In the Old Testament God had people sacrifice animals, the shedding of blood, for the forgiveness of sins, God required it, so it was done. When Jesus died on the cross, his blood was shed for our sins. He was the last sacrifice needed, for He is the lamb of God.

The video did answer the question. Having faith in God was what saved the believers before Jesus Christ's time. Remember, the Hebrews practiced Judaism, at that time, which is a "belief in one transcendent God" who communicated directly with such chosen people as Abraham, Joseph, Moses, and the other prophets in the old testament.

I generally agree with this video accept that I firmly believe OT saints all the way back to Adam and Eve knew a lot more than they are given credit. Remember too that God spoke to them in person, I believe pre-incarnate appearances of Jesus Christ. Something happened BEFORE God clothed Adam and Eve with those coats of skins from some innocent animals. Now what could that be? Oh yes, God Himself would have to have slain innocent animals, shedding their blood, and then making coats of skins for them. Although not specifically stated in the passage it is certainly implied and I don't think it is taking something out of the passage that is not there. I believe all truly saved OT saints KNEW that God Himself would one day come as their Messiah, the Anointed One Who would one day bear their sins in His own body and take the wrath of God for their transgressions upon Himself. See Isaiah 53 for starters. The concept of imputed righteousness is clearly found in Pslams 32. Job, the oldest of the OT books knew that "My Redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth." The concept of Messiah being God who would bear our sins one day I believe started with Adam and Eve. Certainly nobody has ever been saved accept through faith in the shed blood of the Lamb of God, period

The sinless Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world. His blood was shed for the forgiveness of sins of Adam and Eve, and their descendants. Abel offered the sacrifice of a lamb, and his blood gained the life of God, for it spoke, even after His death.
Some of their offsprings took matter into their hands, as there was no law stipulating punishment for sins, thus, Cain and Lamech began the mystery of iniquity, which lasted for 70×7 years Genesis 4.
That generation was wiped out Genesis 9, and the laws began with God laying some legal foundation of man to be his brothers keeper, and would answer for him.
Noah sacrificed to God after the flood and the blood of the sacrificial animal availed for whosoever would believe God.
Then, everyone turned their back on God, until God found Abraham who made himself available to God.
Thus, God provided Himself a Lamb- for a generation of Israel, as Abraham had told Issac by faith. Genesis 22:8, since God held Himself accountable for killing the first sacrificial animal, for the salvation of the lost soul of man. God became liable, to righteously judge and condemn Himself, so He got the second person of the Godhead- Jesus Christ, the image of God, that was the model for the creation of man Genesis 1:26-28 (man lost this glorious image at fall, and became as we are today Genesis 5:3).
Until God finishes dealing with iniquity, by paying for it, for loving man, so much, sin will still be evolving.
God made a covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Israel, to become His model man, but the devil thwarted His every attempt, by manipulating the essence of man, and perverting his genetical makeup. Thus we have giants, werewolves, mermaids, centaurs, minotaurs, dinosaurs etc.. ( they were all wiped out- Caleb and Joshua and their descendant, king David and his men wiped out the remnants of the giant).
The devil became livid with rage, and proceeds to wipe out all children during the time that prophecy about the salvation of man would happen- Egypt- Moses; Bethlehem- Jesus Christ; and now, worldwide, when the Messiah will return to pick up and ransom members of His body, God's purchased possession, and to become God's ultimate Creation - Jesus, the Head, and regenerated man, His body, to sit at the right hand of God the Father, in heavenly places. (Lucifer used to be the closest being to the throne of God, but now, man, even flesh that he so dispise, will be higher than him, since he was cast out from heaven Luke 10:18-19, and God gave authority to and His glory to man, John 17:22; Isaiah 42:8!
(This is too much for satan to handle, so he now knows he has limited time to exact vengeance on man, thus, this tumultuous times!).
Since Abraham, Israel went to Egypt, to pay for Abraham's sin by going into Hagar- Sarah's Egyptian slave, for 400 years ( 430, because Moses didn't coordinate with God before acting as the Messiah, so he acted 10 years prior to due time, and spent 40 years in training, and was finally tested at the burning bush, how not to act before God speaks, and to exactly as He commands, no matter how senseless Exodus 4.
Israel got out of Egypt- by the blood of the Lamb- a Lamb for a household.
But Moses forgot to ask God what to do with them, but listened to his father in law, Jethro, and brought about God's Jealousy, so He made an unscheduled appearance to Israel, for which they were not prepared. So, Israel rejected God Exodus 19, and this removed the cover they also must now each provide a sacrificial animal for each of their sins, or pay with their lives.
Thus, all who died in obedience, were kept in Abraham's bosom, from Abel, to the thief on the right side of Jesus, that believed on Him.
God had no dealings with everyone else, Deuteronomy 4:19; Ephesians 2:12, and they will be judged by their own conscience, according to their beliefs Romans 2:14-16, and that, by Jesus Christ.
Israel disobeyed God, they sinned and must finish the 70×7 term, outside of the promised land.
Daniel prayed to God to remind Him about the due time, but Israel as a nation wasn't ready.
So, God made him to shut the book, Daniel 12:4, and brought in the ultimate dispensation of grace to usher in the Kingdom of God among His beloved Israel- as their Emmanuel.
But they had gone back to Egypt as they had threatened Numbers 14; Jeremiah chapters 41-44. So, for them to be forgiven, they must cross the river once again, signifying completely dead to sin, and a new life in God through the Lamb that was coming to pay the ultimate price for sin, as at the beginning- Jesus Christ ( He was taken back to Egypt, so He can trace back the journey for Israel, crossing both the Red sea, and the river Jordan, as the Son of God, and Son of Man Abraham, delivered from bondage of judgment.
That was why God sent Jesus Christ, the express Image of the Godhead, to finish all transgressions unfortunately they rejected and killed Him. So, this ushered in the mystery that God had hidden from the foundation of the world- Jews and Gentiles becoming one in Christ Jesus John 1:12-14; Ephesians 2:14; Romans 8:16-18! Both now, by grace through faith in the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, become the sons and daughters of God, even so, by FAITH!
Anyone who misses this great salvation story, will have to pay for their sins, by themselves- going through the tribulation and resisting the angry Satan, who will demand their head!
In His righteosness, God made provisions also for this group Revelation 11:2a.
We all get to search for all these things, to confirm if it be so, or not.
The scriptures for the dispensation of grace was already shut in Luke 417-20, and it was finished on the cross John 19:30. There remains 1 week year for the mystery of iniquity to complete, even Jesus Christ said it Matthew 18:21-22! Then all iniquity will cease for all eternity. Man will be ransomed, redeemed, regenerated restored to glory, and reconciled with God!
We are about to complete the cycle of the circle- we are around Genesis 6 at this time, which will usher in the day of vengeance of our God Isaiah 61:2; 63:4; which will lead to chapter 5, during the millennium Isaiah 65, and final judgment Isaiah 66.
Then, back to the new heaven and the new earth, with man, Jesus Christ, sitting at the right hand of God, where no flesh can ever be!
And satan and his minions become a spectacle for those pilgrims that must now, go yearly to Jerusalem, and now, they can observe the sabbath of God which was completed in Christ Jesus Colossians 2. He became the Rest, or Sabbath for whosoever would believe God through Him, in this dispensation! Hebrews chapters 3 and 4!
Take a long overdue REST, IN JESUS CHRIST!

What’s he gaining here, other than causing conflict and confusion among his people? Isn’t he all knowing? Doesn’t he already know the fate of everyone anyways? But yet it’s up to us to make the decision that will dictate whether or not we spend an eternity burning in hell?? The entire concept is completely contradicting itself and is literally impossible for all of it to be true. The best things Christians can do is stop telling people that they must be “saved” by doing this one specific thing. Instead, let’s leave out the judgement, spread love, and try and make the world a better place instead of just talking about it on Sundays, which is what Jesus would want us to do.

He gives us all the choice to live sinful or to follow His Son Jesus Christ and walk in His ways. Jesus' 2 commandments for us are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and strength and to love one another as we love ourselves. That is the law of Moses in 1 sentence. Jesus is asking that we make Him Lord of our life, allowing Him to direct our choices. He's not going to force you to make the choice. He only wants those who are willing to follow Him. What you said are just overused emotional phrases used to describe who God is and what his agenda is, which no one has the right to say. You believe God only wants those who choose him. But I ask again, why is that? Does he think so highly of himself that he only wants those who worship him to spend eternity with him, even if they are no better than a nonbeliever and they commit the same sins over and over. Why create human life in the first place if that is how it’s going to be? It sounds pretty narcissist to me. Every person in the world experiences good and bad to some degree. We all face temptations whether we are believers or nonbelievers. Life happens to us with or without God, so what makes being a believer of Jesus or anyone else so special to God if the people in the world go on just the same with or without him? You can live a “godly” life without any religious affiliation. But you need a special badge to get into heaven? Not buying it, and not a god I would want to be grateful for.

God's merciful and compassionate character suggests that grace is applied to them as well (Matthew 18:14; Romans 5:18-19). In fact, Jesus called the children to Himself, actively taking a role in their well-being (Matthew 19:14). With these factors in mind, we can affirm that an infant's or mentally disabled person's inability to articulate faith in Jesus does not prevent God from saving him or her. And God, in His compassion and mercy, would draw these individuals to Himself in heaven based on the sacrifice of Christ for all sins.

Why do you assume that sin is a moral infraction, rather than how Scripture describes it - as the measure of our fallenness… the extent to which we fail to reflect the glory of God in whose image we were created?
If your understanding of ‘sin’ as a moral infraction were correct (and you’re not), then you would have to admit that Jesus were guilty of having committed and act of sin when he healed the blind man on the Sabbath (4th Commandment ) in John 9… Yet, Jesus was without sin (2Cor 5:21), only because he and the Father are one (Jhn 10:30) - as God incarnate, Christ is the perfect image bearer of the Father
Biblically therefore, sin is not a moral condition, rather, it is an ontological reality
And by implication, why do you assume that the Law is a moral imperative rather than how Scripture explains it - as God revealing something of himself to His own? The Law is neither a capricious nor is it an arbitrary set of rules as Euthyphro suggested - rather, it reveals something of the person of God to His own (Psm 145:17/Psm 119:182, Psm 31:5/Psm 119:142, Psm 25:8/Rom 7:12, Gen 21:33/Psm 111:7,8, 1Pet 1:16/Rom 7:12, 1Jhn 4:8/Rom 13:10, Mat 5:48/Psm 19:7, Jhn 4:24/Rom 7:14, Deut 32:4/Rom 7:12, 1Jhn 1:5/Prv 6:23…)
“I gave them my decrees and made known to them my laws, by which the person who obeys them will live” - Ezekiel 20:11
Scholars tell us that the Law was given to Moses around 1446 BC, some 4,500 years AFTER God spoke everything into existence by the power of His word and well after sin first came into the world with the fall of Lucifer… Sin therefore was in the world looooong before the Law was given to Moses!
The Law (as the measure of our fallenness) therefore does not CONVICT us for the things we do - rather, it EXPOSES us for what we are - SINNERS (Gal 3:24)!
So, we are not sinners because we sin - rather, because we are sinners, we sin - BIIIIIIIG DIFFERENCE!!!
What you are preaching, is nothing less than ‘bootstrap salvation’ which intends to subordinate the sovereignty of God to the ‘sovereignty of man’ - you deny the fact that salvation is entirely an act of God’s sovereign of grace, not because of anything we do (or do not do) lest we have cause to boast and so, deny God His glory - Rom 9:16!

Brother, I hate to spoil your day but the altar call was an American invention, along with the entire notion of being “saved.” The altar call first appeared in the massive tent revivals of the Great Awakening in the 1800s and were used to provide an emotional response or catharsis as the ancient Greeks called it. It allowed for audience participation and really helped open up wallets for those preachers to collect massive offerings . Still works today, look at the mega churches. No prophet or messenger ever preached or hinted at such as a belief. It makes no sense at all from any kind of perspective. This idea was concocted by sinners for sinners and was inspired by the devil because it inspires evil, which is evident in almost all Christians today since they believe they will not pay for their sins, which is laughable. No rational human being will ever buy this devilish belief. They have only preoccupied themselves with false hope.

No one before this false claim believed this. If this was so important for our salvation then all the Prophets should have reported this.
Now factor in the following if we were to take what you said is true.
Jesus being god died for a sacrifice.
Who was this sacrifice to? If God then he is just sacrificing himself to himself and if it was Satan then what type of God is so week that he has to bow down to Satan.
He being God and all knew he was coming back in three days. So is this really a sacrifice ?No it's not. It's like a video game when you know you have two lives.
Also a real sacrifice would have been that He died permanently and never to come back even in his second coming.
God of Abraham is a merciful God and can forgive just like he forgave the people of Nineveh.

After the Christian church was formed, virtually every war involving Christians had a religious origin. Bible contradiction on death of Jesus
How many times Jesus died ONCE OR TWICE?
Explicit verses that Jesus died once
    Roman 6:10
    English Standard Version
For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God.
    Then Hebrew verses 7:26-
For such a high priest indeed was fitting for us, holy, innocent, undefiled, having been separated from sinners, and having become higher than the heavens
    Hebrews 7:27
    Berean Literal Bible
who has no need every day, as the first high priests, to offer up sacrifices for the own sins, then for those of the people; for He did this ONCE FOR ALL , having offered up Himself.
    Hebrews verse 10:14
    Berean Literal Bible
For by one offering, He has perfected for all time those being sanctified
    1 peters 3:18
    New Revised Standard Version
For Christ also suffered for sins ONCE for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, in order to bring you to God. He was put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit,
    But in revelation
    13:18
    English Standard Version
and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain (killed)
This verse is explicitly saying Jesus killed before the foundation of the earth its direct and explicit so how many did Jesus die
some one might say you reading from one version
If you look at the most popular version the
    New King James Version
All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb (Jesus) slain from the foundation of the world.
This even more clear the lamb Slain before creation of the world
So how many times did Jesus die one or twice
As from passages in Romans , Hebrews answer be once but in revelation it would be twice
    Now 2
opposites to Romans and Hebrews if god inspired this did god forgot that lamb was already slain thus he died TWICE
Can god make such a mistake if on the other hand god revealed in the book of revelation
Did he forgot that lamb will be killed in the future rather opposite to
    Past before foundation of earth
either way this conundrum can not be solved unless Christians denie the passages in Romans Hebrews Peters or revelation

So does that make the disciples God as well?
As for the preexistence issue well all of us preexisted in God's knowledge. The God loved Jesus before creating him and therefore this is the glory that Jesus had with God...
      John 17:24
Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
by quoting John 17:5 to prove Jesus' deity. As a matter of fact, just read two verses before it we see that Jesus is not God...
