Some of it yes, but normally people don't go around sabotaging things. Most of these repairs do happen on a day to day basis, but i wanna see one of these that involves a TSB, not very difficult ones of course. But that will would be cool. Either way these are good videos.

I got 5 years out of Rex - $2500 CAD all-in over the 5 years with $1000 being the Michelins I put on it. If I had your help back in the day I would have been very thankful and I feel like this is the perfect level for someone just starting to learn but not clueless.

This was fun. My daughter’s TJ had an intermittent no-start. I replaced the ignition switch and key tumbler and then found the ignition switch actuator rod was broken. Replaced that and no more no-start!! Until the starter expired. Then we find a previous mechanic ran it on with an impact and stripped the bolt heads. Now it’s stuck and we can’t get a tool on the stripped head. Probably gonna have to weld a bolt to it.

Eventually bought a hand me down 93 zj from my parents. Kept it running 15 years when it was already on its last legs. At one point I was having to fix something every weekend. There comes a point when it's not worth fixing.
As other posters have said, make one un fixable, or just not worth it. Then if they figure out everything wrong, the car they win is an even better car

The first thing I would’ve done was hotwire that Jeep and jump the solenoid 😂 after I did my manual swap the neutral safety switch was stopping it from cranking so I just turned the key to on and jumped the starter relay. Started up reliably and then I later just tuned the neutral safety switch out of the ECU once I got ahold of an HP Tuners Pro Tuner.
