I just wanna say I came here because one of my progress quests was telling me atk% gauntlets/chest/feet is the best to use on attack champions, and I was like wow, what a weird way too teach me about the game since I've already geared all my attack champion completely wrong and need to go back and fix my very expensive mistake 😂
@user-uv9sr8fi6v That's what people keep telling me, but I took Elenaril into both Demon Lord and Hydra fights and her poison explosion did ZERO damage. If it was capped like max HP, then it would hit that cap and stop, which would be amazing. It literally does NO damage. Makes no sense, but I tried it about 5 times in each fight just to make sure, and got nothing out of it at all. 🤷♂️
I recently built Zavia for a similar role as poison exploder, and my first test was literally "Wow, that did not do as much damage as I had hoped". I think I used Guurda and Dark Kael for setup. I think I need to build a team with more poisoners around Zavia and maybe use her own aoe poison skill before I blow the poisons up. I pulled Mithrala in the last CVC for points, so maybe fit her in also.
@shukarion6677 Yeah, I'm a bit disappointed. I think Kymar could really make the comp go. Also getting either a poison sensitivity or a weaken or both would go a long way. I'm going to keep experimenting. I think the potential is there.
@user-dv9cu3cb6w I didn't even think of doing a video about this until I helped Sun gear out a champion, and he said, "I had no idea that's how you geared champions." As a veteran player who's been playing for 27 months, I sometimes forget that the aspects of RAID that feel second nature to me weren't always that way. Talking to a brand new player every day has helped me remember things about the new player experience that can turn into valuable videos. I'm happy to hear this video has proven worthwhile. Thanks!
@Ickyray The fitting room is SO good now! I never gear a champion without previewing as much as I can. Saves a ton of silver, but also helps you get optimal builds much more easily.
@Ickyray I'm glad I built Elenaril, but so far I'm disappointed in the result. It was never a high priority; I just thought it would be fun. Now that I have made the investment, I'm going to try to tweak it until it works better.
@ColredPlaysRSL yeah it's very cool, I have seer but haven't bothered making a speed farming team with her. I think I might hoard shards in case we get a kymar gaurnteed
@KozyKoti Yeah, but I think that's based on his passive, not the poisons themselves. Good note though! One other point that I discovered while working on Elenaril - poison activation and poison explosion are calculated differently and therefore act differently. For instance, you CAN'T use poison explosions on the CB or Hydra. A poison explosion literally does ZERO damage to the CB. It's super annoying!
@@ColredPlaysRSL as a f2p i don't have much, but somehow on a random non event 10 pull of ancient i got teo n was lucky to get akemtum, n then someone told me poison is the way to go. Don't have good regen gear, so i put akemtum teo n a good support in dungeons n lvl 25 is fun to watch, n ooooo spider hard lvl 6 under 2 minutes(1:30avg) feels good. Just fireknight is a pain as it takes too long.but the poison thing is good, almost feels like enemy max hp attack.
I have another video suggestion Sir @ColredPlaysRSL The fastest and best way to obtain Gold Coins in the Clan Shop, like what are the best quests to take or easiest with best payout etc. What to buy and what not to buy with gold coins.

Poison explosion does work on the clan bosses including hydra, it's just capped like max hp

For akemtum you do get lifesteal from poison explosions
