Hey guys, it’s Greg with Apple Explained and today we’re gonna take a look at the TWS-i7 earbuds, essentially knockoff AirPods, that I ordered from Amazon: first, we’ll do an unboxing and review, second, we’ll compare them to the official Apple AirPods, and lastly I’ll give you guys my final thoughts so you can decide whether or not these earphones are right for you.

I bought the fake ones cause I don't have a job yet and Apple is expensive. If the Apple Airpods lasted much longer I would consider buying them. I use my headphones basically 24/7. Real or fake I'm just happy to be able to listen to music lol
Miguel V No idea. The box itself said 1-2 hours, while the instructions inside said 4-5 hours. Online it said 5-6 hours. I gifted them to my cousin so I mever really got to use them, but I want to assume that they'll last about 2 hours lol

Not everyone is gonna spend $150 on something that sounds not even half as better as these earbuds. It's for people who actually have bills to pay and just need something cheap and usable. Not this 2 different sized thumbed person who has a hard on for Apple. Android is the master OS

2. long press both headphones until flashing
3. triple click one headphone
4. turn on bluetooth on smartphone and connect

Same, I have the i7s and he's pointing out everything bad, the quality is good and the case wasn't all scuffed up like his, the only thing wrong with mine is a weird high pitched noise when the case is on. Also I can snap it open with ease and I don't have to line it up and press down nor do I struggle taking the earbuds out. He's just pointing out everything bad with his pair.

But I can’t justify spending 159$ plus tax just to listen to music at work, where they could easily be broken, stolen or lost. As long as I can listen to joe rogans podcast all day i don’t care about the little bit in quality difference.

They're pretty terrible compared to the super cheap "wired" Chinese Bluetooth earphones though. For $27 you can also get much better sound quality buying a $3 Bluetooth headphone adapter and something non-Chinese for the remaining $24 to plug into it.

I got a pair that really aren’t that bad
To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. czcams.com/users/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.
You made the "difficult" parts (taking it out of the box) look extra difficult.

Honest review for anyone looking to buy these
While the quality isn’t the best, it’s far from terrible. It’s definitely alright for the price. I don’t see how they hurt his ears, I’ve had them in for hours on end and haven’t felt any discomfort. Mine stay connected until I power them off, charge properly, and have the advertised battery life. The main con is the delay when watching CZcams videos.

Well I’m so impressed I bought a second pair! Now I’ve got one charging while I’m using the other! Did anyone else notice? When you put the i7’s back in the charging block only one side was glowing orange! Which would explain the lousy sound in the left ear! Tip! Never mind what it says in the manual! Give them a good overnight charge! Make sure your Bluetooth is switched off! Take both out and press both buttons till both are flashing blue/orange! Press either one for 3 seconds! You’ll hear a message saying “ Connected” That means the two pods are now paired together! Now turn on your Bluetooth on your device! Your device will now connect to the two pods! This is so, if you want to just use one for say the phone then fine! If you want to listen to music in stereo then you obviously need the two! Hope this helps explain clearly the process! I’d definitely recommend these to anyone at the price point! And one other thing! I find them so light in my ear I sometimes forget I’m wearing them lol

These aren’t too bad at all! I have normal AirPods as well, but these are great to keep around that I use with my Windows computer, etc. and my official AirPods have disconnection problems too! I have too many bt devices connected though, including multiple tile devices.

With the cheaper version... I had issue with the left side at first... Then it paired together finally..... Sound quality was not bad for what I needed it for..

I hate it when what was unimaginable technology can't fit neatly in my skinny fit jeans and the case doesn't flip open because my fingers are so weak from everything in my life being so easy...I would call this review nitpicking but good info none the less

I got the same thing and the sounds are out of sync from my phone, the sound that happens in the AirPods happens 1 second after my phone and the right AirPod keeps glitching as in the sound keeps going on and off rapidly!!

These actually work, I have a pair and they work like angels. The sound sounds just like a pair of headphones, and I like the led indicators.
They’re actually really good. The only thing is though, is there is a blue led light on the side that blinks about ever 6-7 seconds.
and the battery is shit and they are 1 or 2 second behind when u play sound.

I have them and I love them, no buzzing no issues. But they do fall out of my ears sometimes but thats mainly because I have rather small ears so to each their own.

My dad gave me the TWS-i7s and sure, opening the case needs a bit of force, thats all that SLIGHTLY bothers me. Also, i don't have issues with the lights. I put it on my desk away from me.Or, on the floor next to me. I find the TWS-17s a 4 stars.
