    1- less heat / no heat 🍄
2- try not to do tight hair styles, use scrunches 🍃
3- bamboo bristle brush (personal tip use a wide tooth comb on your hair when wet) 🌸
4- stay away from bleaching or dying ur hair 🧚🏼‍♀️
5- hair and energy vitamins / other hair vitamins 🧃
6- wash your hair 2-3 times a week ( go as long as u can with out washing it) ✨
    personal tips 🐙
-use castor oil ( i got mine from boots for £5.50)
    -brush your hair before showering
-brush your hair from the bottom to the top
-rice water (any rice is fine WARNING it stinks)
    - use cold water at the end of your shower

Apparently opposite colours from the colour wheel are meant to make your eyes pop. That's what I've heard from videos anyway. Like for blue eyes you can use burnt orangey hues for eyeshadow...brown eyes, emerald colours or even violet eyeshadow will make your eyes pop. Maybe it's the same for hair

Thankyou for speaking up about hair extensions!! I also had permanent extensions for 3 years and they damaged my hair so much to the point where it all broke off and I was left with permanent hair loss! But every person who would fit them would always say they wouldn’t get damaged from them, and that it was just in my head after getting used to having thicker hair. I’ve been without extensions for a year and a half and with a little (a lot) of help, it looks so much healthier and thicker! So happy I made the change 💕

I’ve been a fan of Cartia for YEARS and I always loved how long her hair is and it’s one of the reasons why I grew my hair out. I’ve gone back and forth from slightly long hair to really long hair the past 5 years. Right now my hair is really long and thick. I’ve been doing this for the past 5 years, so I wash it everyday 2 days with shampoo and conditioner and I ALWAYS let it air dry and brush it only when it’s dry *like cartia too*

My hair struggled SO much after trying to keep it blonde for two years. I was never even thrilled with the results because even if i got the ends a nice shade of blonde, my newly bleached roots would be more yellow. And it would take a couple of weeks before I could see my roots. Finally just bit the bullet and used overtone to go back to brown! But it’s going to be a while before all the damaged hair grows out and I get back to a length I like. Needed this video!

I’ve always had such a strange relationship with my hair, it’s such a big part of me and my identity and how I express myself. I’m able to grow my hair really long and when I take care of it it looks great. I’ve just been in this constant cycle since I was 14. I leave it alone, I take years to grow it out, it gets long and beautiful, I’m so happy with it, then I get bored after some time and do the next damaging thing: usually bleaching/ a bad haircut. I’m back in the cycle again after bleaching it and living in China, my hair has found the new country adjustment hard, since I’m older my hair is growing slower too. I’ve just done a big chop and it broke my heart. But I’m going to do it this time and not mess with it again. This is the message I’m putting out into the world, I’m going to come back here in some months or maybe a year to update my progress. I really want to break the cycle- wish me luck!!

My hair never grew past the top of my shoulders, what I did was I dyed it my natural color and then just left it alone. I didnt use any heat, didnt dye it and I learned how to trim my own hair by cutting the (abt 0.5-1 centimeter) off the ends right after a shower once a month. It seemed impossible at first but the endresult was worth it because now my hair goes underneath my boob and it keeps growing longer despite it being dyed again. It did take a solid 1-2 years of being bored off my ass with my hair but for me it was needed to ever get past a bob in length.

Today I removed my keratin bonded extensions. I only had them for 4 months, but chose to get them as I was insecure about my naturally very thin and fine hair. I'm in shock at the state my hair is now in after only 4 months. my hair is so much thinner than it was originally and is so, so damaged (I've never seen as much hair in my bath & hair brush as I did today). So I just wanted to say thank you, Cartia, for this video. I feel a lot happier now and know that my hair will get better with time. no more extensions for me!! (maybe clip-ins though haha) xxx lots of love, Georgia (England, UK)

Okay so I know a really good tips to get thicker hair. Soo when I was 11 I had long, thin hair and it wasn’t really healthy so my mom asked if I wanted to cut it short. After a long time I decided to cut my hair short. When i went to my neighbor (who was a good hairdresser) she cut my hair short and first I loved it but I was kind of getting tired. One year later (now) I have thick long hair. Idk if it’s just my hair who grows really fast but it’s really long now, almost as long that it can reach to my belly button but still I have thick hair and this actually works and I’m only 12 but if you’re not comfortable with short hair just cut it a few inches every month and hopefully you’ll see a diffrence❤️ hope y’all the best and thanks if you’ve come so far. Btw my neighbor cut my hair short so it was as long to my shoulders and also sorry for my English I’m actually Albanian and Swedish so I’m not really the best when it comes to English I’m only in 6th grade

Best things to grow your hair fast and strong, I do all of this and I swear it works:
1.Nioxin shampoo, I use it all the time that Im not using the onion shampoo. Is really good to boost hair-growth, and to thicken your hair.
2.Onions in your shampoo, 2 times per week. Cut half an onion and put it in like half of a shampoo bottle with the shampoo of your preference. I do it with the purple Klorane shampoo, which is a really good shampoo to enforce your hair. Smells nasty but it works!
    3.Dont wash it everyday
4.Make ginger juicy with a bit of water and spray that in your roots. Leave it for the whole night. Do it like 3 times a month.
5.Coconut oil to hydrate it once a week, specially if doing the ginger juice.
6.Have a good brush like a tangle teezer
7.Leave it natural as much as you can
8.Try to eat food that is nutritious, or vitamins.
9.Try to do hydrating mask once a week too.
Dont over do any of this tips. Keep it simple.
I swear everything I just said works amazing. Ive been doing it cause I ended up with a very short hair cut. And it's grown soo much in only 3 months Im shook. Plus almost every ingredient is natural, like the onions and the ginger juice.

Non glue methods of extensions (braidless weave, nano rings) do not damage your hair If looked after correctly. Yes glue methods like keratin glue and tape could cause damage because they are actually glued to your hair xx

What has helped me with my hair is using Aussie 7-In-1 with Apricot shampoo and conditioner. Once a week I will substitute the shampoo with either Redken Hair Cleansing Cream or Redken Extreme Length Shampoo, or I'll use both. Or I would also substitute the conditioner for Redken Extreme Length Conditioner. Every other week or so I would use the complete Redken Extreme Length Shampoo and Conditioner and Leave-In Treatment. I begun using Coconut Oil for my hair as well and I do this 2x a week. I just ordered the Olaplex Bonding Oil and I can't wait to start using it. I always air dry my hair and I stopped using my straightener years ago. I get my hair trimmed every 3 months (12 weeks). By using these small changes, my hair has become shinier, smoother, and much more healthier than before.

I take collagen and it's only been a couple weeks and my hair is still thin from where the new needs to grow in but it looks good considering. I have function of beauty shampoo on it's way too and take hair gummies which I have the whole time I had extensions in and I think helped prevent even more loss.

Your hair is so beautiful. I'm just starting to repair my hair, my problem is that I never dye or bleach my hair but I have been wearing my hair up in a tight bun like style for about 10 years, I started when my boys were little because it always got in the way and just kept it like that. I stopped about 2 months ago because my ends are so see through and thin. Thank you for the great advice.

I bleached all my hair in October and I'm trying to grow it now. My roots are quite long but it's ok(my hair is naturally a light brown) but idk what i will do when my roots are going to be longer(half of my hair will be blonde and half brown). It will look horrible but I don't want to dye it because it will damage it more. Any advice? My hair is at the same length as yours.

I used to use it as well until I read a few studies and well turns out that Alzheimer patients all have one thing in common: big amounts if zinc in the brain. I just recommend people to look into it and do their own research before taking a zinc supplement!

I’m tellin you, the one thing (as you mentioned) that I struggle with is letting go of straightening my hair every 2-3 days (when I shower) bc I have very 80’s curly hair that I’ve honestly disliked from the start of middle school. It’s something I need to overcome because I know for a fact that’s what’s keeping my growth from really thriving. Pray for me lol.

    • @selinaagir
      @selinaagir Před 4 lety

This has to be the biggest struggle I have had for soooo long! What works for me is washing my hair less and trying to straighten it less. In time it doesn’t become oily. But when you workout or shower daily / more often. I believe it is essential to try and wear your hair in different styles, such as braids. When I braid it after a shower it kind of wears out and becomes a bit straighter(beachwaves) while I have 2c hair. If you really want to straighten your hair make sure to invest in better products and leave in conditioners.

    • @haileeobrien368
      @haileeobrien368 Před 4 lety

@@selinaagir I do work out practically every day as well, and it does suck when you work out in the AM and have plans in the PM that you'd like to look decent for. Since the texture of my hair is curly/coarse, sweating makes my hair hard to manage (aside from using dry shampoo to soak up the oil at my roots) it still affects my ends. I really do have to just consider tossing my straightener. Or I need to live near a beach so I have an excuse for looking like a hot mess. lol
