This is the 1.0 GDI Turbo petrol with the iMT Automatic Gearbox - Auta a dopravní prostředky
👏👏👏 for Hyundai. A cheap solution for people that don't want the complexity and cost of auto transmissions, really great for heavy traffic too. If you drive manual transmissions, not actuating the clutch could be strange, but with a little bit of time it will be fine. Love it.
Now, I became the fan of IMT.... No clutch... No tensions during traffic.... Only rev matching.. That's it...i literally done with clutches on traffic.... Always I get my pains in the legs

I'm too having the same problem of check engine light glowing since day 1. I have visited hyundai service center several times to fix the issue but their technicians were not able to fix it at all. They just scan and reset it. And after driving for few kilometers (sometimes even after few meters) the check engine light goes yellow again. Does anyone here came across such problems in their Venue iMT as well? If yes, what's the solution for it? If anyone knows something about this please do comment. I'd appreciate your help!

For wheel spin, have you tried brake torque launch in 1st gear ? it is possible with proper timing with releasing brake paddle above 2500 rpm.

How does iMT technology actually work
Transmission Control Unit receives signal from Transmission Gear Shift Lever Intention Sensor, indicating driver’s desire to change gears.
Transmission Control Unit sends signal to engage Hydraulic Actuator forming Hydraulic Pressure.
Hydraulic Pressure is then sent to Concentric Slave Cylinder (CSC) through Clutch Tube.
Concentric Slave Cylinder uses this pressure to control the clutch and pressure plate, thereby engaging and disengaging the clutch.
Driver is able to seamlessly shift gears without the need to mechanically operate clutch pedal.

When it comes to changing the gears do we need to press the brake pedal ? Do we need to take our foot out of the accelerator...you could have shown your foot movement below along with the upper portion of the video and is it reliable in steep hills
Bro no need to press brakes when you are already moving in 1st gear . yes you can change gear when pressing the accelerator but it has chances of damaging the engine and transmission so I prefer to not press it

Yes and no. From a driving perspective, yes, AMT is better. From complexity perspective, no, AMT uses more shifting valves and actuators. Greetings

Like many people I also have the habit of keeping my left hand continuously on the gear lever. So that means the clutch in IMT will also remain engaged because of this habit and damage it ?? Am I correct or the clutch is engaged only when it senses a gear change movement in which case just keeping your hand on the lever will not engage the clutch

Please check weather it has hill climb assist or not if it is present then it is good.
Yes it does roll back. To counter that without hill hold, just put your car in 1st gear,release your clutch(MT), gently accelerate, After these 3 steps you will feel your car wants to move forward and then finally release the handbrake...

Can u keep hands on gear all the time, as I have that habit. I heard its gear knob has sensors for clutch that means I have to remove my hand from gear knob after changing gear?
u can keep the hand - just dont put load / effort on the gear lever else sensors come to know - dont try pushing it ahead or back - thats it :)

Bhaiya kitte low rpms tak gear chal sakta h koi bhi? Aur ek aur baat ki jab break laga ke gaadi rokte hn aur gear mei hai toh clutch engage hota hai ya sirf slip pe rehta h? Clutch burn hone ki dikkat aa sakti h isse.
jab puri Tarah car ruk jaati hai to full clutch engage. slow speed pe slip starts so that aapko ache acceleration mile. We agree though that clutch life might come down slightly but its worth it :)

I feel compare to iMT.. AMT is best.. Because in AMT we will get both Drive and manual
In this case its iMT and dct and usually dct gearboxes are pretty costly
IMT is better than auto
But IMT varients costs less. If price isn't concern, AMT is better.
