    It may have, but its still so much cheaper than any other comparable city that it won't matter. Tons of people are looking to leave their tier 1 cities for this place before it catches up in price.

    With the absorbent numbers you are quoting, who can afford the mortgage and put a meal on the table......Craziness I say! I know growth has been north of the burg for many years, but deals are to be had in the south of Pittsburgh. Guess you have to seek and find like anything else. I saw a property in Belle Vernon renovated, 1 car, 3 br, with finished basement on a beautiful large lot on a corner......$230k, not everyone can live in Cranberry Township, Wexford, Sewickley, Shadyside etc etc.
