I would easily have to say the scyther is my favorite. Scyther and Scizor are my favorite bug types and I remember using them back in the day in GSC, so much nostalgia for me.

Was hoping to see a gengar lol, but at least you got a haunter. It'd be the only one from this set I'd want. Also I agree about dragonair being full of nostalgia, I remember pulling it all the time as a kid and wishing it were dragonite instead.

Am a fan of the psa reveal episodes. Such a shame that the prices are crazy now to just get a card graded. But you are definitely right the artworks from base sets are amazing.
Yeah this used to be a ways to make money for my fam, but PSA got overwhelmed then they got greedy

Iconic artwork to be honest
All those cards remind me of playing at the LCS every Saturday starting in 1999 with my son. Wish I hadn't given all those cards away when he left for college. That Arcanine is beautiful.

legit got like 25 10's out of a 100 pc sub recently, was stoked. They do tend to grade harsher on holo surfaces than non.

The Charizard edits cracked me up every time lol. To answer your question, the Haunter has a similar pose in Fossil, but it’s mirrored. Drawn, not 3D either. If I were to choose the card out of the batch I’d like.. it’s the 1st Edition Mr. Mime from Jungle set. One of the few 1st Editions from that set that I don’t have. About to go to the store to hopefully pick up a case of Evolving Skies. Praying they have one sealed over there. Happy holidays broski 🙏🏽

I love the PSA 9 Base set Charmander! I have a base set charmander from when I was a kid (definitely in used condition lol) but Charmander is my favorite pokemon of all time
