Nice video, I would make it a point in the future if you're comparing headphones like this to play the exact same songs on each set of headphones for an easier comparison in sound.
I use to do that but I stopped. I'll keep it in mind
thanks for the comment 🎧
I didn't know Mike Tyson was an audiophile!?? jk ;-)

Jethuth Quitht, thith M Theventy Exth and M Eth R Theven ith difficult to thay!😅😅😅😅😅
first thing i thought too
thank you for the review! I love MSR7 much more!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The video could have been 5 min though. :-P
ok after watching all the way through this makes a lot more sense. I do a lot of listening when I am studying or working, which means I'm listening to music that doesn't have as much bass. so what I was noticing was less separation in the sound. on the m70x I could hear the movement of Stravinsky's orchestra so clearly that with the FLAC 24 bit recording if someone shuffled something on stage it was possible to hear distinctly.
ye, bought them to replace m40x which i broke, slight sound improvement, BUT QUALITY of build - daaaaaaaaamn
Please test the MSR7 against MSR7 with Noise Cancelling function. does it worth to pay extra $50?
What is the name of the last 4 songs?
1:13 adjusters metal but hinges are what? plastic or metal that's where the breakage happens on similar cans
I use to have the M50s then luckily I got the M70s from my parents for X-mas. I have a bad feeling that the M50s have a slightly better sound quality than the 70s but 1. I was told the 70s need an Amp to throttle them to the edge. And 2. They do feel more comfortable for a longer amount of time. Plus the left ear-cup on my 50s needs to be hit sometimes to work.
m70x sounds worse in your case BECAUSE they are way better. m70xs arent "plug n play gift from parents" type of headphone. You need an external dax and amplifier to make them sound great.
Another thing is the m50x has an altered sound signature and m70x has completely flat signature(better for mixing). So you might prefer the m50s for their "fun" sound signature. The m70x wins in the quality department though(sound that is)
Can we mix & master a track on msr7
we cant deny they are both gorgeous 😍
I absolutely loved my m70x until my toddler broke them. So, I decided to upgrade to the MSR7NC. The noise canceling is ok, but to be candid, my bigger concern is that I'm honestly not sure that they sound as good as my m70x. I have no idea why this would be the case, since the specs seem to be the same. Agree with the video that the msr7 is more comfortable, but...
Lol use the M70x pad on MSR7
Lol use the M70x pad on ur MSR7
Same spec doesn't mean it will bring same sound/same quality sound, or the price is similar. Even the Hi-Res symbol is written on MSR7.
nice video i feel msr7 make my earache
what about this ones vs the MOMENTUM 2.0 ?
Both are strange headphones, these are better though, Momentums ig are smoother but not as crisp.
Totally agree with your review! I have had my hands on all both these headphones myself. The msr7 are a very nice looking headphone !!! Its too bad the clamping force is so strong. Im not sure what is up with the m70x, they look so cheap compared to their price and very plasticky and unpremium. I would even say the m50x are better looking and look more premium than the m70x.
Which one's sound do you prefer?
+Brandon Valdez I thing the price of the M70X is because the balaced flat sound they have. Perfect for studio, mixing and also for urban use. The MSR7 seem more for urban use than mixing. In my opinion.
Does the msr7 loosen overtime?
slightly. they become more a lot more bearable overtime
msr7 vs momentum 2?
MSR7
Z reviews already shot the m70X down pretty bad
sorry bro that's not a listening test not in the slightest
