I personally don’t carry one as I’ve got sone many thousands of rounds through my glocks that they’ll always be what I trust but if I was a new gun owner on a budget I would have zero issue with carrying a G3C. Their revolvers has ran flawlessly for me as well and for the prices are pretty damn impossible to beat. I rarely hear about someone getting a lemon from Taurus these days so all indications are that they’re QC is miles better than what it used to be. I’m prob gonna pick up that 308 bolt action as well. Have a bunch of rifles in 308 that were far more expensive so interested to see how the Taurus stacks up.

Folks, he is "THE CALEB", that was the subject matter of "Paul Harrell Rebuttal Video", where he dressed down Caleb for his lack of knowledge, decorum,intelligence, teachings-skill set, expressions, embarrassingly false advice, all the while, drinking alcohol while spewing his garbage in a video. He specifically called out Paul Harrell, for telling/showing his viewers, in "his mind", wrong mechanics/procedures/technique. He also, was in the Military, as was Paul, ( Paul made a career, over 20 years, and has a deployment under his belt). Paul also won numerous state, national, and international, shooting competition's. Absolutely legit, professional, mature, patient, and very detailed, in his video presentations, ABSOLUTELY TOP TIER GUN CHANNEL! Caleb, "wrote checks", with his ignorance, big mouth, stubborn attitude, and false narrative. Paul did almost an hour rebuttal video, which I assure you he hated to do, but felt necessary. Paul, went "scorched earth", on ol Caleb, "dressed him down", in military fashion, and never once use vulgarity, personal attacks, character assassination, or threats against him personally. It was almost embarrassing, to see/hear a grown man explain to a spoiled, ignorant, petulant fool, that he should think before he speaks. But, sometimes it needs to be done, and Paul Harrell was the MAN to do it, captured on video for all the world to see. Hopefully, ol Caleb has learned his lesson.

Too bad Taurus hired that clown Caleb Giddings to publicly represent them. The way he conducted himself before and after the Paul Harrell spat means I will never take him or anything he's involved with seriously.
My only disappointment was that Taurus never made the standard G3 as a TORO in any color other than black. Yes, there is the G3 Tactical in FDE but I always wanted the TORO in OD green. I ended up spending some $$$ on a TORO conversion kit and added it to my OD green basic G3.

Gotta test the Deputy! I myself love the classic sixguns. The Deputy looks much nicer than some of the dime a dozen Italian copies (not shitting on them), and also has a transfer bar safety like Ruger, but half the price. If you do, go for the 5.5 barreled one. A popular size for carry, balanced with speed of draw and accuracy
TNP, I am not a revolver guy at all, but that Taurus Deputy in .357 looks sweet! I would make that single-action revolver one of my first revolvers I buy. ...and then a Chiappa Rhino in 'D40S' 4 inch barrel in .357 as well. I would also like a Mk1 Webley revolver from WWI. Classic military pistol.
Caleb is a great guy. Love those 327fedmag, i've had two of them since 2010, the grandkids love 'em. So glad to see them return, one of, if not my most, favorite cartridges. The Deputy 45colt is really smooth, and accurate. The finish is really nice, we'll see if it lasts. Put ivory on it, really sharp.
Yea I would love to see the single action tested. I’ll tell you what I have a g3c and a couple revolvers 856/605 and people snicker about Taurus but I respond with all mine work just fine.

I have a SIG Mosquito, and they were known to have loading issues. Before I ever fired mine I took a Dremel tool to it and ground and polished the bottom lip off the chamber so it was smooth with the feed ramp. I never had a single problem aside for a few bulk box rounds that didn't fire on the fire strike.

My stainless 605 3 inch is literally one of my favorite guns. I have a GP100, also. That Deputy 4 3/4" in 357 is calling.
