- We test a lot of running kit over at the Run Testers but there are certain items that we continue to use without fail. In this video, we each pick three products that we can't live without, whether that's for comfort over daily sessions or chasing PBs on race day.
NOTE: WE'VE INCORRECTLY ADDED THE PRICE OF THE OAKLEY PRIZM SUNGLASSES - THE PRICE SHOULD SAY £182.

So good to see Kieran back after the amazing feat of the Danube run!
Keep preaching about the New Balance jacket, Tom! It's incredible. I have two of them and I've now bought two of them for my wife. One of my favorite pieces of gear.
You should check out the On Running Climate Jacket guys, absolute winner!
Thanks guys and gal. 🙏🏻
I might need to pick up that running belt Nick. I have a flipbelt but it feels quite warm for race day. I also got a Naked SL belt last week but it's really tight and not very stretchy even if I am perfect on sizing, though I like the pull tabs for opening.
Compessport free belt is whit out competition
Awesome list! Would you guys do a short review video about running socks in the future? If possible, please do not include the obscure ones, but rather include the ones that would be widely available in most parts of the world. Good to see Kieran back on the channel!
They already done one
@@liquorinthefrontpokerinthe3881 unfortunately many of the ones included in that video are not widely available. In fact none of them are available here in India. I was looking for the Adidas/Nike/Puma/Reebok/Decathlon/Brooks/Saucony ones.
Decathlon Kalenji kiprun thick strap socks are awesome....
Tried a couple of brands when I first started running 6 years ago and didn't get on too great with them... Moved to these and they are the only socks I have used in the last 5 years, absolutely zero issues with movement or blisters etc...
They are probably thicker than most socks out there but the bit of compression in them across the top of the foot and around the ankle works really well I think.
Price has gone up to £9.99 a pair now.
@@ianglendinning7668 awesome 👍🏼 thanks!
Hi, great vid, love the non running shoe content (as well as the running shoe content). Quick question for Tom, how does the New Balance jacket fit e.g. true to size etc. What height, size are you (the one in the vid seems a great fit on you)?
Great video. Few questions for Nick, as trying to figure out the drinks strategy.
(1) With the 250 soft flasks, do you mix 1/2 sachet per flask? If so assuming that’s 120carbs for the race so about equivalent of 6 gels.
(2) what mile points do you take the drinks and how quickly do you consume them? Is it like a mile to drink one?
Appreciate any info as trying to get set for London. Have tried soft flasks but always seem to get leaks. Many thanks.
Hey yep I mix half a sachet per flask (I make in a 500ml bottle and then decant). Then I also have a gel maybe, get up to 140g of carbs or so, plus full 320 drink before i start. I don't really have exact points on drinks, just spread them out over the first 30-35km. I drink them over the course of about 1k, can have half and put them back in belt too. Decathlon soft flasks very good for not leaking. Or Montane ones
@@TheRunTesters excellent thank you for the info, really appreciate it. Trip to Decathlon next.
SiS beta fuel nootropics 🤯 I did a couple of 100 mile bike rides in April and May and at Mile 80 took one of them to get through the last 20 miles.... They really are like rocket fuel!
I ran 6:52 per mile at a 10k on Sunday (which is fast for me) and had a nootropics 45mins prior to starting which was fine and gave a pre race perk 👍
They are MAD aren't they. Weirdly hard to get hold of these days
Yikes. Didn't recognise Kieren there!
Which soft flasks are those?
decathlon ones i think
@@liquorinthefrontpokerinthe3881 thanks!
67 marathons in 67 days.... wow wow wow wow
Where are you getting the oakley sunglasses for £19.99?
Ah no, knew there'd be a dodgy price in there. Sorry about that.
Oakleys from 19.99? 🤔
Sorry there's a mistake on the video. The correct price is in the caption.
