Pittsburgh is a hidden gem. I tell people how much I love it there and always get surprised reactions.
My daughter has been a student there since 2017. She is in the doctoral of Audiology program there at the University of Pittsburgh. I'm a small town guy born and raised, but I love that city. If she needs anything I'll make the 4 hr. drive just to experience all that city has to offer. I always find something new that I want to experience in Pittsburgh. It is definitely one of the gems of Pennsylvania.
Yep I agree
I'm a proud displanted Pittsburgher and I always watch anything related to the city. If I gave a medal to the best video regarding Pittsburgh, this would get the Gold, silver, and bronze, and it is not even close. What a perfect, fantastic video of my beloved city. Thank you so much.
Thankyou Joe, that is great to hear, especially from a Pittsburgher
Love Pennsylvania! Pittsburgh is awesome..
Wow I never knew Pittsburgh was such a beautiful city. This has to be one of your best videos yet.
It's beautiful here. Best city in the US. ❤️😁
Thankyou for the nice words
@@trawlins396 we would all argue with you from other states too because we also have beautiful cities 😉❤️ love U.S. we have beauty in all states.
Pittsburgh is actually one of the worst cities in Pennsylvania to live in
Why?
I have been watching your videos for two years. Now you are in my neighborhood,. You did a nice job presenting Pittsburgh. Give Bella a treat for me.
Thankyou, sure will Margalo
Been to Pittsburgh 3 times, nice mid size city, one of the best stadiums in MLB, the pirates put on a terrific firework show when I was there
THE Best stadium in MLB w the best view.
My City looks so good on the Tube I enjoyed the video Tampa.
Great to hear from a Pittsburger
Born and raised in Pittsburgh Pa. Northside. Left over thirty-five years, it was nice to see home again. Beautiful memories, tgere was a bridge on the Northside that was called the Bridge To No Where, I dont know what happen to it. It has changed so much. Thank you.
Thankyoy Anna, glad to bring back some memories
The Point looks beautiful in that aerial shot.
Greatest city in North America not just the greatest but the best city in North America came to Pittsburgh 13 times and counting and living in Toronto
You're gonna make me move to Pittsburgh.... California is to much for me!!!👍👍
😀🥰😍
You did a great job with this. I have lived in Pittsburgh my whole life and I am 70 now. It truly is a great place to live.
Thankyou Stepen
Not anymore it isn't. Sirrah the interesting North side has been devastated. Heinz isn't made there any longer. Pittsburghers didn't use to take any crap. There are more transplants than those born there. This guy doesn't even give the correct history. Roberto Clemete died in Puerto Rico. We used to be tough. Not anymore. The hardiest of us have left. We knew to get out. I will always call Pittsburgh my home. I just can't take what has happened to the Pittsburgh I loved.
Pittsburgh is easily in my top five favorite cities in the world. I love it so much that I decided to move here permanently a few years ago.
I would agree with that, top 5 cities
Woo! Another relocator!
Wow. I just noticed this was posted yesterday. What better time. I’m moving to Pittsburgh real soon and needed a video like this to get some good insight on this city. Beautifully done man. I cant wait to live in Pittsburgh.
Thankyou Enrique, hope you enjoy Pittsburgh
Enrique, I'm not sure if you dance but there is also a lively Latin dance scene here and great community.
@@waterairfire wow. I dance a little salsa but mainly bachata. Any good locations you recommend??? Thanks
@@Steezymarz I tried to reply to you several times but someone is deleting my posts.
dont, i live here and the place sucks been here my whole life and traveled around
Look forward to watching this one, my hometown. We love watching all of your travel videos!
Thanks Sammy
I moved from Orlando to Pittsburgh, Love this city so much.
Just curious. What is it that you like about Pgh.? I was born and raised there. But moved to Ky. in 1981.
awesome video , thanks for showcasing our beautiful city , love your videos
Thankyou Keith, great to hear from a Pittsburger
Great video buddy. I'm 38 and have lived in Pittsburgh my entire life and you completely nailed it in this video. Pittsburgh really is a great city. I'm glad you enjoyed all we have to offer here.
Thankyou Mike great to hear that from a Pittsburger
My new home, what a beautiful place to be.
Welcome to Pittsburgh, hope you have a great time there.
Nice to know...
We visited Pittsburgh last week and relied on your video as a city guide. I think this is the best Pittsburgh tourism video out there. We loved the city. We live in Chattanooga, Tenn., and visit Atlanta often. Well, we used to. After visiting Pittsburgh, all we could think of is, why would anyone have a convention in Atlanta if they could go to Pittsburgh? Atlanta, as a city, is nothing compared to Pittsburgh. I remember a friend in HS said, "Atlanta is just a big Chattanooga." I know what he means. Pittsburgh may be the best American city I've ever visited. Speaking of Chattanooga, I see you've done a video on us. On my way now to check it out. We're honored!
Thankyou for the nice words, yep totally agree. Pittsburgh a much better convention city than ATL
This good sir was a phenomenal video on Pittsburgh. Thanks for the info and great visuals. Well done, well done.
Thankyou Greg, glad you enjoyed it.
I am a local Pittsburgh photographer and I really appreciate your excellent review of the city. Thank you!
Thankyou, that is great to hear, especially from a resident of Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh is my home. I love the great review you have given it. It's accurate.
Thank you for the confirmation.
I love Pennsylvania my 3rd favorite and dream state I always wanted to live in Harrisburg or Pittsburgh.
Love the video! I just moved back home to Pittsburgh. I've lived in Atlanta for the last 28 years and I loved Atlanta as well. But no place like Pittsburgh! I'm glad to be back in the Burgh!
Yep, I'd take Pittsburg over ATL any day
I did 15 in Atlanta as well and it couldn’t hold a candle to Pittsburgh. Proud to call it my hometown.
Lived in Atlanta over 10 years and agree - great place and really happy to be back in Western Pennsylvania
Totally one of the best cities in America! Love love love Pittsburgh !
I agree
Me too, I have not yet to discover but already in love, the positive comments and this video inspired me to book a weekend visit, Thank you:)
Very enjoyable video! Some thoughts:
1) Pittsburgh is a pleasant, scenic city to visit. They need to dismantle all their riverfront freeways, replace them with transit boulevards, and properly reconnect their waterfronts to the city.
2) NEVER take a car to Station Square or Mount Washington! Take The T. Ride the Mon Incline up and stroll along Grandview. There are several scenic overlooks between the two incline stations up there. Wander a few blocks away and lots of cool little taverns and restaurants await you.
3) PNC Park and Heinz Stadium (I just can't call it whatever abomination they renamed it -- it's HEINZ Stadium, damn it) are among the few sports venues in the USA where you can arrive in your boat.
Yep I agree, drove up to Mt Washington and those hills where steeper than SF, and yea I hate that name Acrisure.
@@TampaAerialMedia I spent a couple of very enjoyable days there in the mid-aughts. On the first day, I parked at a T station, bought a transit day pass, and explored as much of the city as possible using the light rail, funiculars, and my own two feet. It was awesome discovering cool local places that weren't in the guidebook. The restaurants and taverns were top notch. On the second day, I drove around away from downtown, discovered some cool neighborhoods, and visited Fallingwater. It's a city well worth visiting over a long weekend in the Spring or Fall.
It's disgusting to rename HEINZ field!!!!! Next they will rename the Steelers!!!!
I can hear the disdain for the new stadium name in his voice, lol. Like many of us. Great video. Love the background music, too. I miss the ‘Burgh.
yep you heard correctly.
I was just in Pittsburgh for the first time last year and plan on returning and your video has shown some new places to visit! Thank you!
Glad to help for your next trip to Pittsburgh
This City has had a phenomenal transformation.
It is on our holiday list this Summer.
Where are you from now?
JUST ANOTHER WOW!
I appreciate that Dotti
Pittsburgh is America's hidden gem and you really captured the beauty of this amazing place. Blessings to you and safe travels
Thankyou The Worlds Team, I appreciate the nice words.
How did I miss visiting this city! Looking forward to visit this hidden gem of America.
Great overview of the city (it was Bill Mazeroski by the way). I'm a Bostonian who fell in love with the 'burgh in 2006 when our Anthrocon furry convention (we see you, fursuiters!) moved to Pittsburgh--9702 attended this year including a block party.
Enjoyed!
Hoping to go to AC 2024!
My first visit was in 2021 to see The Stones concert. We fell in love with this city, so much so we have decided to spend this coming Thanksgiving at a B&B in the Mexican War Streets district.
I went to Pitt and I highly rec checking out Oakland and the university area! Also the bus system is fantastic and a great way to see the city.
Pittsburgh - "It's a little cleaner than I expected."
It's a cleaner, safer Philly basically, with not as great food selections though. The bridges and waterways are neat to see. Living in PA, I'd have to say it's the cooler city to visit if not from around here.
My wife is a flight attendant. She says Pittsburgh is a great layover or a weekend getaway.
Yes it is
OMG! I can't wait to visit this city. All I hear is POSITIVE vibes about Pittsburgh.
@@clarissetravelwineleisure Pittsburgh is definitely the hidden gem of America.
I always enjoy the last minute words before you end your video. Very nice video and never disappointed
Thankyou, yea was alittle more inspired with Pittsburgh than other cities.
Underrated city. I’m 20 minutes from NYC and would take Pitt over NY/north Jersey area anyday. Being on 3 rivers and having bridges is very unique, a pain to live there but it is beautiful! Thank you for your beautiful work, as it always is!
Thankyou Nick
That must have been a sight to see
@@HotRod8625 it's called "West End".
It's not a pain at all.
@@trawlins396 agree
As a transplanted Pittsburgher living in SWFL i have to say this video is absolutely awesome....wonderful, wonderful job. Pittsburgh really is the hidden gem city of the United States as it does not get the publicity as so many other cities. As beautiful as the city is though, its the people and their welcoming and friendly attitude towards everyone that make it such a great place. All of western Pennsylvania is truly a paradise to behold with its mountains, hills, and rivers, not to mention all of the greenery that you will see. Thank you for this video of my old home and my roots, 30 years in SWFL hasnt been long enough for me to say or feel as though im from here. I will always be a YINZER.
Thankyou for the nice words, greart to hear from aYinzer
I love the history of Pittsburgh. I read that at one point it was the richest city in the world.
Great thing about the burgh. You can always come home
@@taylorhickman84thats true... In the late 1800s and early 1900s there was no other city that generated more money than Pittsburgh because of the steel, coal, and glass industries. Andrew Carnegie, H.J. Heinz, George Westinghouse, Andrew Mellon, Henry Clay Frick, Stephen Foster, Charles Schwab among others called Pittsburgh home.
What a great overview of Pittsburgh. Thanks for putting in so much effort for the drone footage, editing, and voiceover/commentary!
Thankyou Bill for the feedback, I appreciate that.
Thanks for showing Pittsburgh to the rest of the world! I have lived here all my life and have traveled extensively as well. Pittsburgh is unique. A small city with big city offerings. Pittsburgh has been able to keep up with the times. It's a great city to live in and raise a family.
A shout out to some of our favorite Pittsburghers, Andy Warhol, Mr. Rogers, Michael Keaton, Mario Lemieux....the list goes on and on. Safe travels!
You are welcome Pete.
Nice to know! Thank you
What is the school safety like?
@@flocreation6498 Pittsburgh is often referred to as a city of neighborhoods. The actual city area is relatively small, and there you'll get Pittsburgh Public Schools, which are not great. But, the surrounding neighborhoods and suburbs do offer excellent options for public education, depending on the neighborhood.
Gorgeous city and amazing video. I love Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania.
Hey there thank you for showing my hometown in such a beautiful light!! If you ever come back you have to dive into the surrounding neighborhoods, its there where this town truly becomes unique. Semper Fi!
Thankyou Pete, yea may have to do a video of Greater Pittsburgh
The one city I couldn't get enough of while visiting. I'll be going back and who knows, I may choose to stay. It's a fantastic place.
Yep it sure is
Fantastic video! I grew up in Pittsburgh with the J & L Steel Mill practically in my back yard. My dad worked there. Then we lived near the Glenwood streetcar barn. So, is it any wonder that I'm a retired streetcar motorman? I also operated the Mon Incline. You must visit the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum! So much history in Pittsburgh! The "Seven Years War" started over that lilttle patch of land at the Point!
Thankyou, great story...year I wished I would have visited that Pennsylvania Trolley Museum
It is best video about Pittsburgh that I have watched.
Thankyou for the nice words
Its Pittsburgh. There’s an H at the end.
Love Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, Asheville and Virginia! ❤
Want to film Philly but too much crime right now
Dude, you are better than Aerial America !

I'll be visiting Pittsburgh May 2023 and your video helped me plan out things to do. It's a beautiful video.
Thankyou Gina, glad to help
Visiting this city in few days, I will submit my impression afterward. I can't wait! to see Pittsburgh:)
I just started watching this post and I am loving this so far. Of course, I tend to love everything you do. I am from Upstate NY and currently live in NC. I have actually never been to Pittsburgh, though, aside from a really cool flight. I forgot where my destination was, but I vividly recall being on an airplane over Pittsburgh and there was a fireworks show happening below us. The pilot circled several times and we saw the entire show from above it. Really cool.
Another great video my man! You are absolutely awesome at what you do! 🇺🇸🤜
Thankyou Leo for the nice words
I spent my summers with my grandparents when I was growing up. They lived on Mt. Washington, and I've always considered Pittsburgh my adopted home town. This video brought back a lot of great memories. I may live on the west coast now, but there's a lot of Pittsburgh in me.
Glad to be able to bring back memories for you
Josephine's or DeSalla's pizza?"
Excellent drone footage with fantastic views of the rivers and skyline of Pittsburgh. Really enjoy the effort you put into your videos. They move along swiftly and keep my interest throughout. A great message near the end of this video too!
Thankyou Dusty for that feedback.
@@TampaAerialMedia You have the best of everything in your videos, and I'm amazed at all the research you do about the subjects and people you cover. If I could change only one ting, it would be to eliminate the music altogether. I'm thankful you turn it down when you are doing your excellent narration, but even then, it makes old geezers like me really strain to try and hear what you are saying. Keep up the great work.
I think that he should have a tv show, this dude is amazing.

It was hilarious when you keep saying Acrisure stadium just to annoy us Steelers fans 😂 awesome video, learned more about Pittsburgh even though I’ve already watch multiple videos of Pittsburgh in CZcams. Going for my first time to Pittsburgh in September for a Steelers game and can’t wait to tour the city as well
Yep, I feel the pain of Steeler fans
😀
I live in Pittsburgh and really loved your coverage of our city! Great work and please come back again.
Thankyou Dino, great to hear that from a Pittsburgher
Beautiful! I'd say the only thing you missed is the cultural scene. The arts festival, the many galleries, the world class symphony as well as the ballet, opera and musical theater companies. Shout outs to the children's museum and the national aviary would have been nice as well. Of course, the area outside of the city has many treasures... Beautiful natural areas, adventure opportunities of white water rafting, skiing, etc, kennywood amusement park and fallingwater. But I understand that this was focused on town. You definitely captured the picturesque nature of the city and highlighted many of the great attributes and fun things to do. Thanks for showing that my home town is a great place!
True, yea wished I would of had more time to cover areas outside of downtown.
Nice to know! I am going there in few days, love art, will visit at least 2 galleries. Any recommendation?
I have watched your videos since pandemic back in 2020. Good content as always.

I'm a Pittsburgh expat living too far from home. Beautifully done. I never thought I would use the terms Pittsburgh and seductive in the same sentence. This video did that exactly. Thanks.

Did you know bridge builder John Roebling was born about 20 miles north of Pittsburgh and lived there in Saxonburg but designed famous bridge for many bcities such as NYC and Waco TX.Waco calls their bridge a “ historical icon.”

I bet a lot of people are like you. They never even thought of Pittsburgh. But I’ve live here my whole life. I’m telling you Pittsburgh is the hidden gem of America. It’s not perfect. It has all the problems any city has. But it’s a great place to live. It’s the coolest city to just drive around. All the hills, bridges, tunnels, and the city steps. The city steps are my favorite. There’s over 700 sets of public steps in Pittsburgh. And I just think they are cool.
Great video. Would love you see do Buffalo, NY. Another rust belt city going through a renaissance
Maybe one day

Hello Randy I hope you are well. And yes, my road trip for the American West is approaching. My friend who lives in chicago, he told me that there are so many tourists this year, that I have to register in advance to be able to enter yousemit park. I tried to register, I did not succeed, you have to book a week before the date of the visit. in addition to I wanted to buy the annual card (80 dollars) to be able to enter all the public parks, except the Navaros park. their answer was , they don't know how to send it outside the USA, so I have to buy it there, I hope I find some and they don't tell me , they have more left because of high numbers tfor all ⁷ tourists. suddenly I find myself paying the entry at full price. thank you
What a miracle my Pittsburgh 🎒🤗😁🖤

Great video of my favorite city!!!
Though I'm a SW Florida resident for quite some time now, I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. In fact I lived most of the first 45 years of my life there. You did an outstanding job with this video, Randy. Hats off! Oh...one thing, if you call Maz, Joe in front of a Pittsburgher, you just might have to "drop the gloves"! Haha! God Bless.
I live in Ky. now. But grew up in Pgh. in the 60's and 70's. Still have a sister and her family living there. This was a great video! Pgh. has come along way since the steel mills! However, the winters there I could not deal with being 62! Loved snow as a child, but not now!
Yea my apologies about Bill.
@@greg2976 I hear ya on the winter weather Greg. The older I got, the less i could tolerate it!
@@TampaAerialMedia Haha! No sweat!
Part of the outfield wall of Forbes Field is still standing...ivy, flag pole and all. The rest of the left field wall is outlined in brick in the sidewalk. There's a plaque in the sidewalk where Maz's homerun cleared the wall in '60. Saw one game at Forbes...the second to last day that the park was open. Dock Ellis (PIT) beat Fergie Jenkins (CHI) 2 to 1. Two complete games...don't see that anymore!
Keep up the great work!
Born in Pittsburgh moved back 3 yrs ago. Love this city but where ever you need to go have to drive over a bridge and be stuck in traffic.
yep driving can be a pain

This was wonderful to see! I have lived in the area about 60 miles east of the city and never realized so much went on and that the city is so beautiful today. Yes, I do not like the heavy and fast-moving traffic to and around Pittsburgh, so as a senior citizen I won't drive it! Great American small city!
