that is just so hard to achieve in today s brutal world.i envy those who can work with something they love and get paid well to do that.i used to think those soccer stars thanking god after each goal were sort of over acting but now i think i would be too thanking god for getting millions upon millions for just kicking a ball around and loving it.i read zlatan ibrahimovich`es book and he said he can t wait to go to morning training pass when its cold and raining.teemu selänne,worth 100 mil,always says how much he loves ice hockey.

Excellent, uber machines are no substitute for educated action. A LOT of gym equipment is easily replaceable with ingenuity and determination as for fashion labels, they are a complete surplus. Top Marks for the old school approach. I am training a friend at the moment, no gym nearby - we use a 50Kg Sandbag made for less than £10- his transformation is unstoppable. No gym does not equal no quality training! Well done on your achievement!

he looks good in gym by himself.i ve seen comp footage and he wasn t that impressive. he sort of disappeared on stage.
He was 5 foot 2 inches tall, which didn't allow him to be competitive.

Hope you have a speedy recovery. Taking breaks sucks as Im in a similar boat only doing legs and cardio except Im letting my tendonitis settle down in my elbows. Its been 3 of the longest weeks of my life watching gains falls off.
I'm sorry for your torn bicep. Sounds painful. The muscles are 90% water. Funny to think that water can be torn, not just poured, frozen, evaporated, and condensed. But torn too. As Rich Piana said we don't eat because we like it or we love food. We eat because its part of our bodybuilding routine in order to get bigger and achieve our goal.
Basically food is a means to an end, to make our bodies grow nothing more.

@@Alan-di5kq yes we are talking about the same guy. the same guy who ate his way up to over 300 pounds of muscle to see if he could do it and then said he was to heavy and cut back down.
And Ben and Jerries ice cream he liked and had for desert after getting take out every night so yeah.
Its so sad hes gone as he was such a nice guy and really did love bodybuilding and helping bodybuilders get bigger and stronger and be better.

those guys used as much they could but they lacked some of the stuff they have today.it s said that one of arnold s talents was being able to withstand and utilize more steroids than others and having joe weiders backing to use growth hormone which was expensive those days.those guys had bitch tits for teen age girls to envy!!
Somehow the old school bodybuilders have far better pleasing and aesthetic look compared to today's bodybuilders..
Their muscles looked full, strong and solid that compliments to the rest of their body... Today's bodybuilders tend to focus on building their particular muscles to its max without any consideration to their overall look.

How is it that EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I get back to watching a low resolution of an "old school / golden era" of these physiques, I am blown away with the proportion, definition, separation????... Today it's a size game, a lot less less proportion. I really enjoy these bodies for the fantastic look. Size is impressive, but these guys simply made the balance sit perfectly on the point.
Benfatto has the most aesthetic physique in the history of bodybuilding!
