The English actually take crystalized honey, and grind the crystals very fine, and mix it with fresh honey, and further Grind it, and then they market it as âCreamed Honeyâ and it it widely sought out, and used to spread on toast, or bread like we use jelly. The process is described in a book from the 1800âs, I think.
Again, great job Natalie! You said that its cold so I sympathize with you. I live in SW Florida and we're doing splits and grafting queens now. I wish that at least one of the kids who come here to learn had your ability and interest. Keep doing what you're doing Young Lady...you'll do well!
I saw you at the bee conference last month but didnât know who you were. I really like your videos. Just about everything I know about beekeeping, I learned from watching hundreds and hundreds of CZcams videos, so keep up the good work and congratulations on 1,000 subscribers. - Loren Thomas
I donât actually have bees yet. This will be my first year of beekeeping. I canât wait or warm weather and to get started. Thanks for the videos. I have learned so much from them.
You are such an inspiration and I enjoy watching you share your beekeeping knowledge on CZcams. Thank you so much. Also please include me in your t-shirt and honey give away.
Great job Natalie, you have learned so much in the last yr !!! Was good to see you at the Tennessee conference, best of luck in the upcoming season đđŻđ
I put my jars of crystalized honey in the dishwasher. Works every time. I do like your method as well, especially in the larger containers. Good video, thanks
I'm so happy to hear that you now have over 1000 subscribers. I first heard of your channel watching Kamon Reynolds and Dirt Rooster. My 9 year old grand daughter loves your videos too, keep up the good work, you are inspiring.
Natalie, WOW! Your channel subscribers are really increasing. When we were at Kamonâs conference I think you were at around either 350 or 500 and now over 1k in just a little over a month. Iâm so happy for you! Iâm looking forward to your 10k. You and your family have built a very cool honey de-crystallizer, great idea! Iâve seen the little dorm size refrigerators with a light bulb as a heat source used to build a Queen Incubator to hatch capped Queen cells from grafting and that worked too. Thanks for your video and I would love to win some of your honey!
Great video young lady thanks for sharing. And thanks for the chance to win your allâs giveaway. And congratulations on a 1000 subscribers. I hope to be there someday.
I enjoy your videos so much. I am just now acquiring my supplies to start beekeeping this year. I have gathered a lot of information from your videos. Thank you so much!
Great job on your videos - New Beekeeper here and looking forward to my first hives this spring, came across a lot of valuable information watching videos posted here as well as by Kamon Reynolds, and Bob Binnie, to mention a few. Appreciate the time put into them as a way to help the beekeeping community! Keep them coming!
Would love some of your honey. Always get Northern honey in Wisconsin. You do awesome job . I still wear full bee suit after 4 years, lol thanks for the tips :)
Hey Natalie, you will be at 10k subs before long. Your channel is great and the way you present your beekeeping content is solid and fun to watch. Keep it up! Many ovens now have a 'Proof' mode for proofing dough. This holds the oven at 80-95 deg F. I wonder if you could use that and a pot or pan with water to de-crystalize honey on a smaller scale.
I picked up a small but old electric chip fryer and use water instead of oil heated to 100C, It works perfectly for single bottles up to 2lb. I am not here for the give-away but just want to say keep the vids coming.
I really didnât think about that I started beekeeping at a young age but over the years I realize that I started so young because so many people have told me that they with they started at a young age. Anyway thank you so much for commenting!
I have a 6 year old daughter that is starting to get in on the beekeeping so far she likes it an she has been stung 4 times but we have fun with it we have 13 hives been doing it for 4 years now
Congrats Natalie on you getting your 1,000th subscriber. Since Kamon's conference, my granddaughter has been following your videos. Now she is putting pressure on me to bring her to next year's conference so she can meet you. So besides being a good beekeeper you are a great influencer to young girls. Craig Fr. VA
this is also what I did but I purchased an incubator kit and installed it into the freezer. Now its dual purpose. Honey warmer/incubator for queens or eggs.
Wow just think I've been following you since you only had around 100 subscribers and now you have over 1,000. Great job on the subs and this video Miss.
That's a great idea for warming honey! I've always run hot water in the kitchen sink and floated my crystallized honey bottle until it de-crystallizes, but if I ever produce lots of honey, that approach wouldn't be scalable.
Crystallized honey is also good. As a fact 1 state in the Union most honey is that way and the people there love it. Take care and best of luck from a Upper Mid West Keeper "BRR it is Brutal cold here atm" lol
Saw you with 628DirtRooster and Kamon Reynolds, and have been catching up on your videos. Keep them comming!
