That old Karen ruined that owners life. May that Karen have more bad luck. All that money means that some one could slip on Karen's property and sue her .JJ never accepts written words from anyone in any of her cases. Is that man a real judge????
They don’t take it as heat say but it was a sworn affidavit so legally he has to take it into consideration, judge Judy has a cap at $5,000 this one has no cap so he is required to see all evidence
The judge never established that the written statement writer ever actually brought this to the owners attention to make her aware before the fact. This case is angering.

The show claimed to award some of the largest claims in television, however, the cases presented were inspired by actual litigation, with names and details changed. The executive producer claimed that real legal principles are used in the explanations. The participants are paid actors.

Granny Karen laid it on way too thick. The point is she is old her balance is already unsteady then add a dog in her arms. And if other dogs try to go there then they are attracted to it. Both are at fault

I have only watched a few episodes with this judge and he does not have control of his courtroom. This would never happen with Judge Judy or what’s her name of the peoples court. These litigants seem like actors.

Are there people who think this "show" is real? If anything it's entitlement to the max.... And this cute little doggie would eat this woman when she dies and little princess has no food left to eat(bit of sarcasm). If only people would care so much about the animals that are being killed every day to end up on their plate as much as they love their little pets......
The show is based on real cases.Somewhere at some point in time this case was tried in a real court and was decided this way.
These types of businesses need to have signs everywhere to negate their liability. If little fifi or fido relieves themselves on the floor they are not responsible for falls please watch your step at all times because if for no other reason animals will be animals and they might leave their mark on the floor.
