- I didn't remove all 4 pistons and rods in the video but I figured removing 2 for the sake of the video would shed enough light on what the removal process entails.
Thanks for watching!

Wow 25 mins of looking at the top of your engine bay and can’t even see what it is you’re actually doing down there Very. helpful
This is a very good video great work.
I'm a few years late but I'll ask anyway , by chance did you run a compression test on the engine before tear down if so do you recall the numbers and did it cause any damage to cylinder walls?
Did you just changed the pistons including the rings or did you drill out the whole cylinder including bigger pistons?
what were the symptoms you had before changing them ?
How difficult was this to rebuild ? About how many hours did you have in it?
Not very hard at all, it was harder trying to find the time to work on it than it was to rebuild it. The only part that was semi difficult was figuring out how to set and lock the timing but I met with a GM tech at a Chevrolet dealership and brought the toolkit and he walked me through it.
Joe Felix and probably like 3-5 days if you add up all the hours and take away the 3 months it took for the rods pistons and pins to be made.
How did they crack ?
My first test tune the target boost was set at 16PSI and I over-boosted to 29PSI..... not sure if that was it but that’s all I could think of it being.
You should make more videos bro
Thanks man, I’m going to try as soon as I don’t have as much stuff going on.
Wow, tiny pistons
