R.I.P. Tech
I like the videos but good grief the number commercials is very excessive. I don't think I can watch more than 2-3 minutes tops without being forced to see two commercials.
RIP Scorch and Commander Cody
Uhhh yeah you get zero points for trying to make Episode 9 make sense. Also your incorrect about the bad batch aging like clones. They made it clear in Clone Wars last season that they did not have rapid aging like the other clones. So the bad batch ages just like Baba Fett. That is why they were out outcast from other clones. Their DNA was alter and consider to be not normal. Just like Omega they were "Special" clones. little did they know they were protecting a clone that was far more valueble then them. Another give away is that Hunters hair is barely grey. During this period of time Ashoka was going by the name Fulcrum and Rex has a full head of grey hair and compared to hunter looks way older.
@@anthonygordon9483If the Bad Batch did not have accelerated aging... how was Omega older than her brothers?
Loved that they kept tech dead for once, honoring the characters sacrifice.
I don't think they did. One of the clone assassins appeared to have goggles. I think he was tech, and they killed him subtly.
@@seanj3667no. If it had been Tech, they’d have shown us. These clone x’s were never Tech, never Cody, never anyone we knew. They were always unknown new characters. I could never believe people thought they were anything but. It was like Marrok all over again.

Adult Omega is also using Hunter’s red bandana to tie her hair up.
Gotta love how Hunter looked like an old grizzled war vet, not unlike a number of Vietnam vets I knew through my Godfather, who was in the middle of his second tour in the 'Nam when I was born...
@@AntonSolo Well he is immune to PTSD cause he is a special bred clone. He is retired and probably revered by the community he protects. He should be satisified. And unlike vets your use to he is well care for. By the way... Most Vets are well taken care of. its mainly mental health that get the best of them. Hunter is bread for war, I am sure the only thing he is sad about is for the fact that he cant join her in war. For the fact that Omega is joining the rebellion, the bad batch fulfilled their goal.
@@anthonygordon9483they brought her up & trained her well. Love how they follow her exploits into Tantiss & just know she’s been there already
I thought she was going to get pregnant with one of them and have the baby rey
Didn’t see that, that’s so cool
With her final act, nala se took out the mass murdered of her people. Glad to see that the kaminoans were avenged.
Of course, Nala Se had a metric farq-ton of baggage to answer for. Her result was fitting.
Not ganna lie that episode when they all died, and the episode of Rebels when the bugs where killed made me so sad
I still hate her for what she did to Fives, but that was a cool way to go out
FOR KAMINO
That was a perfect scene.
This ending didn’t make me feel empty it actually made me feel good
The happy ending was a very pleasant surprise
I have been dreading the end of this series for 3 seasons. That epilogue was such a cathartic experience.
Especially since the cloning program was completely destroyed, thus ending Operation Necromancer (raising an emperor clone) and beginning of Operation Stardust (the Death Star).
@@gallopingLake6 now i understand what star dust means in rogue one what a good moive and a good timeline
Gotta love how Hemlock was a clever villain . Concidering alot of the imperials underestimate their opponoment. But Hemlock knows not to underestimate the bad batch.
I will miss the guy. He was the well-written villain this show deserved
Apart from being an evil guy, he was full of his own pride and hubris. That blindsided him. In one of the early S3 episodes, he seemed pretty ambitious and thirsty for power. The Emperor told him to chill but in a cool reserved way.
I’m pretty sad they killed him off, he seemed more evil and scary than many of the inquisitors
He way underestimated them.
And built up his lab poorly. If he's gonna have the Zillow beast on site, it should be on the other side of the planet
Jeremy Renner could play live action Hemlock. I mean, it looks just like him. Lol
In the end, Echo wasn’t just The Hero of Anaxes, he was The Hero, period. He saved everyone. He really stood out for why he was an ARC Trooper before the Techno Guild took him hostage. The team would not have gotten out without Echo.
I love The Batch and was thrilled with the ending. The team deserved a happy life after all they went through.
Yep, I’m glad Echo got to save the day rather than Rex taking that position. You did good, Echo
Echo was awesome……period!, best ever undercover operative!
Echo is the goat, but for the love of all that is mighty give that man a new hand already.

When they first announced they were doing a Bad Batch series I wasn’t excited at all. This has been one of my favorite Star Wars things ever.
Fr fr I was not excited at all when news of season one came but this series gotta be my favorite along with Star Wars rebels
same here! ... I'm so happy they proved me wrong, what a great show!
Exactly this.

Seeing Crosshair wanting to execute a 'Plan 99' of his own because he still felt he deserved to sacrifice himself as a way to atone for his sins against his team and seeing Hunter and Wrecker show him love and value, mentioning that Omega and the other clones need him as well, and doing it together was such a wonderful scene. But do you know what made that even better? Seeing Omega hug Crosshair first after Hemlock was shot.😭Almost teared up.
Wasn't that also the moment she first saw Crosshair's missing hand - in that moment she paused before running to them? 😢 She didn't know his hand was cut off yet, right? 😭
That moment made it for me too.
When I saw that scene I thought that since she seen that he shot with his left hand due to his shooting hand being chopped .she felt like she really meant everything to him. Like he he’d shoot a perfect shot if it’s omega on the line no matter the condition , so she hugged him it was the full break through
Agree. Imagine how good it would have made Crosshair feel! Would have been a major step with his healing...
Doctor Hemlocks death was easily the most cathartic death in the franchise ever. Of all time.
Yeah I agree with that, but I Kinda wish he lived until Tarkan got there to hand him over to Vader to deal with.
or eaten I would have liked eaten as well 😂 😂
Honestly, seeing Rampart get blown up after shooting Nala was cathartic too.
Seeing Jabba get strangled was the OG catharsis
Admiral Krennic getting blown up BY the Death Star and due to the kamikaze efforts “Jyn Erso, daughter of Galen and Lyra Erso” is some pretty dope schadenfrude too
For SURE.
A clone fully joining the rebellion marks this the exact moment the prequels end and the era of the Rebellion begins

The title is also the first words The Bad Batch ever spoke in that it was Wrecker’s first line of dialogue in Star Wars The Clone Wars.
I was terrified that Wrecker was gonna die. Then I was mortified when (prior to watching the finale) I scrolled past a Generation Tech video with a thumbnail saying “everybody dies.”
Just finished the finale such a beautiful ending thats gripped me ,and given me alot of adventures, sorrow ,and heartfelt moments together. To see everyone manage to pull off a miracle rescue / escape ,and get the chance to live a peaceful life, seeing omega, and hunter older really touched me with the beautiful scene it was bittersweet probably the best ending to star war series ive seen in very long time truly spectacular, and wonderful show it was a wonderful journey from start to finish.

I'm going to miss this show! Thank you guys for the Easter egg, references and things we missed.
12:53 when Omega was trying to stun the clone X just before he grabbed her she tried switching it into kill mode, but couldn’t get the shot off in time. That is extremely dark that Omega was trying to not kill but had no choice then fail.

- Commander Cody going awol
- What is Chuchi up to?
- Echo helping Chuchi
- Commander Wolffe
- Asajj Ventress
- Emerie joining Echo & Chuchi
- Omega growing up & pining the early rebellion

@@flabotnum I hope we get a direct sequel series! Theres no way we won’t
I still want to know why Omega was created in the first place; did they know her blood would be particularly able to handle the M-count transfer, or did they have some other goal with her? Emerie too. Are there other clone sisters?
I also think it would be neat of Omega and Boba (Alpha) met up at some point.
Crazy how this show ends on my birthday I’m 20 now I’ve watched Star Wars since I was 4 16 years of my life Star Wars has been with me and many others in this world
I'm 73 and yep, 1977 starts my journey. It is endless!!!!
20? I remember 20....
I am 51 and I've loved SW since 77 as well.
Glad to see that this epic saga is still reaching the younger generation.
I was fully expecting Wrecker not to make it
The first two seasons I felt were a little bogged down by filler episodes, but this show's highs are as good as any in the Star Wars canon.
I'm really sad this is the end of the Bad Batch, I grew up watching the Clone Wars as a kid, and I absolutely loved it. The Bad Batch was such a phenomenal continuation of that show I loved so much as a kid.
There is still plenty of ground left unexplored. I bet we'll see another clone show!
I wouldn't mind seeings an alter version of the bad batch, and them being death troopers. Everything that reversible or the continuation of Projects star dust. Like the intro of rogue one
The facts:
Those assassins in those “incubators” was a red herring just like Snoke. We all thought there was more to it after Palps was pleased.
That last “portrait” shot of the 4 survivors sans Echo & with Batcher.
It is Exquisite! That should be on a t-shirt! Echo cut n paste into the photo and a Tech “fade” in the background.
Crosshair’s statement about Tech hit home.
Echo wasn’t an original BB, but he took crosshair’s spot when crosshair followed orders. Crosshair took Tech’s spot this season and Omega saw him in a new light (broken, yet still family) and it helped Omega grow, in a myriad of ways.
"You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous of which is, ‘never get involved in a land war in Asia,’ but only slightly less well-known is this: ‘Never cross a high skinny bridge with a Skywalker”
Ok, she's NOT a Skywalker, but you get the idea
Thank you :)
I was stressing the whole episode, they gave us so much "they are about to die" scenes
Honestly I wish they did.
Episode 11 had a great ending, I personally would've wished for some heartbreaking and shocking ending to this show.
What really hit me..was when they had the stand off. I feel crosshair’s love for Omega made him finally feel confident enough to take the shot. And Hunter helping. It was such a sweet moment.
He also had his shooting hand cut off, so he actually had to shoot with his other hand which must have been less affected
I hope we get another big clone wars style show at some point, maybe a Rex spinoff series featuring Rex's rebellion with Echo and ends at his retirement, maybe even featuring cameos from the rest of the Bad Batch in a few episodes, as Hunter does say he and Rex were trying to find the kids homes so maybe a episode where Rex and the batch deliver the kids back to their respective families.
All in all, great series that fealt like the Clone Wars made into a more emotional adult show, kinda like the clone wars growing as we grew older too.
Only complaint is that the end fealt just a teany bit rushed, but I still loved it to death.
They may find their parents, but the Order Inquisitorius is still out there (as we'll see more of in the Tales series). If we get anything, it will be a story where they connect those kids and their families with Ventress and Quinlan Vos, as they set up The Path that we learn about in Kenobi (which is a few years down the road from where BB ends).
I hope those kids matter in a way in the entire Lore. It would make so much sense
Dont see how. Thats like implying that every single force sensitive that we didnt learn about but know that plenty existed were important to the story.
Well maybe not play a very important part. But like a random shoutout or a random cameo in another show in the same time period. I just grew to like them so much, I don’t want to see them last in the bad batch Finale
I hope they were able to reunite with their families.
@@Adventuress78 idk i thought it mighta been hunter avoiding having to admit theres no way to find their parents & the best they could do is give them a safe place to grow up
They’d need Ventress & vos
I’m so glad that… *spoilers*
Batcher made it out ok. The dog must always live!
I loved this series. When it first aired it was a day after my dad’s funeral. Following all the grief and uncertainty after the funeral the show gave me something to look forward to and grew to really love the characters. Great job Screencrush for pointing out all the Easter eggs.
10/10 Finale
The character assassination of Scorch alone absolutely ruins it
I spent this entire season worrying that Tech would come back from the dead and ruin the show but this was perfect!
I was convinced for like the last five episodes that Wrecker was going to die in the name of ‘stakes’, and I was so relieved to be wrong. He just got the shit kicked out of him this season and I thought this is it, he’s the sacrificial lamb. I’m so glad they all got the retirement they deserved.
Wrecker was always my favorite Baddie because of his childlike personality. The scene that broke my heart for him was when they were on the mission with Fennic and it’s just him and Hunter, he’s sitting and Hunter is standing, and he looks up at Hunter and is like ‘what are we going to do if she betrays us?’ The look on his face in that moment spoke volumes about how lost they were, and how they were very much at the mercy of the universe. Just broke my heart. Hunter is so stoic but Wrecker’s fear was all over his face.
It was an epic lovely ending. I can't wait for an Omega spinoff series where she maybe meets up with Ventress and fennec once again and them teaming up or something. That would be cool.
She's becoming a pilot so maybe she would be part of Rogue Squadron?
I think in the future their gonna fill out that exegal air battle scene and alot of those ships that everyone was like "who was that" is gonna be the heroes we came too love over the years through shows like the Bad Batch, Mandalorian, ect. I think alot of it will be assorted Novels and Filonis' future projects.
I just hope it's still this style of animation
@@dakotacarrel346the point of that scene is that it’s not legendary fighters or something like that.. it’s just people.

Ryan, its been a pleasure. I've enjoyed your coverage of this series. Like any real (online) friend, I have offered praise and support but also constructive criticism when I saw things I didn't like. But overall, it's been a blast, time well spent. My routine has been to checkout the show then immediately tune in to your breakdown for a deeper understanding of each episode. You've always delivered and I look forward to meeting up again on May the 4th for Tales of the Empire. Best wishes.
I don't know about anyone else, but that ending had me in my feelings
A few things I want to mention:
Omega went to hug Crosshair first after the fight on the bridge, showing how much they connected over the season.
In the end, it didn’t matter who CX-2 was, because he was worth the same to Hemlock either way: a few minutes diversion and a ship, with no concern to CX-2’s survival. A perfect example of how the Empire as a whole viewed the clones.
Hemlock’s death kind of mirrors Tech’s. Tech is connected to the Batch through the cable, and chooses to shoot it to save them because he cares about them. Hemlock is handcuffed to Omega and uses her to prevent her brothers from shooting him. She points out that he can’t use her as leverage because he needs her alive, but he all he cares about is his own survival, and it’s Crosshair who shoots them apart, making sure he can’t take Omega with him.
The fact that Omega’s one little tool was so instrumental to her escape is symbolic of the difference a small bit of hope can make.
I think Omega will appear in Skeleton Crew. There was some image from the show of a jacket with an omega on it, and the skull was a symbol of the Bad Batch, so it might fit.
I was like OMG little Omega is all grown up 😭
Our little girl is all grown up now!🥲
I think there is a reason why they had multiple episodes on some days to make sure the series ended before May 4th. I believe there will be some sort of follow-up announcement. Be fun to see what's coming up next.
I thought it was the perfect ending. I thought the use of the CX troopers was amazing and saw them as dark parallels to the batch. Omega clearly used the teachings from each brothers to shepherd the kids to safety, and all the details were sewn together so seamlessly. It left my heart so full!
Hemlock’s death was quite satisfying.
Oh yeah! Chef's kiss💋 🤌🏽
Ah yes....the old Villain falls down a cliff trope. I wish he would have fell down on the platform then before he dies Hunter looks him in the eyes and told him I told you so......
I would love a series about echo ,and rex if andor season 2 takes place as far along the timelines as they say, omega could make an appearance she could at least make an appearance in a novel.
Man, what a great show. I will miss it.

Hemlock showing Omega the clones struggling is parallel to Palpatine letting Luke see rebel alliance struggling. And it ends into deaths of both villains.
On the point of "the squad died with tech", I interpreted it as him implying that their ability to complete missions seamlessly was gone because now they were missing a key element to their group cohesion and thus their success rate. Almost as if he was just saying "we aren't the squad we once were, when we were at our best we could have accomplished this."
That last scene definitely gave me strong Spin-Off vibes.
I'll miss this series. It was wonderful!
18:53 Given their interactions in Season 1, Hera might have convinced Omega to join the Rebel Alliance?
Oh, yeah! I forgot she was in this.
I think hearing Hera was out there being a hero, Omega wouldn't be content with staying behind.
So if Crosshair got his hand tremor from Hemlocks attempts to reprogram him. Does that mean Hemlock was reprogrammed at some point too since he has same tremor? Would that explain why he so willingly followed the Emperors orders?
I was wondering about the parallel with his hand.
I really am going to miss this show.
Same it truly an end of era.
When on Pabu, there is a return of the high pitched flute version of Omega's theme from the very first episodes when they jump to hyperspace.
Simply put, I am so glad for this series, and Andor. Giving us an Empire that can be precise, methodical, calculating, and an actual credible threat. Not letting the heroes scrape by, abusing the dumbest possible mistakes.
What did you think of the finale?
I enjoyed it and it had a fair amount of payoff from things they had put in throughout the series.
Scorch is dead
The finale was amazing so sad to see it end I did expect at least one batch death but happy none did was really scared for crosshair also rampart got what he deserved for being greedy he could have helped the bad batch, and retired to sushi island ,but instead got blown to bits.

Great job covering the show for the last 3 years Ryan. Keep up the great work!
My Hemlock headcanon: Though badly injured, he survives the fall by fortuitously landing on something soft. Just as he is congratulating himself, the something soft lets out a huge Zillo scream...
The thing I love the most about this was that they all lived. It didn't go the rogue one route and kill everyone off just because they don't appear in the followup media.
The series was awesome, a side story that ends the "clone wars" on a positive note. Now we can see the end of the Empire. Season 3 was by far the strongest season of the show, with every episode being at least good. I think this season is up there with the best of the clone wars season. Great animated project and hope to see more.
I think its cool that the title for the show is also the bad batch's (wrecker) first line from the clone wars
Star Destroyer is an Imperial I-class. Victory's are smaller with some additional conning tower bits and side hanger covers. Imperial II's don't have that big X structure above the bridge.
Yup!
i hope at somepoint be it in a show, comic or novel omega gets to meet boba, be nice to have her meet her unaltered brother
I had no problems with the finale as I thought it was perfect. They were finally happy. I would have loved if we saw how wrecker and crosshair looked when they were old. Like I said this finale was perfect to me they got what they wanted and what they were looking for the whole duration of the show it almost made me shed a tear seeing Omega leaving home and going to start a story she could call her on it was amazing. I would really love to see omega again in animated or live action because I’m sure both would be great. I really hope she gets the rank of “general” as I think it would be a way of telling hunter

Dave filoni once again does his thing, makes an amazing animated series which also enhances the movies with new context
When the batch killed scorch, notice how they didn’t put their blaster on “stun”. Meaning they were ready to throw down now and save their little sister. Before hand if they ever encountered opposing clones they always stunned so they didn’t kill their brothers. I don’t think scorch was considered a “brother”
What a beautiful show, from start to finish. *Chefs Kiss*
That was such a satisfying ending to this series!
This honestly was a gem of series. I wasn't this satisfied since season 1 of The Mandalorian
I loved the finale so much, it’s exactly what we need. It ties into how Dave Filoni is looking into making a series based on Rex’s Clone rebellion, what we missed here can be filled in there. I also have a theory that we could possibly see Omega in the Ahsoka series. If she joined the rebellion, met up with Hera, then I’m sure they would agree to call on each other if they ever needed help. My timing might be off but I think Omega leaves to join the rebellion around the time rebels is taking place, so if she and Hera met up after that show and perhaps after the destruction of the second Death Star, then maybe we could see Hera call on her and Omega making an appearance in Ahsoka Season 2
Thank you ryan ,and doug for all the awesome breakdown for this series looking forward to seeing more to come for future ones!
I thought the finale is emotional, caught me off guard, and enjoyable to watch.
As melancholy as the end of The Bad Batch is making me, I'm equally going to miss these recaps. Thanks for all you do, Ryan & team.
Thank you Mr. Dave Filoni for the, 'Bad Batch'. And thank you Screen Crush for such wonderful documentation! Great stuff. Truly.
Yo did you notice when hunter threw that spear and picked up the gun, dude toes weren’t even on the ground lol

Adrenaline boost
I was half hoping for Tech to be the swordy boi given the glasses-look the helmet had, but then Wrecker happened.
Great run down Ryan. This was probably my favorite episode. As a retired soldier with two daughters now serving, this episode hit home.
One thing I appreciated from Omega and Hunter's last conversation was that even though she wanted to join the Rebellion, she didn't ask the rest of the squad to join her. They had fought their entire lives, and if they chose to find a little peace for themselves that should be respected
The intro also has a black and white logo, resembling their suits.
A major issue I had with the writing of this episode was the fact that Echo could have technically pulled off this entire mission solo with the help of dr Karr. All the rest of the batch did was get captured and give omega and echo a reason to not leave immediately with the kids and other clones. Sure Hemlock might have lived, but at that point they did not care whether he lived or died.
@jamwamacken1479 that and I have issues later with time jumps lol I have literally been saying this all day lol I feel that Omega showing up in another series would have had a HUGE impact and have an epic moment. Plus I feel like them under the tree talking was perfect and was heartfelt the conversation with Hunter felt redundant. Maybe if it was CrossHair we would have seen how her leaving would have impacted him. But again I just am tired of the time jumps . It's like everyone does them now and we miss the storyline in-between. . Likw the want to make sure the tie this story up and no chance to revive it lol
I disagree, all 3 groups were wheels within wheels. Shifting Hemlock's attention and dividing his forces at key times. The Batch out in the jungle allowed Echo and Omega to move more easily inside, which allowed Omega to create her diversion, which forced Hemlock to activate his kill squad, but they were occupied by catching then guarding the Batch. If any of those diversions had been missing the remaining groups would have been caught and the entire thing would have failed.
@@chrisblake4198 the released Zillo beast provided more than enough distraction for Omega and cut the path for their escape. Dr Karr provided more than enough cover for echo, to the point where Echo got into the literal vault with hemlock in the room and was not identified. The batch were redundant to the mechanics of the escape.
@@jamesmacken1479 Agree to disagree then. I feel if not for the distraction outside, there would have been too many troops in position and alert inside the base for Echo to move around or for Omega's escape to work.
The Batch knew Hemlock had to die, it was the only way Omega would have ever been able to be truly safe.
Small detail in the epilogue, when she sits down you can see she also brought the doll Wrecker had originally given her. Another way her brothers will always be with her!
I’ve put off watching this video because I knew that once I did, there would really be no more new Bad Batch content, it would really be over. I’ve enjoyed watching your breakdowns of the episodes, and I hope you’ll be doing them for The Acolyte! And please never stop doing the “your mom” jokes, they crack me up every time 😂
I hope they’ll give Crosshairs prosthetic hand soon . especially for one that becomes half rifle.
i was in tears by the end of this episode. This was fantastic
I fall for the “that’s your mom” joke. Every. Single. Time.
And I always laugh at it 😂😂🤣🤣
The Epilogue was perfect and it would be great to see Omega in a "Where were they when" type series. Rebels, Rogue One and Andor showed us there were many Pockets of resistance across the Star Wars Galaxy. With the focus of the original trilogy being Luke/Leia/Han etc. there is lots of room to explore the adventures of Omega, Ahsoka, Mando and the role they played as the Empire squeezed his fist tight across the stars.
