my fav socks seems to be 5toe ones. No blister since👍
- decathlon Kiprun 5toes. The compression feel is stronger than Injinji
- aonijie 5toes running and trail (theyre a tad thinner than injinji. The Running ones may be slippy with some insoles)
- injinji 5toes OW. Premium feel(and price😂) , i reserve tis for time trial or race

My first set of ‘proper’ running socks were Danish Endurance, and I’ve stuck with them since. Great value (5 for €25/30), albeit a few loose threads inside them here and there, but they’ve been bulletproof for foot protection on my runs
We’ll have to check them out. That’s a bargain.

I can recommend Rockay socks. I got the Flare and they are amazing no blisters and they are indestructible. I had Socks from Salomon and Compressport which had wholes just after a few short training runs but these hold up even on the longest and thoughest ultra trails.
I am holding off for carbon plate socks! 😊

I've just received a couple of pairs of Brav Endurance socks which I ordered off the back of watching this video. Looking forward to trying them out. Will they make it into my London Marathon kit? Time will tell!

@@TheRunTesters Well, they didn't fall off, so that's a plus. I'm usually a low cut sock wearer, so the main thing I noticed was the look. They felt great though. Soft, lightweight and well fitting on my UK Size 12 feet. No rubbing or overheating. Will the blue ones with aliens go with the rest of my marathon attire on race day? Watch the BBC to find out!
What socks would you recommend that's easily accessible in Australia? Using feetures at the moment and they feel good to me. Got a pair of balega silver also - pilling a little bit already after 8-10 uses. These are no show socks. Any normal length socks I should try that I could get here?

Here is a tip to keep your socks in good condition, after washing don't put them in the dryer just hang them out

Hi John, (Kieran here), I don't really tend to change socks between different shoes. And I'd happily choose any of those I mention here in this vid.

😂😂 (Kieran here) I tried those but find them really fiddly too put on and they actually caused me blisters with the extra material between the toes. But that might just be my squashed up toes!!
@@TheRunTesters there are different types and thicknesses. The merino wool are so good at controlling temperatures whether hot or cold. I never heard of anyone getting blisters w injinji but I guess never say never. It takes a few extra secs to put on but worth it in my eyes. Also the merino texture sits very comfy in all my trainers. Maybe it’s a USA thing but they are, at least in my area FL, one of the most popular and common options due to heat and rain.
