- Well that was quick! Not even a month past worlds and already 2XKO / Project L has another public Playtest set up for next year. For this one, it'll be Evo Japan - Which runs from 4/27 - 4/29/2024. But also this announcement brings a few more things of note to discuss, and as ever we hope for more info coming soon but might just be getting it alongside the next Demo this time around.

Well, that was fast!... but at the same time it's not happening until April of next year so we have a ways to wait still. But still, very much glad to see more playtests going out and more regions especially getting involved with the game! Plus for Marlinpie to literally say "More information will be announced at a later date" that seems like all but a confirmation this is the time period we will actually get more news too... but as always, we shall see.

- new action indicator 'Hard Knockdown'
- new assist indicator 'Assist Ready!'
- Green charge bar added to the assist icon
- (and perhaps a QoL Change on assists, giving the Tag target a green outline)
- incredible new soundtrack versions

Hopefully a teaser for big things to come in addition to it being announced early
Some great quality-of-life stuff already, love to see it! And good eye man, I didn't catch the new Yas LVL 2 improvements but I'm not at all surprised to see you also noticed the music changes ! lol

And jeah, I'm looking forward to any other new additions they add to the Evo Japan build. It seems outside of small clarity issues the response to the game from fans have been very positive!
Thanks man. Always lousy to get sick, but I've had worse so it's all good! And for sure, that's the stuff thats gonna get polished as they go anyway so if those are the biggest things that's stellar news for how the game is being received.

You and me both man! Seems like it's been longer than it has been really, I guess Yasuo's reveal was EVO but still id love a new teaser of anyone or anything new!
The wait for Evo Japan is gonna be terrible but Im gonna be so grateful for the details we get, Im hyped as hell for this game and I think it absolutely will change everything

Wow, that's a bit of a wait. But at that point; we should get new information of the game, such as an official name hopefully. For the characters: Both Jinx and Illaoi should be fully playable at the new demo, alongside Katarina who hasn't been seen since the alpha build back in game reveal in 2019. It's been four years since the game's unveiling, and we'll be lucky if this game comes out in late 2024 at best. Hopefully there's an announcement of an open beta next year, but I'm not holding my breath.
Yea I think your spot on. It's really starting to look like late 24 at the absolute best, and even that might just be a Beta with full release coming a bit later. Oh well, im of a mind that if it makes the game better at launch then wait and keep getting feedback on these in-person play tests! Much rather it take even longer than them not stick the landing as well as it could.

I’ve been so excited for this game. I really hope we get some announcement for jinx or illaoi. I doubt we will get a completely new character announced, but maybe that’s just me purposely reigning in my hype.
Same man, it's crazy how long it's been already since this thing got fully revealed but I swear the hype just keep growing and growing. My stretch hope would be they tease Katarina again just to confirm that she is still in the game and wasn't tossed along with the old way the game used to play and look.
i'm late but i'm exited to see more footage of this game, i also want to see Jinx and Illaoi, and maybe... just maybe a new champion trailer, if only i could go to japan and actually played it T_T, but yeah that footage is noticably different compared to last time and i'm glad the team was really fast on player response, also is it just me or the game actually faster? like it feels they bumped the speed up.
hopefully there's gonna be one champ that references Sol or Ragna because i want to play Sol in Tag Fighters. Great Video As Always Brother👍
Yea love seeming them clean it up more and more already, always a great sign when they are fixing some of the clarity issues some were having from the Demo before. I saw someone else thinking it was fasting as well, I wonder if that is them actually speeding the game up or maybe just the testers are getting cracked at this point. haha that SHMOOvement.
And I just stole fafnir from Sol for a character vid im working on! lol But agreed, I feel a Sol or Ragna would fit much more than a typical Shoto would here... but who could it be tho?...
@@BruiserMinion we got Stider Hiryu with Talon but i can't think of "Who could be Sol Badguy", there's no one who has things in common with Sol like Gun Flame or Grand Viper.

Yea I think 25 is a safe bet. 24 is definitely possible but might be optimistic, but personally im pretty confident it wont be later than 2025. That would be nuts.... Right?.... lol
seeing some of the gameplay coming out just gets me more excited. Just gotta wait for "a later date" 😅 I need some more of jinx
Yea... there's always a later date. lol Jinx has to be soon though, i'd be surprised if she wasn't in the next update but honestly I was surprised when she wasn't in the demo to begin with. lol Riot keepin us guessing!

Im curious what she actually plays like, I don't think it's going to be full zoner only actually. I feel like she had a straight-up demon flip in one of the trailers plus
the hammer and what not makes me think she might actually have some sauce up close too!

I'm reslly excited for this game but now I'm worried it won't come out until 2025 😬. Was hoping we would get a test stress this December and a mid year release next year.
I have a feeling late next year would be the soonest we get it but more likely do agree its looking like 2025 at this point. However... I hope I'm wrong. lol But who knows! Street Fighter 6 went from playable at events to betas to launch relatively quickly then Mortal Kombat even faster so. Maybe there is hope yet and we just dont know it

For this I would be really really surprised if Jinx isn't in it, that seems just like it just has to happen - This isnt the stage to show like crazy game updates or like a beta so Have her playable, and maybe a trailer teasing brand new Character I think would be the perfect drop for Evo Japan personally.

Riot seems to like to do their own thing a lot of the time but I would be beyond stoked if we are getting something that soon! Either way im excited for the game awards tho so will be watching.
Hello, I'm a Brazilian who LOVES fighting games... and I'm really a faithful follower of riot games and their games... I play LoL, Wild Rift, LoR... and I REALLY want to play Project L, but in In my country, I didn't find any CZcamsr focused on making videos about the L project
so I found your channel, even though I don't understand English... I thank you for putting effort into this game

Agreed, about to put 40 hours in on a weekend when it does finally drop a beta. lol
I feel like they could drop a beta next year maybe towards the end of the year announcing it at EVO 2024. Either before or after Arcane 2 release to ride that hype.
Or maybe it's all just hopium

I think it would still be in their best interest to cast a wide net and drop it everywhere they can. This new gen of consoles has been really weird, there are still very few PS5 and XBSX exclusive games and especially with a huge selling point of PL being free to play would feel off if it was still barred behind an expensive console a lot of ppl still haven't had a need to switch to

I'm a bit hope losing, watched many videos about this game, and all the champions available so far I can see are just Ahri, Ekko, Jinx, Yasuo, Darius. Of course I don't believe that's all they have at the release, but why they keep hiding other champions? I haven't seen any footage except of the 5 above
Maybe holding out for hype building. Some of the fan bases for these characters are massive, even dropping a trailer for Vi could get an insane amount of attention compared to other fighting games and I also think in the past most other Riot games like Runterra and Valarant they keep things very close to the chest until it's just about done then just surprise everyone. Project L seems to be the exception because weve known about it for so long, but I personally think there is a lot going on behind the curtain they just havent shown us yet.

Yea it would be nice to for everyone who wants to get a chance to try the game but I feel like with all these offline tests going on makes it seem like Online Beta next year has to happen at this point.
