I just found this sock video. Love it ! I wish this was done once a year or two. My feet became a mess. I thought it was just the shoes. But found out a big part of my foot problems were from my socks ! On a quest now trying to find which socks are for me. It’s hard because where I live I have to order most of my shoes and socks. So this type of video really helps me.

I can vouch for the quality, value and design of Higher State apparel. There socks are great value for training miles. Their Stretch Mountain Running Jacket is the bomb for the value and design features. I have always used Injiinjis, merino but have recently as of 4 years switched to Icebreakers only for one reason: Replacement lifetime guarantee. Thanks for the recommendation. I am a beginner in the hiking and walking environment but very keen. I have the Salomon Speedcross 5 GTX, aiming to use for walking hiking and running. The Stance socks for these activities, can I use any of their socks to do those? Thickness to aim for Light or Medium? I am prone to sore feet and blistering.

No worries Irfan, thanks for watching the channel 🙏
When it comes to Stance socks I tend to stick to the Mid weight running or Athletic socks I their range. The thicker socks they make might be ok if you're walking but maybe to thick to run in 👍

Higher state............Meh..........No compression whatsoever. Decent casual sock but not enough compression for running
Hilly lite comfort.........Bit better but still not enough compression. Okay for easy short runs
Of the ones you've reviewed i'm most impressed by the Stance ones. Didn't want to buy into the hype at first "these are hipster socks not running socks" but they're so soft with a very good level of compression and breathe so well. Just gotta make sure to get the "running 360 feel" ones not just the "training" ones.
For trail running Compressport, BV Sport and X-Socks make some very impressive highly technical socks

    • @Run4Adventure

The Higher state socks were £1.99!!! They're obviously not going to be as good or technical as a sock that's 10 times more expensive! 😊

Totally agree, X-Bionic make a quality sock but I'm going to have to disagree with you on Compressport socks 🤔 I've had 3 pairs and they've all gone through the toe really quick and they cost me a fortune!! That's the thing like a lot of things running related it's super personal 😊
