I have never driven a DCT, hence before buying verna TURBO I want to know about breaking, I understood your concept but correct me if I am wrong.
1.If I need to shift down, I need to take my leg off from accelerator.
2.If it is heavy traffic, I can use D>> + then slowly take off my leg from the accelerator for the crawl function.
I know my questions might sound dumb but i need to understand the concept better, I would request your guidance on the same.

Watching this in November 21. Looking to buy sonet dct. This video helped make up my mind. However, my research on dct says creep is no option cz dcts are not meant to driven at less than 10kms speed. Transmission temp will spike if you did. You seem to be suggesting that creeping fwd in congested traffic is routine in dct. Could you clear my confusion?

But I got into a confusing state...
While in drive mode.. u pressed the accelerator paddle hard to raide the rpm.. then why didn't gear shifter automatically into 2nd or 3rd ??? Still it was upto 60 kmph in 1st gear
Even if i move the lever to the manual mode, still it’s not happening but previously i was able to manoeuver it. Any reason why it is happening?

My father wanted to buy a car which should be stylish and classy. He will drive in a town only, 100kms of circumference. He can't manage manual car as he is an old age man; so our preference is automatic car only. I was confused between Venue DCT, Magnite CVT & Aura automatic. We live in Amravati and no Nissan showroom is here until now. Nagpur dealers arrange servicing camp monthly once in Amravati. Which car should I buy for him, should I hurry and buy Venue/Aura in December/Diwali or should I take a risk of Magnite? He is a government servant and I dnt want his hard earned money to go vain.. It's his 1st car, we are not going to sell it off ever.. or should I wait for new i20? Pls guide. His height is 5.7... He might feel previlege in driving compact SUV😁
