Who is the Killian Hayes of this draft?
Reed Sheppard
He’s really one of a kind. He’s maybe the worst professional basketball player I’ve seen since Anthony Bennett.
I know nothing about the draft but because he's a Midwestern white guy playing for his home states college 1 and done, he reminds me of Gradey Dick.

Every time he tries to be a draft expert, KOC should be reminded he said Killian Hayes would be the best player in his draft class.
Uhhh hayes has “failed” because of the franchise he plays for , not due to lack of talent.

2020 draft class was messed up by pandemic. Scouting was all sorts of washed. Look at Wiseman's top spot and Haliburton's slide.
As someone who lives in Australia and watches every Sarr game... he is not 6'11 lol. He's 7'1 at least and he's got everything besides playmaking at this point. he can shoot the three, defend the perimeter, and elite shot blocker. all skills will translate
Mason Plumlee is an athletic 5 who has good vision for a big and is a good defender, none of which I can say for Edey
Edey can probably hit hella 3s in warmups
Edey would come into the league and be a better rim defender, shoot 25% better at the FT line than Plumlee, and have a more reliable inside scoring ability, not to mention be a more effective screener due to his size and width.

Okay so Reed Sheperd, Dalton Knecht, and Zach Edey, y’all like the lighter shades of ballers I see! All jokes aside, they’re all good players and should be decent in the league at the very least

Reed sheppard is listed at 6’3, fwiw. I know colleges be fuckin LYING but I just figured I’d point that out. Big difference between 6’1 and 6’3 in terms of draft value. One sounds like shit and the other sounds fine.

One thing he is wrong about is Reed Sheppard is VERY athletic. Will probably measure 35+ on the vert. Uses his athleticism very smart.
I’ve seen him put back his own missed 3 in high school so I agree lol. Kids got some bounce and at the very least the anticipation to effectively utilize what he has.
o'connor is supposed to be an expert, but he cant get sheppards height right. he' 6'3" not 6'1". B.S.

If Payton Pritchard is a rotation player in the league, I suspect Reed Sheppard will be too. Combine that with a weak draft and I understand a lottery projection in this class.

This draft BLOWS. You can tell when you have a Sr in the Top 10 and somehow, took enough drugs to convince yourself Kyle Filipowski is a lottery pick.

@recorz98 He will not be able to defend at the next level. He's not a 5 so he'll be playing against 4's who are as big, twice as athletic and he's not hanging with them on the perimeter. He already struggles now when he switches on pick and roll. And his drive, spin, pivot, pump fake up and under move (literally his only offensive move) will get SWALLOWED at the next level. He's a worse version of Frank Kaminsky yet Frank was an All American and made a title game. With less talent around him. Unathletic bigs with slow heavy feet and limited ball handling are never more than an end of the bench guy in the league. You don't draft THAT kinda player in the lottery. You can draft guys like that in the late 20's or 2nd round. GM's who draft slogging big men with limited translatable skills end up on the unemployment line.
@@squishymcsquisherson he is a skill big who can shoot,who has worked on his body gotten stronger and is moving around much better, and I have seen worse prospects taken in the top 10 in deeper draft, Nikola vucevic, Nikola jokic,Domantas Sabonis and alperen sengun, are not switching on defense and they are staring in the NBA, I am not comparing him to most those guys, except I will compare him to Nikola vucevic who is a 2 time all star with those same defensive short comings.

@@squishymcsquisherson you need to learn the game young man, because I remember Nikola vucevic as a prospect and a guy like you would have sworn there is no way he could have a long and productive NBA career, I didn't compare him offensively to jokic, sabonis or sengun, I compared him defensively to those guys, and you would probably have said those guys defensively can't compete in the NBA.
Other than Sarr, there is not one other player i like in this draft at this point. I would not have drafted anyone in the lottery in the past many drafts since maybe 2013. That is just how bad this draft is.
Jesus Christ you don’t know basketball there will inevitably be multiple all stars from this draft and it is 1000 percent deeper than the 2013 draft even if the top talent is similar.
