@@ZayxYT yea logan just bought one for 150
@@patrickbruno1187 that was the first edition shadowless, evolutions was released on 2016 which was a reprint
Why do I keep clicking these... I don't even collect cards....
Coz Psa first edition shadowless charizard = 5k - 50k prodit
Same lol
You need to started
Same here too
I feel you brother . Same here at 30 years old
the Mint 9 Charizard that he compares to the Gem MT 10 Charizard, the Mint 9 one looks like the red has a deeper color.. or am I seeing things?
Thanks for defining those scratches around a 7, been trying to find good examples of what a grade looks like without a case on it. As I have been recollecting singles NM and have been intrigued by grading some of the finer cards I find.
Thank you. I've been curious about PSA grading and getting some of my cards graded. I'm excited to send my first batch in! :)
I've had plenty of luck just using regular top loaders with penny sleeves. Using card savers you have a higher chance of bending the card. I've gotten plenty of cards grade 10 using my method.
Hey thank you so much for making a video on this! Certainly explains a lot about the process.
thanks rhyme. ive been waiting to find a good short informative video about psa submissions. hopefully some of my cards in my top loaders will get good grades.
Remember, get card savers. Do not send those cards in via top-loaders. They will get damaged in the process.
thank you for this. I still have my first edition charizard that i got back in 99' while at the mall... one of the most memorable moments in my life LOL
Thanks man! I always had a hard time recognising exact card conditions, you made the process more than clear.
yo!!! that video like that dark riachu was fire!!! never knew the extent that they go through when grading cards. thanks for the info!!!
Yeah they dig into every bit of it
Keep in mind PSA has strict standards for centering. On the front they allow for less of a centering error 45-55. While the back can be up to 75/25. Just because the centering is off disent mean it still can’t be a 10.
They will also allow one whitened back corner, but this is the important part, not both at the same time, that’s a 9
Damn that charizard on top middle at 10:42 is savage bro!!!!!!
I was thinking how do they grade them! Thank you for the video! 🔥
Bro thank you for this info and I love that dark riachu 🔥🔥🔥😉😉😉
thx rhyme I needed this
Sending in a 1999 Shadowless Charizard to PSA today. Was going to send it in a hardshell case, but your video has convinced me otherwise! Thank you!
What did it come back as?
Inquiring minds would like to know the grade you got! Please tell us
Very informative video. Well done.
Dope. Thanks for the info. Nice collection. Subbed ✌️
I'm actually so lucky, I sent my Gardivoir and MGardivoir and both came back as 10! I wanted to send it in because Gardivoir and Blaziken are my favourite pokemon, so now I can flex while admiring my favourite pokemon
Great info thanks for the video
Great video btw !!
i've got a first edition holo blastoise... some whitening on the back edges. i still think it may be worth it to get graded, if not for anything, just my curiosity!
Thanks Rhyme i found a couple books of cards under a bed (about 20 years old) this helps out a lot. have a bunch of holo and 1st editions that I need to take closer looks to see if they would be worth grading as grading prices have gone up
Great information sir! ^_^
Thank you for sharing this information. Very informative
Thanks bro, it'll surely help in the future
rhymestyle keep it up
Cool video ✌🏼️
what do they do with the sleeves and card savers...
GREAT! Thank you!!
thx for the information 😀 I also brought a lycanroc gx box yesterday and got garbage pulls out of the packs 😦
I'm fighting fiercely at god speed
Thinking about sending in my shiny rayquaza that I opened
My uncle actually has a cgc 10 first edition shadowless Charizard that he got waaaay back in 1996! It was put in this special plaque and is on his shelf in his room to this day. He won't let anyone touch it, not even my aunt
I just pulled a Secret Rare Counter Energy from a Crimson Invasion pre-release event and wanted to get it graded it has not been played and went straight from pack to sleeve to card saver would this be worth getting graded?
Great video! Learned a lot. Came across a Charizard 1st edition and it looks a bit like your Moltress. Almost flawless, but some white on the right corner of the backside. Worth to get graded?
The tail on that raichu is suppose to be like that from legendary collection
That is one good camera.
Very informative, been considering doing PSA grading but I don't think any of my cards have the potential as a perfect 10. Some day maybe
Get your favorite card
7, 8 and 9s are still worth something
I wanna get my first edition shadowless Gastly, haunter and my 1st edition Gengar all graded.
I was collecting pokemon cards back in 98 and 99 and i put them all in sleeves in a binder. They are sitting in storage somewhere. I remember having 1st editions. Theyve never been touched except once. I wonder how much my cards are worth now
Hey I have a whole binder of pokemon cards but I don't think I can buy the savers so how do I ship? If I have a binder.
Thanks for the advice and awesome videos
Thanks for the help; video helped me 5 years later from when you made it. Question unrelated, did you freak out owning those Charizard graded cards when TCG blew up in 2020-2021? Thanks!
Could u make a video with instructions with like how to track your cards, internationally, make sure you don’t mess up the sending in process so your cards dont get lost,...
Is a top loader ok to use instead of the thing you put your card in?
Do you also use a little slip on the penny sleeve to easily pull the cards out of the card saver? I've seen other CZcamsrs who grade Pokémon cards use them
You can! I normally leave a piece of the penny sleeve exposed so it's easy to pull them out
Do you think card with light scratching on Holo and 3 - 6 white spots on back edges but no creases or smudges and good corners could get like an 8?
What are the checks and balances when it comes to not getting your mailed in cards replaced with lesser grades? Who would know?
Hey man! I got a 2003 Pokemon Skyridge Crystal Charizard Holo 146/144. The card seems visually flawless except for it's tiny 1 degree curvature, due to the way it was stored for the last ten years. There are no scratches or white borders on either side of the card. Should I get it graded? The prices for it seem to go through the roof right now.
I'm from Germany and I'm not quite sure what kind of packaging or shipping service I should go for, escpecially since I don't have any other cards that seem to be worth grading.
Best regards,
Fabi
honest and helpfull tips
I might get my first edition alakazam hollow graded and there is a tiny bit of white on the top but I hope it comes back as at least a 9
Secret rare quick ball. Just got it and it’s so nice
That feeling when Charizard used to be $20...... we are ALL wishing for a time machine rn
lmao ikr
Ikr
In 2001’ charizard wouldn’t sell for less than $75. So I don’t know what year you’re speaking on.
@@diabloiii9766 yeah because it’s 2001 base set came out in 1999, by 2001 base set was probably discontinued making the charizard around $75 like you said
Yeah- I pulled a reverse and a holo, both traded away🙂🔫
I have an important question, if u send them an unopened/still sealed Ancient Mew, would they open the packaging & send it back in their case? Cuz unless it's opened, you cant see the front of the card
I have (well did, lost it during moving 😭) a lugia EX from ancient origins. It was the first pokemon card i ever pulled out of a pack (i pulled the rare out first), and it was in the worst condition possible. Literally was bent. But since it was so monumental to me and my pokemon/pokemon card addiction. I was gunna get it graded as a joke but before I did (literally days before), I moved the box that had it in and sadly, somehow lost it.
Really awesome video! I know PSA is an American company and that they're probably the most recognized card grading company in the world. Have you heard from friends or ppl online if international shipping was really expensive? I want to start getting cards graded but if PSA international shipping is ridiculously expensive I probably won't do it but they're what everyone uses to grade cards so the cards will probably be moe value in the long run 🤔
International shipping shouldnt be too expensive, but depending on the card(s) you send in, it could be worth it
i got holo reverse charizard and another one with just the picture being holo but idk if its worth sending in even after this video 😂
Didn’t even realise that I stumbled upon one of your video, what’s going on my super sandwiches 🥪 oh my god how refreshing that felt to hear haha. Cheers rhymstyle
does anybody have a link for the card savers used in the video?
Yeah I opened a jungle pack for the first time and got a holo pidgeot I kinda eant to grade it cause I think its cool so grade isnt to important
Yes! Definitely do it!
Could I just send in my binder? I hate handling collectibles. Cards games in fear of damaging. I have a set of team rocket that are in nice shape could I just boxe up my binder with the set in and post it out?
that helps allot because ive got a card that i might want to get graded but im not quite sure if i should get it graded or not
Lets talk 1st prints or 1st series. Or whatever its called. Does that only pretain to pokemon cards? And how to do even buy those when they come out in stores? Can you tell by looking at a box if its 1st printing before you buy?
where do you see how many cards there are of a certain grade? on the PSA website I don't see evolutions there
What if its a promo card? They come in wrappings so do i take it off? Im worried if i do this i will get a bad score.
Been wanting to send my cards in for a long time. Im fearful that so.ething will go wrong or they will get lost in the mail. Ive had the 1st edition starters base set and 1st edition lugia in a binder since release. Great video by the way
ill probaly send in my bad condition base set charizard because it was my first pokemon and got me really into charizard and i love it with all my heart
Hey! Quick question. How does PSA grade corners? I have some Charizard promos where the corners aren’t perfectly found. They’re more rounded and then chopped at an angle / straight, if that makes sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated
My older brother baught me like 7 evolutions packs for my birthday in 2016 and i opened all of them. I wish i saved atleast 3 but i did get the charizard its only like 6-7 tho
What should I do with my first edition fossil krabby, I think it would be a PSA 8
I saw that a 2017 black star promo celebi was selling for 160 dollars on eBay so I’m thinking of grading mine
How are you getting the 5-3/4" x 8" cards graded?
do you have to use those exact card saver or can i use an alternative?? I have this hard sleeve but its not the one you said not to use is that ok?
Thanks!
Perhaps you could give n estimate of what the prices actually are. And also best practices for handling cards...
Megaman music in the background 👌🏻
Those charizards look great!! have a good day pokestyle
thank you josh!
8:58 is the cover welded in? you can't get the card out, right? 10:13 whatis the value of the (score 9) ? (just curious ^^^ )
Lol I have a 1st edition shadowless charizard... still sitting in the penny sleeve. Want to buy it? I dug my big box of cards out of my moms attic a month ago. Going to get a few graded. They are all shadowless/first edition. Should be interesting.
I got a 1st edition charizard that isn't a 10 or 9 It has slight scratches from left to right only on the holo like they're factory scratches light.... I'm getting that card graded.... sometimes the vintage of the card puts value enough for one to just grade the card even if you know it's not a 10 you know it's still has a lot of worth.
What kind of card savers do you use?
7:10 why does the colouring look different? is it just the lighting or the camera?
I just discovered this video but it was immensely helpful.
I was wondering if you can give me some insight on my card
It's a EVOLUTIONS Charizard just like you have, how ever..The cards face has a immensely prominent Foil error all over which makes it look beautiful. It also haves very small white spots on the back and the print there is slightly off-center
Btw, the card went straight to the penny sleeve and in a plastic case that's not very bendable. So I'm wondering if I should send it in..
What about penny sleeve inside a top loader? The top loader holds the card in place pretty well in my experience?
I have a question about if I should get these cards graded. I have 8 1995 Charmander and 8 Charmeleon cards. Will it be worth send those cards in as a bulk?
Hey guys should I send in that type of charizard even though it has no scratches but has 2 white spots and is very smally bent
I have a hyper rare Rayquaza GX I wanna get graded at some point, a few people I showed it too all said it looks really good, probably around a 9 I think. I was surprised how expensive that card it tho😅
Make a video on how to use the PSA grade site!!!!
I got a question.. When PSA grades the cards surface. Do they only look at the Holo?
I got the charizard card with 200 dmg at Nintendo New York by getting a Scizor pack. I thought it was some charizard with is strong, but I realized it was pretty shiny and knew it was rare..?
I have a mewtwo and zapdos from 1999, how much would they be?
i have a rainbow rare but it has a tiny spot in the corner i think it will come back as a 9 or 8 should i send it in?
I just found one 10 in my room but it wasnt graded it is perfect should i send it in
i have a mega charzard ex 13/108 that looks perfect
Sent in a card and asked for 10 minimum....they did not reveal what the grade is yet but they did issue a certification number. The last card that I sent in did not get a certification number and it was sent back as ungraded. Is the cert# a good indication that it will get a 10?
I just pulled a rainbow charizard an immediately put it into a sleeve and into a safe place should I grade it?
i use magnetic ultra pro hard sleeves so it doesnt move since its a tight fig
Does it need to be a specific sleeve or can it be any that’s transparent?
