- How to forge a tulip… In this forged flower tutorial, I’ll take you throughout the whole process. It's valued at about $65 if you're looking for blacksmith projects to sell.
You can take what you learn from this video about how to make a metal calla lily, and apply it to various types of projects. A forged calla lily can make a wonderful addition to many projects.
Forging blacksmith made flowers is something I do on a regular basis. I enjoy making a blacksmith flower, and like to get creative with it.
What blacksmith forged flowers do you like to make? Do you enjoy making certain forged flowers?
Even if you don’t consider yourself an “artist blacksmith”, you can still have a lot of fun making blacksmith flowers. So why don’t you try forging a tulip? If you’re already forging flowers, tell me your favorite tip in the comments below.
I hope you enjoyed this original tutorial made by me, blacksmith Roy Adams, here at Christ Centered Ironworks. I have quite a collection of blacksmith how to videos at my forging channel. If you want to learn more about blacksmith metal flowers, I have videos on forging a rose as well.
If you’ve got a forge and anvil, and you enjoy blacksmithing, I really think you’ll find something at my channel you’ll like. Thanks for watching this video on forging flower. Have a great day!

Thank you very much! My grandfather used to quickly go make roses for my grandma on the days he had forgotten her birthday. My girlfriend loves tulips so I think this will be a very sentimental piece for the both of us.
God bless you too, my friend. You’re doing a great service to the blacksmithing community on CZcams. Keep up the great work!
Great. Thank you for using millimeter as well👍👍👍
Super! Thank you very much for this video, really appreciate it!
I don’t know if you ever check these but I am just getting started blacksmithing and you are so inspiring. I am 16 and have no talent drawing. If you could, would you please put up a template for the petals? I love all of your videos, keep ‘em coming!
Very nicely done, brother!
Thank you
Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
hi Roy, You said paint and it will bring out the brass highlights. did you mean clear coat?

Saw this video a while back but just finally remembered to go back and watch it. Really cool project! Love it! Thanks Roy!
Linda rosa. Parabéns.
cool👍
I watched you start to put the flower on the stem backwards, you must have heard me yelling at you! 😁
Great work roy
Thanks John :)
Wow that’s cool!
Thanks Rexarthur Ramos!
Not bad for a Buckeye!
Roy, great job. I want to try one of these for a anniversary gift next month. Could you post a PDF template or pattern for the tulip?
Nice flower
Do these attract the sales such as the multi petal roses? Looks like these are faster to make.
I would like to see the shaping of the rose a little slower but never mind, it was just a bit hard to follow. Lovely job mate.
I was surprised you didn't texture with your stump! Looked good from here anyway. Thank you for another good video!
Great project. Going to try it, but Paint? Bees wax maybe? Do the plasma cut edges take care of them selves or do you do a little tapering of the edges with a hammer to thin?
Nice Roy, love it. What do you use for your video editing?
Roy, I hope you have a better standard to metric converter now, 1/2" is very close to 13mm rather than the 12mm. Think wrenches and sockets, makes it easier for anything under an inch for conversion.
Roy, would you mind sharing your source for the tulip blanks? I've looked around and have found several vendors offering blanks for other flowers but not tulips. Thanks.
Do you ever sleep beautiful as always & thank you for your hard work and time God bless keep the fires burning✝✝✝
F F C Rick “Do you ever sleep” is a great question. Seems like every time I check my CZcams he’s got a new video out. I don’t know how he does it. 👍
crystal meth I suppose
Gabriele Magnabosco Very pour choice of words that subject has torn mine and many families apart !!!! The work and goodness this channel brings is what is more needed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ✝ PS sorry for the negativity
Couldn't possibly know about that. I'm sincerely sorry, my dark humor isn't always the best...
Gabriele Magnabosco Thank you for your apology didn't mean to go off , you didn't know of course just hit close to home. I tend to protect good things these days sometimes not always right way forgive me and God bless you hope you have a great day✝
Hey Roy, what do you paint it with? Clear coat right?
Hi, nice vid thanks. What do you mean by painting the tulip. Surley that means you wil be covering the metal and wont see the colouring you have added. Obviously your not doing that. How are you treating it? thanks.
Hey man! Where did ya get that template for the tulip???
Where can I find a template for something like this
I checked out the links that you provided, I can not find the one for the tulip. Could you provide some clarification on this? Of provide the measurements of the one you use? ( diameter and maybe petal tip width)
What kind of paint do you use,
Do you sell the flowers?
Alguna forma para poder comprarte ese tulipan porfabor ?
do you have any templates i can print out for cutting?
We do! Check out our "all templates bundle" at our page www.blacksmithpdfs.com under our "digital downloads" section.

Can u do the full in real time I like to be able to see each step this one was to fast
Go to the video setting and there is a setting called playback speed. set it to .25 or .5 to slow the video down
Were did you get the template?
I bought it, Daniel. Link should be in the description.
wonderful result, but i feel very frustrated as we cant see a thing of your hand expertise as the video go much too fast. too bad. hopefully you may slow down the next one, and yes cut some part to keep a 6-7mn video. All the best.
why the speed up ? couldnt see what you did actually a waste of time watching
Thats not blacksmithing thats fabrication
Might want to look that up in the dictionary before commenting...
