I have the Hydra in .25. The first rifle I bought was terrible, very poor grouping, even with a variety of pellets. I sent it back and the replacement rifle was very accurate up to about 40 yards, and past that the groups opened up. Even though I like the rifle it's a gas hog. If I had to do it all over again, I would not have bought this rifle. My other Hatsan PCP rifles work great.

I LOVE my Hatsans and I love my Hawke scopes. My 1" Airmax 30 is my best scope.
You could just throw in the little 2 piece picitanny to dovetail adapters to gain 1/8in in hieght or so
