Picked up XTEN same year it hit shelves. I'm sure the gun was lovely but I wouldn't know, as the magazines (both magazines that came with it) were awful. They wouldn't even load Sig's own ammunition. I could get maybe 6-8 rounds in before the first round loaded would nose dive and bind up, resulting in the spring tension on all the other rounds being lost. They flop out. Love seeing this review on CZcams! Sig’s night sights look good, but are actually trash. Typically within about a year of selling any of Sig’s guns with these sights, I have customers telling me the tritium lamp(s) died and had to send their slide back to Sig to warranty the sights.
That's strange to hear. My p365 is over 4 years old and the night sights are still bright. My p226 is a police trade-in with original night sights, and they're still pretty bright.

I've learned to be very selective with 10mm ammo. Like you said alot of 10mm is basically 40 in a longer case. American Eagle 10mm fmj range ammo is a good example of this. It's not worth it. S&B and Sig fmj are actual 10mm. There are others but those are the most common I've seen.

I'm a huge Sig fan, but I have no desire to buy this one. I had a chance to shoot a mag of Glock 20 gen 5 and it shot so nicely that I'd go with that one.
The glock bias is so tired nowadays. It's fine to personally prefer a specific pistol/brand, but then you loose trustworthiness as an unbiased reviewer. Unbiased summary: X-10 : Best Ergos, Smooth shooting, can shoot hot loads, hand loads and lead STOCK. SIG Modularity + All standard features of modern pistols (optics/Rail/etc). Cons : Some new mags are sticky until break in. M&P : #2 or tied with X-10 if modularity isn't your concern, smooth shooting, great ergos. Cons : Gen1 had a sheering issue with Optic Screws. XD: It's an XD. Shoots well, a few steps above a Glock in features. Cons : GRIIIIIIPPPPPZZOOOOOOONNNNEE. SA has poor aftermarket support in comparison to SIG/S&W/GLOCK. Glock: It goes bang. Cons: REQUIRES a barrel change if you want to shoot hot loads & lead. MUST buy a MOS model if you want standard features like optics mounting. Anti-Ergonomic PHAT grip module due to poor outdated magazine design.Has a prolific history of exploding with hand loads (see note about barrel swap).
I know nutnfancy doesn't like offbeat caliber selections. But i really think he should try the FK Brno psd pistol in 7.5fk. That round is unbelievable. Can take down an elk at 100 meters. Its basically a 30-30 in a handgun. In my opinion an amazing shtf lightweight firearm when you want a rifle but cannot take the weight
Good review, but after seeing Sig's response to the 320's problems and having directly experienced Sig's CS, I wouldn't touch it. It doesn't do anything a Glock 20 MOS or S&W 2.0 doesn't do without worrying about what malfunction the Sig will experience and how Sig will try to laugh it off.
XDM is better and ready for prime time. I like the sig but the magazine is the problem. The magazine issue is not a dimension issue as it larger then the tangfoglios I got that are bullet proof, it’s the follower
Finding full house 10mm factory ammo is whole 'nother topic. Comparing my top charge reloads to most factory stuff makes the difference obvious. Some of it is much closer to .40 than it is to real 10mm
I’ve shot the XTen & like it way more then the regular 320s. The high slides on the 320s just could never get comfortable with it. The XTen felt more like a actual gun, the 320 9mm just feels not solid at all.
45super>>10mm...10mm was on life support for almost 30yrs and now is got new life. Lets make 45 great again. 185gr XTP at 1300ft/sec, 230 at 1100ft/sec and 255gr at 1050ft/sec
I want the comp xten myself. I love the macro and I’m expecting similar. I wish I liked the m&p but everyone I’ve held and shot feels uncomfortable. If I could get rid of that grip safety on the Springfield xd I’d buy it first
For anyone that may see this: if you were in the market for a modern double-stack .45acp and you DON'T like Glocks (no knock on them I just don't like the grip and I want a manual safety for a gun I'm shoving in my waistband...) would you go for a P320 Full size P320 compact (9+1 but I assume it will accept the larger mags from the full size?), M&P 2.0, or something else I'm missing? I like the HK's but I don't want to spend 800-900 on a pistol and have it not be a 1911. Guessing I'm not going to find a better deal then the M&P at like $550 w/ two 10rd mags. Any other sub-$600 .45's I'm missing?
That Glock 20 video is still a classic to me, love to see your work stand the test of time.

Unbiased summary:
X-10 : Best Ergos, Smooth shooting, can shoot hot loads, hand loads and lead STOCK.
I want that A7 model badly.
Loved the review, was a huge fan back in 2016…good to be back:). Also are we getting a restock on any TNP apparel? Wanna rock some of the patches!
Great Review would love to see a review on the newer Glock 20 and 29 Gen 5’s.
Gotta try to HKP comp for this pistol. Mine just arrived.
A long-term TNP'er got me in to 10mm, glad he did
will say it's a slower slug but the sandb was amazing for me in water jugs and if it's going through 5 it's not to bad
Long time since I watched you guys. Thanks for the review. How about a CMMG 10mm review?
Nutn are you watching this live with us?
I don't think there are any bears in Howie. But they do have wild hogs.
I miss the old tnp - when you didn’t curse and wasn’t crass. What happened?
I’ve had mine for over a year, and I have my mind made up that I love it…. But I’d love to see you take on the Flux raider
You do in fact deserve credit for helping to revive the 10mm.
I want a 10mm but I’m leaning more towards the FN510. If only FN would make the FNX in 10mm…
I have the XDM 10mm that I like. I got the range pack with it. The SIG looks good. I will check it out soon.
Don’t bother, I have both. Sigs mags are crap
This is the way.
You forgot to mention the KLR650 was (briefly) issued to the military in a DIESEL version at one point. Crap suspension and all..
You are wrong, 45FCU is same as 10FCU.
It’s the 9mm that doesn’t interface with the 10mm or 45acp variants.
Supressor rights are used to co-witness with red dots, as well as with supressors.
G29 is a sub compact, not a compact. Thats probably where the sig compact can get some market share, since its not as terrible to grip
duuuude I totally remember the LuvChat video! 😅
I guess the call-in show misunderstood "nuttin' fancy". Presumably you turned down the Extenzz drink due to SWC issues.
Doddle doing paint removal during review🤣🤣
Call in would be sweet n cool. I'm sure ur fan base would truly appreciate chance to talk to u." The Owl is on to of the shed...
Throw back to extenze ads 😂 lmfao you two are too funny
Aprilia Tuareg🏆
Should have tried some AAC ammo. Not full power, but pretty hot at a good price.
Magtech 10mm is hotter than most pud load 10mm. Best 10mm range ammo if you're spending more is SIG elite, Steinel, or Underwood.
Haha.... I thought you didnt like KLRs Nutn? Fun y seeing that little beast on your desk.
I want the comp xten myself. I love the macro and I’m expecting similar. I wish I liked the m&p but everyone I’ve held and shot feels uncomfortable. If I could get rid of that grip safety on the Springfield xd I’d buy it first
Why does 10 mm and 5.7x28 keep going back and forth. A lot of people can't handle the 10 mm and 5.7 to expensive.
If the full size X-TEN is being called the extended, the compact version should be called the "Salt Peter"😂😂
It reminds me of the Blade Runner gun. It’s going to do the same thing as the movie-blow right through the bad guy.
I can't believe those deer stood so still! Tripple owl on the shed
Informative review...
I'm hoping that the G40 Gen5 comes out soon.
