culture. That also goes with the Catholic faith, like the Mass. It has evolved and continues to evolve. Just think, if it did not, the Mass would still be held in Aramaic, the language of Jesus and the apostles, just like during the Last Supper. However, it evolved as truly traditional (not traditionalism; notice the “ism” which denotes uptight and radical extremism). Shortly afterwards when the church grew it was celebrated in Syriac, Coptic, Armenian, and Greek. It was only much later that the Church started to celebrate the Mass in Latin even as these other languages were continued to be used. Through generations and centuries the languages, the ritual forms, and ceremonial orders of the Mass evolved while it kept its essence and meaning of being the Eucharistic memorial sacrifice of Jesus. The Mass has been duly reformed by the 21st ecumenical council, the Second Vatican Council. The old pre-Vatican II Mass (Vetus Ordo) has given way to the Vatican II Mass (Novus Ordo) and is now the unique (meaning only legitimate) Roman Rite as confirmed by Pope Francis in Traditionis Custodes. So, shed off your error and mistake of “traditionalism” and be truly “traditional” as a genuine Catholic should be (living, growing, maturing, not frozen and dead). Stop being “traditionalist” and be “traditional.” The Catholic faith essentially is tradition and traditional, not traditionalism and traditionalist. Note the difference and remember this: Tradition is the living faith of the dead; traditionalism is the dead faith of the living. Ok, child?
Will never go back to Novus Ordo!

Oh my! What a difference! I only attend the TLM
Traditional Latin Mass is so beautiful! I wish my church done that instead 😢
The guy in the left was making up a canon.
Wow! I attend a NO parish but my priests are very reverent. I don't know if I could handle the priest on the left.

Lol. I’ve never had a Priest like this
Yes not the same. Tired of being nice about it
Seems like the Novus Ordo priest is totally bored of his job 😂😂😂
Super bro ❤❤
This guy isn't even Novus Ordo. Reverence is key to the fact of Transubstantiation.
It's a very good comparison.

stage performer ata si father sa Novus ordo missae..🥱
The first priest looks drunk lol
Whoa that was rough
We need to do something about this
TLM 🙏❤️🙏
Upload many videos please bro 😢😢❤😊
Ah yes, the classical show a bad novus ordo, imply that is the norm, show a Latin mass and say “see!!!! The novus ordo is bad!!!!”
Also, the focus of the Novus Ordo is the sacrifice, and make it more available to the laity. These bad priests are what deviates from it.
🎈🎈🤡🤡 Head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes !!! 👨❤️👨🧸

When I witness extreme abuse, I walk out, but I announce to the whole Church loudly why I am walking out. I've done it multiple times before.
Titles and images are inversed
Definitely not the same! The Old Mass is like worshipping a frozen dead God while the New Mass is worshipping the living God.
A modernist
@@adude849 and you? A dinosaur!
