Dev had to shoot some of the film on his iphone cos he could not afford proper cameras somedays and he lost most of his crew due to covid and broke his hand
Right
👏🏽 right and it came out amazing 10/10
I always film my movies on my flip phone too
Yeah. They ran out of money mid-way too. So they'd do a stunt with a table, break the table, then glue it back together again for the next take.
They legit had to jerry-rig alot of their gear, equipment, and props. Had to grab crew members and random people off the street to be extras lmao.
Don't really get that you needed to see the police chief being evil, he beat his mom to death then set her and the village on fire.
18:38 felt like Joe cut off Alex and then proceeded to let him talk 😂
I've noticed he does that a lot
@@lukeanderson5726 Yeah he does. For this moment here, the pause made me laugh.
Joe commented in another recent video that he’s aware of that and trying to reduce interruptions. This was probably an example of that.
That's literally Joe.... CZcams built this narcissists ego
@@LYFEonREPEAT Bro why are you even here. Interrupting people doesnt make you a narcissist lmfao
Netflix shelved this and pushed rebel moon instead clown ass company
Rebel Moon is genuinely one of the worst sci fantasy movie in the last decade alongside Disney SW movies.
Both movies trash what is your point? Just cause you loved it doesn’t mean everyone did you clown
@@crozravenI understand
@@crozravenIt’s hard to tell wether the movie was shit because of Netflix’s rancid stench, or just Zack Snyder
watch battle beyond the stars which rebel moon ripped off at least it's 80s direct to vhs fun
I personally loved his movie. I do wish there was more fighting but I think the story was solid and I LOVED the action. The use of fireworks and biting as forms of combat had me rolling. I loved it. I really wouldn’t consider it a John Wick clone. Yeah, he wears a suit and pays homage to the series but it is its own movie. Also, crazy how much red tape and issues this movie had. Surprised that it was released at all. Broken bones, broken cameras, using iPhones & GoPros and small cameras on ropes, gluing tables together to use for reshoots, Netflix canning it during filming because they were scares about the Indian government being mad at it… regardless. I loved it
I feel like im the only one that didnt notice the shaky cam being too bad. Felt intentional to how dirty the fights feel
Agree! It didn't phase me negatively one bit.
Nah there were times when it looked like Michael J Fox was holding the camera.
@@ZodsSnappedNeckNah why you gotta do Michael J Fox like that 😭
Yeah you absolutely are one of the few regarding this matter. Having smooth fight choreography like John Wick is the superior method and why the series is so beloved as it hasn't been rivaled. The shaky and flashing fight scenes reminds me of classic Hollywood action scenes from the past which isn't a good thing at all for something so focused on "martial arts" style fight scenes and not just guns. I'll add that movies like The Raid have lower budgets like this and manage to appropriately pull off fight scenes/choreography.
Many like it or don't mind it for sure, some prefer clean shots and visible actions.
Spent a couple of years creating vfx for this. I think its a great movie and am so Happy for Dev and everyone involved. It was originally just going to be 'a small Indie film!'
But the journey it went has led to where it is now.
I feel on a second viewing you'll appreciate the choices more.
You all should be incredibly proud for what you've accomplished.
what vfx did you do?
@@nissan_skyline thanks!
Nah it was presented as something else and was left disappointed wanting more of the gods stuff (action)
@@limitedAxe99 It was presented as what? it had action... What did you want it to be like?
Maybe its the more recent action films that have left you wanting more in an action film. If you look at the earlier iconic action movies (that its influenced by) there's about the same amount. The trouble with a lot of todays 'action' films is it's basically visual valium, there's nothing for you to care about. Just a case of who can do the biggest, longest set piece.
Which is fine but not everyone wants that.
Enter the Dragon has about ten minutes of action and it's one of the best. If that was released today would people be complaining about the amount of action it has within it?
Its a bit like CGI these days: Jurassic Park has about 5 mins of cgi. Jurassic World has about 50 mins which is the better film?
I feel this hunger to be satisfied/fed by as much cgi or action sequence as possible will disappear soon. I think Monkey man will be a catalyst for that.
18:50 Rated R is just a genuine MUST if your action movie has a protagonist that is willing to KILL people, Im glad Logan finally understood to give Hugh’s Wolverine a mature take out of many films that censored the brutality,
Alex face while listening to AJ's praise for the film: "did we watch the same movie?"
People thinking this is just John Wick are mad wrong
They only think that because he’s in a Black Suit and fighting but this movie is much more than that
Well, I mean the trailer literally looks like it would be that so can’t blame them
I mean the trailer kinda showcases it as John Wick, the revenge story of a dude who don’t give a fuck and takes out 100 people in a suit. It’s produced by one of the John Wick producers too.
yeah its worse and more boring
I mean it definitely is influence by it and a scene in the movie even directly mentions John Wick.
Definitely more rhen just being Indian John wick, but let's not act like there aren't clear influences
i just cannot understand why Hollywood INSISTS on keeping the shaky cam alive.
Most of them think when you get in a fight an earthquake happens.
its to hide glaring issues.
@dsagent you even been in a fight? An actual fight?
@dsagent
Trying to simulate the chaos in a fight
I agree. Good choreographies don't need shaky cam. It's probably to hide flaws and maybe increase intensity in a way.
He knew the guru was also implicated with his mother's death because he saw the guru's white car at the scene.
Hell, he even saw the guru inside of the car at the scene of his village being burned.
Ever seen the Man from Nowhere? Thats a really great movie too
Man from Nowhere is AMAZING. Love the knife fight scene.
That's the movie that inspired John Wick in the first place
I distinctly did not notice the shaky cam because I was actually looking at the fightings and not looking around and in that sense, it was easily to follow the fights and didn't have too many cuts
EXACTLY, these guys don't even know why shakey didn't work, it's just a buzzword to them. They held the shots, so it was still readable and fluent. Not 4frame and cut. That's why it works.
My only two major problems with this film are this:
-The Social Commentary on the Rich and Poor isn’t as explored much besides maybe one or two moments but they were quick moments. There was a line in the trailer that marketed the film as such, besides the Revenge Plot, but doesn’t do much with that.
- The Main Villain, Baba Shakti, wasn’t given much to do. And that final confrontation, I thought was going to be a fistfight where Baba gets the upper hand on Kid/Monkey Man but no, it was subverting his attention to looking at his shoes and then getting stabbed. Like I was expecting Baba, though being a spiritual guy, would be a martial arts master and shit.
But I loved Monkey Man. The fights, Some of the Cinematography and the brutality and violence was great. But yeah like everyone said, that training montage doesn’t explain how he was able to take on 4 guys at once, but I didn’t mind that montage and didn’t care for an explanation because it’s obvious he knows how to fight but he just wants to be hurt to feel pain and to the verge of death. Dev Patel did an amazing job and I kinda don’t want a sequel to this movie because where the story ends is as great as an ending of where it could’ve gotten to. It’s an honest 8/10 for me and yeah, I’d totally go watch this again or four times😅😅
Not to discount your opinion but I disagree on a few things. To start his final fights connect to his transformation which was started in the temple. He transformed first physically then spiritually. In his first fight with the boss you see the finale of his physical transformation, this is highlighted by the drums that were playing over the whole time. The second fight was the finale of his spiritual journey. This connects to the use of the shoes as a weapon, and this may not be as impactful if you do not have a Hindu/buddhist background. So I didn’t mind that it didn’t have a lot of action bc I think it also drove home the duality of the villain. How he represents himself with a lion, a symbol of pride and honour, and then resorts to cheap tricks and deception, on top of his perversion of spirituality.
Shaking cam worked for me wasn’t bad like snake eyes
The only thing for me was that I could barely understand anything they were saying, but other than that, it was great. Choreography was amazing, for sure!
English subtitles should be compulsory everywhere
@NadeemShekh-uy9zn Totally! It was a really good movie, and it probably would be better for me if I could understand the conversation between characters. I don't know if it was the strong accents or just the audio from the theater, but subtitles would have been a game changer for this one.
I speak English fluently and turn on English subtitles as back-up, so I hear you.
😉
A lot of the vocal mixing was really low
Das ray-syst!!
The character always knew how to fight, but he was losing on purpose. He only lost against the antagonist in the beginning because he was so nervous and lacked confidence…no? Or did I completely miss the mark on this one?
No you are right. He did not learn how to fight in the temple. He learned his rhythm (drum sequence), his flow of fighting. This relates to the transition from shakey cam to still. In temple his mind and body were honed and concentrated to his goals.
“Indian John Wick”
Angry Joe - 2024
He's not the first to say that. The movie itself brings up John Wick.
To be fair, a lot of people say this. I walked out and my friend said “Indian John Wick” which I completely disagreed with
💻
I’m so weak man 😭
As a person of Indian descent I’m offended and will be seeking compensation
As action movie fan for over 20 years at this point, I get the notions that shaky cam has become such a taboo thing for many viewers as of late. I think it has more to do with finesse & clarity of the directors on using the techniques itself. It should not be bog down to a generalization of any shaky cam = bad camera works. It's the same thing with overkill jump cuts in action scenes. There are some movies that clearly can utilized camera shaking pretty well to emphasize the emotional state of characters & the ferocity of the actions, but then there are indeed plenty way more movies that used it to veiled bad choreography, resulting in a mess disjointed confusing action scenes. I have not yet seen this movie myself & I am indeed hoping a good example of it.
18:40 .. The "if you're gonna interrupt me while I'm trying to give my input on this movie, I'm just not going to talk at all" face Alex gives.☠️ It was at this moment that AJ knew, he done freaked up cause he saw the face and almost immediately told him to continue lmao. Friendship at its finest😂
Yes. It's definitely not John Wick-ish..
The shaky cam is on purpose to show the MC's development and confidence,...guess it didnt work lol
It was a great film but a major complaint is important dialogue is inaudible like the mics were way to quiet
29:30 A.J. says "Slim-Dong Millionaire"
@ 1:37, The "shakey cam" you are referring to was because there was a stunt guy operating one of the cameras. Someone from the stunt crew's true passion was cinematography. Dev Patel said he would often find him dabbling in it while on set, messin' with cameras and setting up previzes before stunt scenes. So Patel decided to put a camera in his hands during a bunch of the fight scenes. So he could do stunts while filming, like rolling on the ground with the camera and "getting under the armpit of the action," Dev explains. So @ 2:07, most of the film was all filmed by the 1 main cinematographer, but that 2nd camera operator only stepped in to do fight scenes. And this was all intentional..
Joe and MoistCritical(Charlie) said almost the same exact thing verbatum. lol.
I know

Guys... I swear the Shogun review is starting tomorrow.
Also the behind the scenes for this film is kind of crazy. With Dev shooting during covid, not having most of his crew, shooting on a iphone, etc.
And woke internet complaining not having black character
@@grindyvin9354 Yeah but those few are being ignored. The cast would have refused to participate if they tried to inject black people in there.
@@Darkpara1 agreed. Also it would be eh for me if it's just salty comments or post but...
It's freaking online news made by journalist... So ... Yeah
@@Darkpara1ah yes because Yk the thoughts and feelings of the actors lmao
The shaky cam is no big deal, I’ve seen FAR worse to a point it becomes unwatchable.
I’m just surprised the fight club owner let Patel (the most wanted man in town) back in the ring. You’d think he wouldn’t want to draw attention to his own illicit biz
I appreciate that Joe did his research on this. And he is correct about the false accusation about wokeness. trans or what they call "Hijras" has always been part of Indian culture so it has nothing to do with pushing an agenda or wokeness stuff. These things were long there before the whole movement started. Just goes to show how some can accuse of wrong things when they dont even understand or know the culture/context. So kudos to Joe for pointing that out.
The shaky camera was meant to show his lack of experience and anxiety.
We are going back to the transformers
23:10 thats because originally the scene included his mom getting R-. Thats why it felt like something was missing.
Originally. To me it was very heavily insulated in the final cut just not shown
Is AJ reinventing Neill Blomkamp's name every time?
I've heard "Blomquist" and now "Blomkov"
It's like the camera man is in the fight.
Please review Late Night With The Devil ❤ I really enjoyed it 😅
I was quite disappointed. I was expecting more based on the hype. It was well acted by David but it wasn’t scary at all. Some of the effects were awful and the James Randi wannabe was insufferable
@@jeffn4836 James wan should have directed tbh, I’d give it a 6.5
I saw this as a double feature day with The first omen. Going from great shots to shaky cam and just clearly unfocused shots that drag on. I nearly walked out.
Here goes joe and his reviews without doing research again and know what went to make this film lol oh and here goes Alex again with I hate everything again lol
First minute of video and here is description based on faces i see:
4/10 3/10 | 9/10
😂😂😂😂
The funny thing was the party with loud house music stops after a gunshot in the restroom. They obviously wouldn't hear it.
LOVED the movie, messages and context. I saw India from a new angle I haven't expected! SO happy for Dev, such a deserving guy, I hope it does REALLY WELL!
some of the things are highly fictionised india, with underground fight clubs very rare in india if any exists.
new angle? Hollywood always portrays India as a poverty porn
10:00 His name is Neil Blomkamp.
The fact that Netlfix put 30 million dollars into making this movie then shelved it. But luckily Jordan peele stepped up and bought it from Netflix with Universal backing this play and are going to make money from it. Netflix gotta be kicking themselves
The movie is a direct attack at the current government. The sovereign party is very obviously the BJP. Netflix pretty obviously didn't want the heat while trying to enter the Indian market.
I really like Dev I think for starting out on his own this is an amazing start. If this is him just starting just imagine what he can do when he starts understanding more.
Joe always has an opinion and immediately changes it when OJ and Alex's opinions differ
Its very clear that he wants everyone to be on the same page. He said he was gonna give his opinion and then let them speak but as other joe was giving his opinion, Joe kept interrupting to disagree. I don't get why he asks for opinions if he's gonna try to convince people of how he sees the film.
I'm still waiting for the Godzilla x Kong extended review with OJ. I want to hear his thoughts since it's his type of movie.
still a little sad that Joe hasen't posted any of the Shogun series :(
only 2 episodes left of it
8:55: "He's a dude who's ok at fights, but he's losing fights. And then he's punching a punching bag and now he's the greatest fighter of all time"
I thought the powder he was given by the trans people gave him enhanced strength and fighting skills
when he's taken in by the community they talk about how he has the ability to fight and win, basically he doesn't want to - he wants to get his ass kicked to "feel something" so it's not that some time on the punching bag made him op😂
need y’all’s take on Late Night With The Devil!!!
Movie for me was actually pretty good. Entertaining. Definitely a better watch than this movie for sure.
I just wish it didn't have AI garbage in it
@@ketchupkatsup9805 true, they were so close to perfect, you’ve done all that work why ruin it with a spot of laziness
I thought the training montage was more about finding himself again more so getting “stronger”. Including the community aspect of rehabilitating oneself. 🤷🏻♂️ I loved it!
Just saw the movie a couple hours ago -- my opinion on THE DOG is that it shows that Dev's character who's been through poverty and says lines like "You just forget us and have all those parties..." etc., doesn't turn a blind eye to people or even dogs in poverty that need something. It shows that he's resourceful AND cares for those that do not have much. It also acts as a way to include the girl in his dialogue too.
Patiently waiting for you to review “Animal”..
Sorry to tell ya that movie came out on December 1st in the united states. They're never gonna review it at this point.
The guru is sat in the car whilst the village is burnt, kid sees the car...
The leader of the Hijra did say they used to be warriors -- that's why he says remember who you are in the note.
Thanks AJ for letting OJ and Alex give their takes
Dev is 6 feet 2 inches tall. That big guy he fought in the arena was a legit giant of a man.
Umm the guru leader was AT THE VILLAGE! The MC saw him in his car
Trailer fight clips remind me a bit of Ong Bak aka a gem
The shaky to less shaky is demonstrative of his being akin to an angry animal and as the narrative closes in on the ending and the character gets closer to his ultimate goal, hes centered and so too is the camera honed in on the focus of the proceedings. Its deliberate.
Deliberate =/= Good. That car chase was legitimately unwatchable.
@@windowsVD Exactly. I hate all this nonsense that everyone keeps saying, "the shaky cam was a metaphor." That doesn't mean a damn to me if the scenes are unwatchable.
Doesn't matter. the shaky cam parts were awful the metaphor was bad and the fact it was deliberate, instead of budget issues (which is what i heard) actually makes it so, so much worse imho.
The Night Comes for Us is my recommendation for anyone who likes The Raid
Didn’t think the shaky cam was too bad. I saw it as part of Dev’s character’s development going from inexperienced and frenzied fighter to a more confident and polished fighter when the cam wasn’t shaky at the end. Overall, DEV NEEDS TO MAKE MORE MOVIES. This was terrific rep for South Asian action. And they used the track from Bloodywood during the final fight scenes (heavy metal band from India that kick major ass)
Best action film of the year I loved this film I love the slow build a d slow start story telling and when the action happens it is intense and the shaky cam it didn’t bother me you can tell DEV dedicated a d this was a passion project for him it is a great film
Watched it in the UK today. Can see why Jordan Peel got behind it. Dev Patel goes full on James Bond and John Wick in Monkey Man. Quality film for a first time director, actor and script. It has a brilliant training montage done to the beat of a Tabla!!
The worst part of the movie was how distractingly handsome Sikandar Kher (Captain Rana Singh) was. I was rooting for him the whole time. I wish he kept the white monkey mask on.
Guys please continue rebirth you have plenty of time to finish it before the end of the month
WHERES THE ENOCH VIDEO WENDI I NEED INFORMATIUON
Can't believe you dropped a PaRappa the Rapper line
I loved the self aware reference they made. Very well done movie, amazing job Dev Patel. Also on a side note does anyone feel like he would make an amazing link??? Like in the live action Zelda movie coming out?? Indian culture has always been a foundation of zelda lore and culture. Would love to see Indian portrayals in the new movie.
AngryJoeShow, This is amazing! I subscribed right away!
There is an emotionel premise, the movie literally starts with Young Dev in the jungle listening to a story of a monkey man
If you are familiar with the story of Hanuman (Hindi God), it feels like a retelling of this story in modern day. But yes- could have been more tight
The directorial style is a mix of Gaspar Noe, Darren Aronofsky and Chad Stahelski
just saw it and i really liked it! buttt..the shaky cams gave my gf a huge migraine and me a headache. it was dizzying when we left and had to chill in the car for a bit
Thanks for sharing and your honesty. Been hesitant to watch since I heard the shaky cam. Every review mentioned it so I don’t want to get motion sick. And Alex made it a point that the cam may be dynamic but the fight was even more dynamic and mostly not on screen.
@@JoseMolina-jz9hh yea, man! and i’m not super susceptible to motion sickness either. i didn’t realize until we sat in the car that everything was slightly dizzying
For everyone praising the final shot with the smile. They already did this smile with Heath Ledger in a promo poster for The Dark Knight. Still a good trailer tho.
They deliberately kept the politician alive for the sequel. We never see Patel die at the end.
Shaky cameras are because of budget limitations
Blonkoff!? 😂 its Neil Blomkamp.
Oh no. Shaky cam?! 😣 I hate that shit too man. Takes away so much from the skill of the fight scenes
its just in the begining, after that it got very smooth and the fights were sometimes better than the jw movies (the last fight scene especially) it felt like they swapped action directors
silent night was bad from the beginning we are supposed to believe this xmas sweatshirt wearing dad had a christmas party with his son in a neighborhood that looks like new york 1997 with gang drivebys....riiiight
John wick is mention in the movie.
I gave this movie a 8/10
WE NEED YOUR ANGRY GAME REVIEWS...
Alex that’s not what style over substance means
Like Jason Bourne shaking camera ?
Could've cut off half an hr leaving out some nonsense. The training scene was a bit dragged out. in 1hr and 40mins it'd have been perfect. The flow from start to end was just a bit strange. Other than that the action, the fighting and plot was surprisingly well made.
Did you fellas had few Nun breads with chicken tikka masala & vindaloo? It's the ultimate tradition guys!😁
So basically it is like the east Indian version of John Wick in other action heroes like Jet Li
I wanted to love this movie, at the end I didn't even end up liking it, this is no Indian john wick, it could have been, but it is lacking in so many different ways an is very flawed, the pacing is god awful,- it has a super long drawn out beginning half that felt interesting at first, sort of like a Indian criminal underground world- like john wicks- they even mention john wick- but in thier world it is just a movie, probably for the best because they don't ever need to do a cross over with this mess,
but as interesting as the beginning is with it's clever Camrea angles for non action stuff, an semi interesting world stuff they are building- witch is tossed out/forgotten in the 2nd half- unfortunately it all starts to drag, you beg for the action, but once that finally does start, it is more of a false start an the action scenes- while bloody here & there are lacking punch, you feel nothing &, the few action scenes we get in the whole movie are filmed so sloppy, unlike the better stuff we get in the beginning- with constant cuts/camrea angle changes, an later slow motion scenes that hang on the most ridiculous characters faces, it is comical in a way, but I doubt those were supposed to be funny, unlike some of the other humor that does kind of work, like the main character charging towards an then bouncing off a window while trying to escape the bad guy's,
Unfortunately we only get like 2 funny thing's that actually work, the rest that got laughs is for stuff I believe they wanted us to take seriously,
The constant Camrea changes cuts is probably because the action choreography just didn't look good/real enough so he just cut, an changes the Camrea angle over & over to try & hide it, especially during the bike chase scene, it is non-stop there,
Like they didn't have a set or area to film it properly so they just did it the low budget way, it definitely doesn't look good,
Even the plot is sloppy,
Like once he gets to the restaurant/club- racket- the main characters plan just doesn't really make sense,
& it doesn't make sense why the guy who becomes his friend would ever help him, even for that lil bit of money he made off him,
it made even less sense why the friend guy who is a criminal an seemed loyal to his criminal bosses would throw his job an life away for this new dude who is screwing everything up an basically screwed him over as well,
He even screws the audience over by not taking out the main bad while he had the clear opportunity, that also made no sense,
but still friend guy takes the main characters side just because he helped him make a few bucks during his rigged fight,
you would think his new "best friend" would have never worked with him to begin with, but say he did, he would have turned on him so freaking fast, or at least not got in the cycle thing with him knowing all the other bad guy's are after him, it just made no sense,
Plus it was friend guy's vehicle that the main guy stole,
An then when they crash friend guy is in a position to escape an the main guy isn't, an he is all emotional like they have been beasties since birth, but he says sorry friend- & leaves him behind, like they have some sort of deep bond but he has no other choice,
None of that made sense or was believable, an only happened because they needed a friend character, it would have made way more sense if the guy who was in the criminal organization was already his friend an was helping him get closer, as opposed to it just being some random guy,
Anyway, after that terrible part an the awful cycle Chase we get the even more ridiculous escape from the corrupt ops, who are all bad, all of em, an then everything the film maker built up to this point outside of the basic premise of the film, is tossed in the river just like our main character, all to be replaced with THE MSG....
Now our main character gets saved by a half man/half women character, in a dress with painted nails, an then is brought in by a community of half man/half women characters an the film just goes down the crapper from there,
After that we get a longgggg an I mean longgggg drawn out boring as freak section of the half man half women training him to be better,
We get a long workout montage, on top of another rigged fight, only this time he wins, an then the final fight scene witch is ok, it is ok, not good, nowhere near as good as any john wick fight, but it is ok,
Once again a gang of half men half women save the day for the main character, an we get those super slo mo shot section of these characters faces as they prance around in thier dresses & painted nails fighting the bad guy's,
We get 1 or 2 semi gory bodies an then the whore the guy stares at throughout the club restaurant racket scenes saves him, that goes nowhere else,
Our main character gets on a elevator like in a video game an then he faces the main bad who is sort of a religious leader or something, idk I guess he is the main bad. They both seem to lose in dumb ways an that is it, Film ends.
If the creator had just done that first decent half an then had non-stop action up until the end, or maybe a slight pause for the main hero to regroup after a failure, the movie could have been so much better,
Hell if the action scenes were filmed more competently it could have been a masterpiece,
But unfortunately as is, the film is a slog, definitely not something I'd ever watch again.
Giving you a like for the effort. Jesus man, 😂😂😂 📜
@DV8340 lol, thank you.
I had a lot to say, I started an couldn't stop because damn did it irritate me, It could have been an amazing film,
just typed as I listened to the review, still only half way through lol
didn't really notice the shaky cam, but close ups..yeah, bit overdone, but it's not that bad imo
I felt like he went from normal human to bad ass killer because he took that (drug?) the woman said weak men take it and strong men survive. I assumed the only reason he took it is because it would make him stronger if he survived. That’s the only reason I didn’t have a problem with him becoming a badass just from a punching bag and bongos.
parappa the rapper. That was a throwback. Damn
It’s called “kill your darlings” but yeah I’m def gonna see this when it comes to streaming
Devs character was a skilled fighter at the beginning of the movie, he was throwing the fights on purpose
Agree with everything Joe and the guys said. Good movie not great and yes I’m not a fan of shaky cam at all.
I'm with you on the shaky-cam. Damn the shaky cam but I liked the way the trauma was slow rolled. It was long. But damn it looked good. It is a good looking movie especially the last 30 mins
Also thought maybe the shaky cam lessened as the movie went on becuase our hero got more focused
Basically the director was clearly a fan of Jason Bourne
The fancy escort saves his life, so their friendship was worth it.
Shaky cam ruins it for me ngl
Yeah a lot of the shaky cam in this movie was definitely unnecessary, but I don’t think there was so much that it ruined it for me.
