The name is William or Billy, which ever you prefer and as for the channel, well it started off a little slow as I was new to the whole CZcams scene and had a few extra curricular things going on in this little thing we all like to call life but instead of letting those things take my attention away from CZcams I decided I would try getting a little more involved with sharing my daily encounters!

Well, you guys have been asking why it is that I don’t ever post any videos driving this thing. Here you have it! I just want to be clear on one thing, throughout the clips that are compiled in this video not once was I spooling enough to make any significant amount of boost and my maf was only hitting cells up to 4500HZ. Hunter Gets Some Bird Dog Training!

Here’s a little throwback clip of how I introduced Hunter to gunshots. He’s still a little rough but this is his first time being outside with me while using a dummy launcher with live ammunition blanks. If you do not do this properly you can make a dog permanently gun shy and it will be extremely hard to undo this. I’m using .22 caliber blanks with a dummy launcher so although it’s not as loud...
PCV Delete 1.4T Chevy Cruze
zhlédnutí 4,2KPřed 5 lety
Finally got some time to start it up with the PCV deleted! In its place are 2 hoses which are vented directly to atmosphere. One is where the stock PCV used to be located and one is coming off the oil cap adapter. I was just letting it idle with the MPVI2 hooked up so I could record some fuel trim data in order to make some adjustments to the airflow👍🏼👌🏼

Why the hell doesn't anyone show how they got the bolt out? Thumb down.
So what was the actual real reasoning the turbine wasn't spinning the charge pipe?
V helpfull
Yall talking about "when it blows" its an iron head & block with a variable stock temp of 190-225 degrees. A tune to keep the thermostat open & you have 0 problems. These little blocks can take damn near 200hp per liter on stock internals. Stock springs float around 5500 rpm so to rev it out past that you might need springs & retainers which you can do on this engine without removing the head. These are cool little engines.
Wowww !! And think you do it all by yourself Epic!!
Thank you appreciate your sharing I have the same gm engine A14NET it’s normal that all 4 cylinders are 215-225 psi? I did compression check
Okay
I am facing overheating problem
Why?
since you have the 1.4l and it already had a smaller turbo previously. Was it basically a "plug and play" with the pre-existing turbo tubes, like the oil in/ out and the coolant in and out? thats the main thing ive been trying to figure out before I pull the trigger on doing this to mine. I assume it would be, but I just dont know for sure.
Jesus I need to do this...
How many horsepowers you getting with this turbo set up
Please upload footage when it blows
Hope he beefed up the internals and injectors and cooling system too.
What is needed for stock engine to take the extra hp and wear ? My bro has that engine in his buick but we’re debating on if it’ll stay reliable
Oil catch catch, earlier than normal maintenance and fluid changes, Additional oil additives for reduced wear, and meth if you wanna reduce chances of detonation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Did u have to take off the motor mount and can that cylinder head be removed without the special tool kit
Is it safe to drive it without the top cover?
new link for the crankshaft pulley bolt?
Lmfaoo waste of time 😂
great video! I have discovered a cheaper way is by using a product labeled as "methyl-hydrate" from homedepot its 99.9% Methnol!!! Mix with distilled water by weight!!! 50/50 mix or whatever ratio you want!
Ready to blow that motor in 3.......2........!!!! 😅😅😂😂😂
😂 homie what you kno bout this car
@@issaballasworld1798 i had a turbo around this size on my cruze and it blew in a week
That’s what I’m thinking this engine isn’t performance it’s a daily cruiser the only reason gm put turbo is it’s slow as heck it wouldn’t have sold but idk what they did to the engine itself so I can’t say one way or other
@@dominicgarcia85 it's a ridiculously enjoyable daily driver in the City though thanks to the turbo. Never meant to be swerving & passing cars on the freeway, though you probably could if you didn't care about maintaining it & letting it last.
@@issaballasworld1798 I don't know, just drove a bunch of them and know that puny little 1.4 can't handle shit else but a slight upgrade on its tiny turbo. Get real
I just need a manifold I can’t find one or someone willing to make one for less than $1,500
Great footage. Very entertaining
How did you find the crack?
50/50 water/methanol by weight = 128oz/gal. - 71.5oz methanol - 56.5oz distilled water
Does it needs to drain the oil first before doing this replacement?
Thank you for your videos
I got a t04e i believe 57 trim im wondering if its too big to be effective
That's Chevy for you...
mine just pops p0420 and p0171
IDK why modified a 1.4

3:55 oh its like that 😮🤤 well ight then I hear you
Looks awesome man. Looks like a huge hassle to work on anything below the valve cover lol but we love to do it anyway right 😅
1.4 or 1.8?
8 doesn’t come with turbo
@@SmokingYoMotait was a semi-valid question lol people have turbo’d 1.8s before
@@cocainecowboy1717 aftermarket no?
Just why
why not? drive what you got and mod what you can afford right?
I mean, unless he's got antilag installed that turbo is make driving this thing awful unless you drive it like a formula 1 car 24/7, albeit mines mostly stock, before these things hit boost they don't go anywhere, these are slow (but to be honest fun, low end accel is shit but high end is something to behold on this small of an engine) but fun cars
I have a 2018 Chevy Trax that recently overheated. There is liquid in the cylinder head but only oil when I pull the dipstick. Would you suggest an engine replacement or a head replacement? Chevy is suggesting an engine replacement for $9K.
I got a quote for $10,000 today for engine replacement
I give this guy huge props for showing what really goes on when working on cars. Not like every other video where they show the head just coming off soo easily.
Why could this guy say all the vehicle and information at the beginning, why half way thru the video?
I like how this guy takes the head bolts out like they wer made of glass, nice and easily n slow, and without a magnet.
Whatya mean pcv delete and pls tell me HOW
He says on the RacerX intake manifold he has, under/near the throttle body flange, is a pcv port/inlet/outlet. For his setup he can plug that port and route the pcv gasses to his oil catch can. If you have a stock cruze I suggest a PCV Fix Kit. To my knowledge this will take care of any pcv issues you're having(assuming you replace any failed pcv valves such as the evap purge canister, and/or the valve cover; at the same time as pcv kit instal) tho I havnt installed mine yet to say for certain
Hi, kind of extreme question: what is the distance between the piston top dead state and the top of the cylinder wall?
Bro where did u get that
I need that for my Cruze 🤣
Where your pulleys soaked with oil?
“I won’t be too long” “Uh huh” “2 days” 😂 that brings back some good memories
You don't show how you put it in!!! What is the point???
Can oil leak from the crankshaft?
This is happening to my car now. Replaced negative battery cable and it did good for a few weeks. But car still shakes and shuts off with air conditioner on. Please help
