ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS & ADDITIONAL INFO:
Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Evening all! Thanks for joining me for another episode. Today it’s the biggest steak in Texas!
I’ll say no more, other than that I hope you enjoy it, save yourself the trouble of complaining about the cook on the steak 😆, and I’ll see you again on Sunday at a location I’m sure my fellow nerds will love…
‘Til then, stay insatiable!

I actually had to sign in to say this. The reason the chef has them place orange slices, is to be a squeeze topping for the steak. It's lovely, and A1 is just orange and other fruits and spices.
You did GREAT, surprised at the lack of banter on their end (especially since it was quiet in there) and there should DEFINITELY be some kind of wall of fame. CHEERS!!

Spoiler alert 😔
Well there was a lot at Steak.
My uncle did one of these in Iowa a few years back. They totally cheated him too. Brought only half the steak out at first and they REFUSED to cook it any way but extra well done. They also didnt mention that it was only half the steak so when he finished it in 10 minutes he ended up sitting for about 30 minutes before they brought the second half out. Apparently it was cooked at the same time as the first half so it was tough and half cold. During his wait he also ate a plate of fried potatos, 4 slices of texas toast and 4 beers. He ended up running out of time because he had about 15 minutes to finish the cold second half on an almost full stomach. The steak cost $100 if you didnt finish it. And as a kicker it was his birthday and they KNEW that because they brought him a slice of cake at the end of the meal. Total dicks. That place is closed down now.
That doesn’t even make sense if it was cooked why not bring it out together I could maybe see only cooking half in case they can’t finish it so it don’t go to waist but let the people know what’s going on
@@erikrobles5727 to intentionally make him lose so that he has to pay. Clearly the place was ran by penny pinchers and the challenge was just a gimmick to get people in the place and spend a ton of money though deception.
@@erikrobles5727 They were intentionally making the "challenge" harder (pun intended) then it should be. Well done already is hard and dry enough that if you eat too much you choke but to serve it cold as well is just plan insulting to the meat.

I've seen eating challenges where restaurants try to get you to lose by adding extra couple pound of fries and other silly measures. This establishment seems very friendly and actually want you to win. She seems nice and even said that you didn't have to eat the gristle. A lot of these Texan restaurants seem to offer a great deal of hospitality.

@@RackwitzG I mean you can, but throwing out random political stuff is just asking for a fight, especially when its pretty off base. The president has very little to do with small local businesses. The "Price of steak" isnt controlled by him.
Hell, even if you want to say its cuz of the inflation, The vast majority of that is due to the global supply shortage. Again, not really anything to do with the president. Its a global issue, not a national one.

You must be new here, lol.
If you use the grease from sausage, a tablespoon of flour, and a cup of milk/cream, you can make a creamy gravy like that. Once you get the flour to a no lump state, add a few more cups of milk, and simmer till you reach a consistency you like. Salt and pepper to taste, and boom. Country gravy.
Ie a sausage fat roux
You can make an easy gravy with a little soy sauce, flower, and water.
I make this gravy all the time. Not just for chicken fried steak either.

I grew up on eating steak with a white gravy made with the oils left in the cast iron skillet after the steaks, with flour, milk, and salt & pepper. It was usually with a baked potato and a salad. Mmm yeah!

Country gravy or milk gravy. Milk gravy if it was bland, country gravy if it was peppery. Delicious on chicken fried steak or mashed potatoes.
@@Falcun21 - my Mom could never be accused with knowing how to cook using recipes, so she never put a label on it other than white gravy.
I was going to say, my family calls it milk gravy as it's a gravy made with milk, my family does it alot ourselves with both steak and with porkchops. Though instead of potatos and salad, generally with rice and either broccoli or corn.

Our “country” gravy is a bechamel essentially. Just add some extra stuff but the base can be started the same butter, milk/cream, and flour. Butter can be replaced with bacon, sausage, or any other meat drippings

The atmosphere there looks buzzin! 👌
Cobbler is just like a pie, but typically in a square baking dish and sometimes deeper than a pie. Same filling. Maybe some crumbles on top. They served it in a sundae dish with vanilla ice cream on top, most likely because cobbler tends to be quite messy and it's easier contained in a bowl than a plate. Plus most places server it hot with the ice cream.
My favorite aspect of this is when Adam is throwing shade at himself in the narration.
