  • Can you lose your Salvation? Is it possible for a person’s name to be erased from the Book of Life? When questioning eternal security \ once saved always saved, and whether or not a name can be erased from the Book of Life, the Bible has the answer. In this video Pastor Nelson with Bible Munch looks at Revelation 22:19, concerning the Book of Life / Tree of Life mentioned, and explains why losing your salvation, or having your name erased from the Book of Life in the Bible, is not possible.

Revelation 22:18-19 ESV - *"I warn EVERYONE who hears the words of the prophecy of this book:* IF ANYONE *adds to them,* God *will ADD to him* the plagues described in this book,
AND if ANYONE *takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy,* God *will take away* HIS SHARE IN *the tree of life and in the holy city,* which are described in this book."
This says God will add plagues described in this book TO people, *OR* take away their SHARE described in this book FROM people, *FOR THEIR DISOBEDIENCE.*
God taking away the eternal REWARDS still seems very detrimental to me.
This was NOT the ONLY time blotting out names was mentioned.
Exodus 32:33 NKJV - "And the LORD said to Moses, 'Whoever has sinned against Me, *I will blot him out of My book.'* "
Psalm 69:28 NKJV - "Let them *be blotted out of the book of the living, And not be written with the righteous."*
Revelation 3:4-5 NKJV - “You have *a FEW names* even in Sardis who have NOT defiled their garments; and *they* shall walk with Me in white, for *they* are worthy.
*He who overcomes* shall be clothed in white garments, and *I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life;* but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels."
It said *a FEW names have NOT defile their garments (vs. 4).*
They'd be who overcame (vs. 5).
If the *FEW* are who *overcome,* what happens to the rest of the church?

Scripture relays much more than what folks like @@jasonreed2116 philosophize. We should rather trust Christ's work *AND His WORDS.*
*Christ* described *what we have DONE* and *what we DID NOT DO, when we get judged.*
Matthew 25:41-46 NKJV - “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, *you cursed, into the everlasting fire* prepared for the devil and his angels:
*for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;*
*I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’*
Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and *DID NOT minister to You?’*
Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, *inasmuch as you DID NOT do it* to one of the least of these, *you DID NOT do it to Me.’*
And *these will go away into everlasting punishment,* but the righteous into eternal life.”
Matthew 25:1-2 NKJV - “Then *the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to TEN VIRGINS* who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
Now *FIVE of them were WISE, and FIVE were FOOLISH."*
Christ described that *the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to TEN VIRGINS; FIVE of them were WISE, and FIVE were FOOLISH.*
What does Christ say about the *unprofitable servant?*
Matthew 25:30 NKJV - " ‘And *cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'* "
Galatians 6:2 NKJV - "Bear one another’s burdens, and so *fulfill the law of Christ."*
Faith believers are instructed to *fulfill the law of Christ.* We seem to have our *own WORK to DO, & examine.*
Gal. 6:4 NKJV - "But *let each one examine his own WORK,* and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another."
Gal. 6:9-10 NKJV - "And let us NOT grow weary *while DOING GOOD,* for in due season *we shall reap IF we do not lose heart.*
Therefore, as we have opportunity, *let us DO GOOD to all,* especially to those who are of the household of faith."
1Timothy 4:10 NKJV - "For to this end *we both LABOR and SUFFER reproach, BECAUSE we trust in the living God,* who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe."
The Apostle Paul said we *LABOR and SUFFER BECAUSE we trust in God,* right?
Matthew 7:24 NKJV - “Therefore *whoever HEARS* these sayings of Mine, *AND DOES THEM, I will liken him to a WISE man* who built his house on the rock:"
Matthew 7:26-27 NKJV - “But *everyone who HEARS* these sayings of Mine, *AND DOES NOT DO them,* will be like a *FOOLISH man* who built his house on the sand:

These scriptures encourage faith believers to *humble themselves, REPENT, watch, pray, and be ready...or else.* They present the reality of punishment for believers that practice sin; they ought NOT do so.
Luke 12:45-48 talks about servants of the Lord. Isn't *getting beaten with MANY stripes punishment?*
Aren't the *disobedient servants* that KNEW their Lord's will, *made distinct FROM unbelievers* who didn't know, and also did things worthy of stripes?
MANY stripes denotes punishment is *worse on them* than on those who *did not know His will,* but did things worthy of stripes. They got FEW stripes.
Matt. 24:45-51 mirrors Luke 12:42-48. In Luke 12:48 the wicked *servants who did NOT their Lord's will* share in portion w/unbelievers (hypocrites).
Matt. 25:40 has unprofitable servants cast away in sadness, pain and/or suffering.
Luke 12:40 NKJV - “Therefore *you also be ready,* for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
Revelation 19:7 NKJV - “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and *His wife has made herself ready.”*
Luke 6:46 NKJV - “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ *and NOT DO the things which I say?"*
Luke 12:42-44 NKJV - "And the Lord said, *'Who then is that FAITHFUL and WISE steward,* whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?
*Blessed is that servant* whom his master will find *so DOING when HE comes.*

Galatians 6:7 NKJV - *"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."*
Romans 11:20-22 NKJV - "Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and *you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but FEAR.*
For if God did not spare the natural branches, *He may not spare YOU either.*

I think if you clicked on this video for the main reason most of us did, and didnt get the reply you expected, its because you have to understand how your free will and faith(either to this world and the evil spirts that inhibit and stain the Lord's creation and glory) (Or to God, trusting in Him full heartedly), works. Its definitely always a choice to abandon God, but someone who is born again, has sworn allegiance to God, not just in words, but spirit too, will always choose God. It's hard to deny someone who is so persistent and kind. Its hard to explain with just words, but this is what it means to be a true Christian, from what I can understand.

The world is broken. Sin rules the earth. Being a born again Christian - the fruit of The Spirit is: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Self-Control, Gentleness. Not everyone who says “Lord Lord we cast out demons in Your Name” is His. You will know a tree by its fruit. Being deceived is the strategy of satan. Is it right to blame other Christians for you being deceived? Or is it your responsibility to look in The Word of God & Pray to God (rely on God - not people) for the answers you seek. Remember there is a lot of false pastors, church goers, prophets, because an angel of light can also deceive them - always Test the spirits - by making them repeat - “Jesus Chris came in the flesh” . Even Christian’s are at various locations of their growth in God. Be patient & remember all of us fail at one time or another, pray 🙏 for them, & for yourself. ❤️

Thank you for this very clear answer. I'd never noticed that verse before though I've read Revelation many times. As a young Christian, I had been taught that I could not lose my salvation by excellent Bible teachers in England, but later on, I attended in France a Free Will Baptist mission, and was very confused by their teaching that salvation could be lost based on Hebrews 6 and 10. Especially as I went on afterwards to marry a non Christian and stayed away from the Lord for a long time: I remember thinking if my first teachers were right, one day I will return to God, but if the Free Will Baptists are right, I have now lost my salvation. As it turned out, I did return to the Lord, but, though the Bible clearly teaches eternal security, verse such as Rev 22.19 and the Hebrews chapters are challenging.

True, we are sealed for the day of redemption, but that does not mean that we can’t walk away of our own accord. Yes, no one can pluck you from the hand of God, but then again…, you can jump out of His hand by your own volition.
Salvation is a daily walk. People can’t be saved and act like the Devil and expect to make it into Heaven.
We must be careful with what we tell people. Blessings, Pastor Nelson.

If someone only "Supposed" their name to be in the Lambs book of life then it was never really there. Therefore it could not be removed. As for no one snatching us out of the Father's hand, that is true. But, by choice, free will, someone can leave the Father's hand and return to the world. No one needs to look any further than the life of Demus in the Bible and how Paul said he had gone back out into the world. In short, in order to go to heaven you have to want to go to heaven.

Obeying the Gospel means that you accept that you are guilty in front of God, because all of the works we have done means nothing in front of Him because of our sins. There was nothing we could do in order to be saved neither to keep the salvation .
We are doing good works because we are saved, not to be saved. That faith that saved us will eventually be confirmed by good works.

That’s how you got it wrong. Can you show me one passage in the whole Bible that says we don’t have to obey God in his word in the gospel because we are saved by the grace of God? You cannot find that. On the contrary, because of the grace of God, we ought to live a righteous, sober and godly life before God because we justified by his grace (read Titus 2:11-12). But because you confused justification with salvation then you think that we don’t have to obey the gospel because of his grace. No, you’re wrong. Grace is God's providence of his will that is freely given to men to allow and enable them to live by the gospel (Titus 2:11-12). Because of the grace of God, men will no longer subject themselves to the Jewish Law in order to be justified before God (Galatians 5:4). In the dispensation of the grace of God, anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ is justified of his faith without doing the deeds of Law (Acts 13:39).
Justification requires you to do no work (Romans 5;4-5; Ephesians 2:8-9). You only have to believe in the Lord and you will be justified of your faith. That is justification because of the grace of God. But justification is not salvation in the context of its entirety. It's where you begin your Christian life as a believer. Salvation requires you to *OBEY* the gospel. In that sense, you have to do works to obtain it (John 15:2,6). But because you don't know the difference between justification and salvation; hence, you think and believe that you don't have to obey God and to do works to be saved. In conclusion, you don't have to do works to be justified by God. You only have to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. That's justification and it is exactly what Ephesians 2:8-9 & Romans 4:1-5 are saying. Salvation requires you to live by the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-2). In that sense you will have to do works when you obey the gospel. It is the fruit of your faith (2 Timothy 2:21). You are lost to believe that you don't have to obey God of his commandments to be saved. Jesus himself said "but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments"(Matthew 19:17). He even said that "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me" (John 26:21). Your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ must produce the fruits of his commandments. That’s what you do be saved- obeying God in his word.

And you said that *_”we are doing good works because we are saved, not to be saved.”_* and you added that *_”that faith that saved us will eventually be confirmed by good works.”_* That’s how wrong you are. We do good works because of the commandments of the Lord, and the good works that we are doing is the result of the faith that we have in him (John 15:5-6). Good works do not confirm our salvation. It confirm our faith. If we have no good works that means we don’t have faith in the savior. We are not doing and following his teachings and commandments. And you keep saying that you are saved. You believe that you are saved. No, you are not. There is no salvation given at this time yet, not until the day of the redemption of purchased possession comes (Eph. 1:14 which is the resurrection).
Eternal salvation (or eternal life) is a
promise to all obedient believers (although spoken of as a present possession due to the certainty of it), but the actual possession of everlasting life is reserved in heaven. Peter said we are begotten again unto a lively hope to "an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, *RESERVED* in heaven for you" (1 Pet. 1:3-4).
There is no salvation in the fulness of its essence given yet at this present time to any believers. What we have now is the *hope of salvation* (see Titus 1:3 & 3:21), not the promised salvation. Complete salvation is only given at the redemption of the purchased possession- which is the resurrection (see Ephesians 1:24).
Paul said that if we already possessed this promised salvation, then what is there more to hope for? Thus, if we already have attained our salvation in this present time, then what is there left to hope about? He said that "we are *SAVED BY HOPE:* but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for"(Romans 8:25)? He added, "But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it"(v.26). If complete salvation, which Paul said that believers will only receive when the day of redemption of the purchased possession --or the resurrection comes (Ephesians 1:14) has already been obtained and completed in the believers; does that mean that the resurrection has already taken place? And were the dead in Christ had already been risen to life? Think about that

First pray, then ask the Holy Spirit for discernment, then read Romans 11:20-22, 1 John 5:16,17, 2 Peter 2:20, James 5:20, Hebrews 3:14, Jude 5, 1 Timothy 4:1,2, and Matthew 24:13. It most certainly is possible for a Christian to 'walk/fall away' from their faith. Apostacy (break apart/turn away), on the part of the believer, is definitely present in God's Word.

those are apostates, in the book of Hebrews, they are the ones who continued sinning after being saved by grace, they never truly repented of their sins. in the book of 1 John, those who never overcame went out since they weren't for us, if they were ours they would be with us. This verse is an encouragement for true walk with Christ in the face of tribulations. Those who didn't overcome it means they went away and hence they didn't belong to the fold from the start. Compare this with the parables of the fisher, when threw his net in the sea he caught many fish but when he removed the net many fish went back to the sea remaining with little. The fish that went back to the sea represents the group that never overcame, since they never entered into fishermans boat. Their names weren't in the the book of life from the start. We don't win by our struggles, we do it by the power of God working within us, the Lord knows who are His.

According to Galatians 3:26 to 29, it talks about those who were baptised into Christ and being one in Christ Jesus. So someone who has faith in Jesus, has repented and then been baptised is IN Christ. Romans chapter 6 tells us that those who were baptised into Christ Jesus were baptised into his death, the old self was crucified with Christ and therefore (verse 7) has been freed from sin. In verse 11 we are to count ourselves dead to sin. This doesn't mean we will never sin again but that we lose the desire to sin - in 1 John 2:1 it says 'But if anybody does sin...' and John uses the word IF instead of the word WHEN because we shouldn't expect or want to sin. In John chapter 15 and verse 2 it tells us that Father God cuts off every branch in Christ that bears no fruit - this is someone who is born again but through disobedience does not bear fruit. And in verse 6 we must remain in Christ otherwise we will be thrown away and burned. So if someone continues in sin then maybe their baptism wasn't a burial, so they're not born again. Matthew chapters 24 and 25 give further passages relating to believers going to hell. The false doctrine of once saved always saved is leading many people to believe their salvation is eternally secure when they may be in danger of the fire of hell.

It’s not the same thing as when Hebrews uses the words “willfully sin” which applies to unsaved people rejecting the Gospel. They don’t lose their salvation, John 15 doesn’t say that, and you twisted 1 John too. It’s impossible to not sin while still having the sinful nature. There has been no Christian after being saved that was perfect. Just because John used the word if, or whatever he used was translated to if, doesn’t mean that it is possible to be perfect on this side of life.

@@alil6547 The NIV says of Hebrews 10:26 ‘If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth…’. Hebrews was written to believers, so the context of ‘we’ in v26 relates to believers not unbelievers. In Galatians 2:11-12 it talks about a circumcision that is done in us by Christ at baptism, putting off the body of the flesh. Believers who have repented, and been baptised as a burial of the old life should have no desire to sin, let alone sin wilfully. That doesn’t mean we can’t trip up, which is what 1 John talks about. We should consider ourselves dead to sin (Romans 6). Both of these passages (Colossians and Romans) talk about the mighty work done at baptism in breaking the desire for sin.
John 15 is talking about people that are IN the vine, the vine is Christ, so it is people who are born again. Perhaps you could let go of any preconceived ideas / theology and read and believe what the bible actually says, rather than twisting scripture? OSAS is so destructive because it allows people to live how they want because they have their ‘ticket to heaven’. Jesus came to save us from our sins.

Nop apostasy comes when you openly reject Christ after having deep experience of Him and of Heavenly gifts. it's an unforgivable sin just like Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, according to the book of Hebrews, but very few can get to commit this sin of apostasy, since from the start very few know Him well. This is what Jesus condemned Pharisees in John 9, that since they were not blind(i. e they they were well versed in spiritual matters and knew that Jesus was the Son of God but rejected Him) they have no excuse for sin.
Even Apostle Paul himself considered himself as an apostle born out of time, since he had no direct contact with Jesus. So not many can get to this point.
Remember we are not the one's who sustain salvation, Its God Himself through His power. The Bible says that "I'm confident that he who started the good work in me shall bring it to completion". Hallelujah.

The reason why the way to heaven is small and narrow is because many people don't make Jesus there foundation. Many people think there works saved them. (Matthew 7:22)(Ephesians 2:8-9). So they fall away. Many people also have hardened hearts and worldly desires they don't get rid of.(Matthew 13:1-9) and some think they can come into the faith live worldy (revalations 3:16). But for us in Christ we cannot live in sin anymore because we have the seed of god and are slaves to rightousness. (1 John 3:9) (Roman 6:15-18). But for those who have fallen "they went out from us but they were never of us" (1 John 2:19). "These people honor me with there lips but there hearts are far from me" (Matthew 15:8). But what about scriptures saying enduring till the end?. These scriptures brings condemnation to the wicked and brings decipline and the fear of the lord to the rightous. But always remember. What osas does is it does away with freewill, and the fear of the Lord! The parable of the sower shows that some received the word of God with joy, and because of other things they fell away. The scripture you used in 2 Peter, before it talks about a dog returning to its vomit, it says they were once in Christ.
2 Peter 2:20 For if (after they have escaped the pollutions of the world) through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, (they are again entangled therein, and overcome), the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them (not to have known the way of righteousness), than, after (they have known it), (to turn from)the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
The apostle Paul himself said that if he does not keep his body under subjection, that after preaching to others, he himself could be rejected! Was Paul not a true born again believer? He understood the fear of the Lord, and the fact he had freewill, and that faith was not a one time prayer of confession in Christ, but a daily overcoming of the will of the flesh, and submission to the will of the Spirit of God! Choosing to carry your cross daily, and daily follow Christ! OSAS deceives young believers and those who follow teachers without seeking in the scriptures day and night Gods truth of his word, into thinking they have been forgivin for sins past, present, and future at the time they first believed and ask Jesus into their lives. When the Bible declares that we are only forgiven of sins past, when we come to believe the gospel.(Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins (that are past), through the forbearance of God). Not understanding that Jesus has now become our HighPriest that we now, if we mess up, because of the fact we are still in a flesh and blood body, that we can go to Jesus our High Priest and if we sin, we can confess our sin, and receive forgiveness. Grace is not a license to continue sinning! If we continue to willfully sin, we will reap death! In Proverbs says, that those who confess, and forsake their sin, will have mercy! OSAS doctrine says as long as you ment it when you ask Jesus into your heart. You are forgivin no matter what you choose to do! If you murder, rape, do drugs, anything, it’s all under the blood of Christ! This a damnable heresy! John said, Do not be deceived brethren, those who do righteousness are righteous. Those who commit sin are of the devil! That is why wisdom is the fear of the Lord! For by the fear of the Lord, men depart from evil! Jesus told us over and over we must endure unto the end! We must not turn back! And he told us by his anointed Apostles warning after warning (talking to believers) that we have to finish the race, we have to continue in the doctrine and grace of God, we have to forsake the world, and loose our lives to find our lives! We have to overcome! Lots wife while being saved out of Sodom, turned back, and she lost her salvation! King Saul who was anointed by God, and had the Holy Spirit, because of disobedience was then rejected by God, who took the Holy Spirit from him, and replaced the Spirit of God with an evil spirit! His end was death! Ananias, and Sapphira l who were born again believers, lied to Peter ( lied to the Holy Spirit) because they gave into temptation, and was not walking in the fear of the Lord, and they dropped dead at Peters feet! And what happened afterwards? All the people feared! God knows the beginning to the end, and all things in between. He knows who will endure unto the end, but that does not mean, he has taking away our freewill, and we don’t need to fear, and be careful to continue and obey his word! He chastises us, so we will turn away from doing evil, and do that which is right in his sight, And fear his name! We we’re graphed into the vine. We are told to not be puffed, but to fear! Because if we do not produce fruit, we will be cut off and thrown in the fire. You might be producing now, but that don’t mean the fruit can’t wither and die, if you do not continue in the faith! Romans 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, (if thou continue)in his goodness: (otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.) Your salvation is secure only if you continue in the faith unto the end! Only if you finish your coarse! Does that mean a person who just comes to believe the gospel, isn’t saved and will enter the kingdom if he dies a short time after, like the thief on the cross? No! Nothing is required of a baby! But for those of us who live out our days, as we are taught by Gods Spirit, we are required to walk it the truth that God has revealed to us faith to faith, glory to glory! For it declares in James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. Therefore, do not just think you have no part in your salvation, because you have freewill, and that is the reason, we are told, how will we escape if we neglect such a great salvation! Gods covenant is a contract between two parties. Between God and mankind. God will not break his side of that contract, but we have freewill, and can choose to walk away from it. When God gives the free gift of grace, once excepted, that gift now belongs to whom it was given, to cherish and use as it was given to use, or to waste and throw away! God knows who will endure and obey Jesus word unto the end. But we do not know what trials we will be tested in tomorrow, next week, or next year! Therefore fear God! And don’t think you can’t fall away! 1 Cor. 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. Please read the whole chapter of 1 Cor. 10. Because it warns us that very much if we do not take heed to be doers of what we confess, and continue in the faith, if we turn back to Egypt, we can be overthrown in the wilderness and can be rejected to enter in! In Christ’s Love, I warn you all! Fear the Lord! And obey his word from the heart! Endure unto the end! Because OSAS is a last days damnable heresy!

I'm feeling the explanation. Seems sound.
I still wonder at all the things Jesus said about the vine and branches... and branch that doesn't bear fruit get's chopped and burned. Or the virgins with the oil...
I guess it all comes down to being a true believer. That verse that James wrote about leading someone (among your Christian peoples) back from sin, who "wanders from the truth," though. That gives me pause. Seems like we need to be found keeping in repentance and walking a narrow path if we believe... I wouldn't feel safe living in willful sin.
    James 5:19-20 NET
[19] My brothers and sisters, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone turns him back, [20] he should know that the one who turns a sinner back from his wandering path will save that person's soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.

Those people who twist God's word are your very selves. They don't mention the scriptures that warn believers about willful sin and apostasy. We as believers trust in Christ's finished work, but we're told also to Follow and continue in the faith. Take up your cross daily. Apostasy is possible to any believer, there is no sinless perfection by faith only so you must be vigilant and not fall into temptation, the wages of sin is death; that still applies to believers. Don't think you can just "believe" and go to heaven if you continue in sin. God will forgive you if you ask, but unrepentant habitual sin, God will blot you out of the book yes.

The more I hear opinions on scripture - especially regarding the secret and separate "rapture" of believers, which those who believe in this say Christ can come at any time (completely disregarding 2 Thess 2:1-4 regarding WHAT must take place first BEFORE Christ can return or 2 Thess 1:6-8 stating He will come to give us rest WHEN Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God {in other words He comes to get those that are His at the same time He unleashes His Wrath and at the LAST TRUMPET}) makes me realize that the narrow path and wide path to destruction is glaringly obvious.

The truth of the matter is that everyone will go and sin again after this. The sin is not truly the problem. It is where you put your faith. Most people can understand it this way, IF you put your faith in Christ, THEN you receive salvation, if you then put your faith somewhere else, you walk away from that salvation. It's not that you might sin, because you WILL sin. It's where you choose to put your faith. The Bible talks in 1 Timothy 4:1 about those who depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. It is talking about those who walk away from their salvation. This is a concept that most Christians do not want to acknowledge at all, not even in the slightest. They cling to the false doctrine of "Once Saved, Always Saved". The only thing this doctrine does is give people license to sin. God knows your heart, he knows that you will sin, he also knows if you are putting your faith in him or something else. The danger of the "OSAS" doctrine is that it allows Christians to inch away from God with each sin, and before long, we see that they have moved their faith from Christ, to whatever, be it the sin of the occults or of pride or so on. So what happens if you sin after being saved, nothing, you repent and move on, trying not to commit that sin again. What happens if you continue to sin after being saved and live in unrepentant sin, that is the folly of "OSAS" to which those who have been deceived into believing that doctrine will say "you were never 'truly' saved to begin with. Salvation is a life long process, which is why we are told to keep the faith, endure until the end.

Yahshua - you know Him as Jesus - was born to a virgin, turned water to wine, taught, healed the sick, raised the dead, casted out demons, walked on water, calmed the storm, and fed a crowd of thousands with a few fish and a few loaves of bread, among many other things. He was killed on the cross as payment for the sins of all mankind, three days later He rose from the dead. Forty days later He ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father. He is returning very soon, but before He does, Satan, the devil, is coming to pretend to be Jesus/God. Satan is an angel, and he will have certain supernatural powers with which to try to fool everyone. He will, for example, be able to make fire come down from heaven in the sight of men. He will only be on earth a short time before the real King of Kings, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, returns. When the real Jesus comes we will all be transformed into our spiritual bodies at the same moment. Jesus came in the flesh to offer forgiveness of sins and eternal life to anyone who believes and calls on His precious name!
if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. - Romans 10:9
Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste? For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor. When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me. For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her. - Matthew 26:6-13
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
To anoint your self, the sick, or a building for spiritual protection:
Get a small bottle of olive oil and pour off a small amount into a smaller vessel like a vial or baby food jar. Use the rest of the bottle for cooking. Ask the Lord to bless your vial of oil in Jesus name. Anoint yourself with the oil by placing a dab of oil on tip of finger and touch it to your forehead, and ask the Lord to bless you/heal you. Place a dab of oil on your finger and anoint the door posts and order all negativity and evil out of the house, and order that nothing negative or evil can enter into your home including piggybacking on a person entering, order it to be so in the name of Jesus. Anoint all potential entrances to your home. To anoint the sick, place oil on tip of finger and touch it to the head of the sick and say a prayer of healing over them in Jesus name. See James Chapter 5:14-15.

Your not written in the book of life when you believe, your written in it from the foundation of the world. Not everyone has been called only a remnant. Those remnant will come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, Romans 8. When they believe They'll be added to the Church baptized by the spirit as the Lord wills and adds to his church Acts 2:47. And they that are added are saved by grace unto good works Christ ordained Ephesians 2:8-10. And remain saved on the provision they stay faithful 1 Corinthians 15:2 John 14:15. Then enduring unto the end comes salvation.

Here is the answer as long as you truly believe, and Jesus is your lord and savior you have eternal life period.
If you stop or don't believe, then you do not have eternal life.. we are saved by grace through faith, not if ourselves so no one can boast.
God has decided that we must believe, and only then is the blood atonement applied.
Again always read the Bible in context, is it talking about the apostles specifically or everyone.
Only God knows who is saved or not, because he sees the heart, we only see the fruit.
So just because someone falls away from the faith, does not mean they were never saved.
The Bible dies not say God forces us to become saved or stay saved unless you believe in Calvinism where he has already damed people to hell or blessed them to heaven before they were born, before the cross.
Jesus says people will fall away from the faith that's gospel, it is the remaining Christians job to let them know they can be restored if they repent and stop denying Jesus Christ.
Again let the scriptures not theology speak..

I hate it now. I attacked the Bible with an axe.. even after I had been saved years later.. I Repented. I pray seek the word but I fear I've been removed. I wasn't baptised either.. like I was supposed to be a week after I accepted Jesús as my lord and Savior I cried asked for forgiveness. After my incident. Felt a burning in my chest. I even told them about it. One got saved Repented others laughed at religion.. felt so alone cold that day.

He sees you and is with you wherever you go. I’m not too spiritually mature so I can’t give *good* advice, but I would say to see your pastor about it. I know it’s scary and I’ve had demons in my dreams too, I’m only 14. They scared me to the point where I would be scared in the dark (2-3 weeks). I started to sleep with my Bible and it made me feel calm. Remember God’s promises and even though you might feel like He’s far from you He’s close. He has loved you with an everlasting love and will not let you go. Hold on to Him and keep holding on tight. Again, I would say to see your pastor about it. If you’re doing anything demonic it needs to stop, such as yoga, watching scary movies, etc. Examine what you’ve been doing and see if it is demonic or not.
